UNCASVILLE, CT – Things are heating up this summer at Mohegan Sun with the extension of Diva Days & Diva Nights through September 2nd. By popular demand, the promotion was recently extended to continue throughout July and August and will feature appearances by cast members of The Real Housewives of New Jersey and Jerseylicious, as well as a new customized Diva Hotel package – in addition to some of the hottest entertainment touring this summer, as well as retail and dining specials.

June 15th performance will be rescheduled to June 16th
Michael Bublé is postponing his Mohegan Sun performance on Wednesday, June 15th to Thursday, June 16th to accommodate all “Die-Hard” hockey fans in the Northeast, so they can view game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. All tickets for the Wednesday night show will be honored for the Thursday night, June 16th performance at 7:30pm.
At the chance you cannot attend the concert on this new date, refunds will be available at the point of purchase until 7:30pm on June 15th. To secure your refund please contact the outlets where you purchased your ticket. Please note, you must request your refund no later than June 15th. Country superstar Trace Adkins with special gust Kellie Pickler will bring their chart-topping hits to Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, September 4th at 7:30pm.

Adkins’ first album, the platinum Dreamin’ Out Loud, produced three Top 3 hits, including his first #1, (This Ain’t) No Thinkin’ Thing.” More than twenty of his singles would hit the Top 20 and give him the platform from which everything else would follow.
His videos have been fan-voted “Top Video of the Year” three times on GAC, and “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” was voted #2 “Video of the Decade” by CMT. Comedic genius and stand-up comedy legend, Mr. Warmth himself, Don Rickles will bring his stand-up act to Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, August 6th at 8:00pm.

Rickles continues to be very active on the stand-up comedy scene to this day. Why should I retire? I’m like a fighter. The bell rings and you come out and fight. My energy comes alive. And I still enjoy it.”
Rickles’ Book: A Memoir, was released on May 8, 2007 by Simon & Schuster. Mr. Warmth: The Don Rickles Project, a documentary about Rickles directed by John Landis, made its debut on HBO on December 2, 2007.

Connecticut celebrities compete to benefit Mothers Against Drunk Driving at Mohegan Sun September 30th
Mohegan Sun is proud to present the third annual ‘MADD About Dancing’ competition in The Cabaret Theatre on Friday, September 30th. Ten Connecticut celebrities will lace up their dancing shoes and hit the floor to help raise awareness and funds for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). This is the third year Mohegan Sun is teaming up with WCTY and Arthur Murray Dance Studio to host a night filled with fun, entertainment and competition. The evening also includes a special vocal performance by Country artist and former Dancing with the Stars competitor, Chuck Wicks.
Doors to The Cabaret Theatre will open at 7:00pm where guests will have the opportunity to enjoy hand-passed hors d’oeuvres and participate in a silent auction featuring Steiner Sports memorabilia among other items before the celebrities take the stage at 8:00pm with their professional dance partners.
The group of celebrities includes: Sonia Baghdady, Evening Anchor for WTNH; Fox Connecticut Meteorologist, Rachel Frank; Star of Johnny Rockets’ episode of Undercover Boss, Janice Garcia; Vice President of Connecticut College, Ulysses Hammond; WCTY’s on-air personality Marty Hausberger; WFSB New London Bureau Chief, Kevin Hogan; Fox Connecticut on-air personality, Jennifer Lahmers; Vice President of Libero Jewelers, Michael Libero, Jr.; WTNH Meteorologist, Gil Simmons; and Miss Connecticut 2011.
For the competition, each celebrity will be paired with a professional dance partner from Arthur Murray Dance Studios and will perform two short routines. Female celebrities will perform the Waltz and Cha-Cha, while male celebrities will try their hand at the Foxtrot and Rumba. Professional dance expos and a special performance by Chuck Wicks will round out the event. Wicks, who is playing in Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den the night before, will perform a few of his hit songs in The Cabaret Theatre for guests.
Tickets to “MADD About Dancing” are $50.00 per person and benefit Mothers Against Drunk Driving. They go on sale to the public on Friday, June 3rd and are available through ticketmaster.com or at the Mohegan Sun Box Office.
