Teams go head-to-head in two competitions to celebrate Sun WineFest at Mohegan Sun’s 10th anniversary

Sun WineFest weekend at Mohegan Sun! These contests, which take place during the Grand Tasting on Saturday, January 26th and Sunday, January 27th, will have teams battling it out to win cash prizes and the chance to call themselves “the best” grape stompers and oyster shuckers!
Mohegan Sun WineFest Grape Stomp presented by Cîroc Ultra Premium Vodka
On Saturday, January 26th at 4:00pm in the Uncas Ballroom, sixteen teams will test their skills as they try to stomp the most juice out of a measured amount of grapes to benefit charity as part of the Mohegan Sun WineFest Grape Stomp; presented by the Official Sponsor — Cîroc Ultra Premium Vodka. The winner will receive a well deserved prize of $1,500, an overnight stay at Mohegan Sun’s luxury hotel, a complimentary dinner for two at Todd English’s Tuscany and complimentary pedicures from Elemis Spa.

9th Annual Mohegan Sun Oyster Open presented by Bud Light Lime
The Mohegan Sun Oyster Open presented by Bud Light Lime is back for its 9th year with the nation’s best oyster shuckers competing for a $5,000 purse! This shucking showdown will take place on Sunday, January 27th at 4:15pm on the Main Stage in the Uncas Ballroom and is sure to be one of the most exciting events of the weekend.
