Mohegan Sun Arena to host tour on June 25th; Autobiography Fortunate Son set for release October 6th
Beginning May 2nd, John Fogerty’s highly-anticipated worldwide “1969” tour will launch its U.S. dates with a special appearance, May 2nd, at the Beale Street Music Festival. Newly announced dates include stops in Hawaii, Baltimore, NY, Philly, Cleveland, Chicago, Seattle, Denver and Uncasville, CT for a Thursday, June 25th concert. The U.S. portion of the “1969” tour is set to conclude on August 9th in Albuquerque. Mohegan Sun Arena’s concert is set for 7:30pm, and the CCR frontman will be playing treasured classics like “Fortunate Son,” “Proud Mary” and so many more from his catalogue of other all-time hits.
Tickets are $44.50 and go on sale Friday, April 3rd through Ticketmaster at 10:00am. And, coming October 6, 2015, from Little, Brown and Company, is the long-anticipated memoir by John Fogerty, titled FORTUNATE SON: My Life, My Music. With John Fogerty writing hit after hit, Creedence Clearwater Revival burst on the music scene with an energy so bright, his songs outsold The Beatles in 1969. Then, just as quickly, that CCR fire burned out in a series of internal band struggles that left the music world without the influence of one of its brightest stars for over two decades.

John Fogerty was songwriter, lead singer and lead guitarist for Creedence Clearwater Revival and is one of Rock’s most influential musicians and writers. “Don’t Be Tardy” for an exclusive Reality Check event featuring TV personality, singer and performer Kim Zolciak Biermann. The star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don’t Be Tardy gives fans the scoop on all things Kim during a live Q&A session followed by a signing on Thursday, April 30th in The Shops at Mohegan Sun.
Kim Zolciak Biermann is a singer and reality television star. Kim rose to fame during her time on Bravo’s hit series, The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Since parting ways with the show during season 5, Kim has appeared on her own spin-off series, Don’t Be Tardy, which documents her husband, Kroy Biermann and their family.

UNCASVILLE, CT (March 16, 2015) – Mohegan Sun is proud to announce that the next Wolf Den Hall of Fame inductee will be none other than the legendary Tower Of Power. The Oakland, CA band will be live in concert on Saturday, April 18th at Mohegan Sun. The longtime Wolf Den performers will kick off at 8:00pm and early into the show, Senior VP of Sports & Entertainment, Tom Cantone, along with Mohegan Tribal Chairman, Kevin Brown, will take the stage to present Tower of Power with their well-deserved Wolf Den Hall of Fame honor.
About Tower of Power:
Tower of Power’s musical odyssey began in 1968 when tenor saxophonist/vocalist Emilio Castillo met baritone sax player Stephen “Doc” Kupka in July of that year. Originally named The Motown’s, the guys paid homage to the R&B sound that influenced them while adding their own personal twist. In 1970, the now renamed Tower of Power landed its first record deal with Bill Graham’s San Francisco Records.
