Within a few hours of opening its doors today, the public has purchased every ticket to Barrett-Jackson’s Northeast Auction on June 23-25, 2016, at Mohegan Sun. In addition, consignments for The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions® are sold out and Barrett-Jackson set an attendance record for any event at Mohegan Sun. To meet the strong demand, Barrett-Jackson will offer a limited number of twilight tickets on-site, as well as increase support for bidding.
“The inaugural Barrett-Jackson Northeast Auction became a success within the first few hours with record crowds and an unprecedented sell-out of both tickets and consignments,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “So while online sales of tickets have ceased, we’re offering a limited number of twilight tickets each day to attend after 5 p.m. We also added more bidder seating and increased the number of auction personnel to support them. This will be absolutely the best collector car event in the Northeast in 2016.”
