Luke Combs To Perform Back-to-Back Shows at Mohegan Sun Arena

Combs confirms Middle of Somewhere Fall Tour with pre-pandemic ticket pricing

Country superstar and reigning Country Music Awards “Entertainer of the Year” Luke Combs will kick off his newly confirmed Middle of Somewhere Tour this fall, including back-to-back shows at Mohegan Sun Arena. Special guests Jordan Davis and Lainey Wilson join Combs in Uncasville at 7:00pm on Friday, November 4th and Saturday, November 5th.

Tickets are $85, $60, $50, and $25, and go on sale Friday, May 6th at 10:00am via ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning Saturday, May 7th, subject to availability.

“I know that the price of everything has been going up these last couple years and there’s nothing I can do about that, but the one thing I could do is set the price of my tickets. So, what I wanted to do was keep the ticket prices the same as they were before the pandemic. I really, really hope you guys will come out and check us out. Can’t wait to see you on the road!” Combs said of the tour.

Combs will release his highly anticipated new album, Growin’ Up, on June 24th. In advance of the release, Combs’ new song “Tomorrow Me,” written by Combs, Dean Dillon, and Ray Fulcher, debuted last week, of which Billboard praises, “Combs’s gruff voice brings gravitas to this introspective ballad.”

Growin’ Up is Combs’ third studio album following 2019’s three-time Platinum What You See is What You Get and his four-time Platinum debut, This One’s For You. The new record consists of 12 songs including Combs’ current single, “Doin’ This” which is currently Top 5 at Country radio and rising.

A personal reflection on his own life and career, “Doin’ This” continues to receive widespread acclaim following its release last fall, with Billboard praising, “the North Carolina native with the full-throttle voice and arsenal of hits has become an unstoppable force,” while Music Row declares, “His heart is so huge, and there are few in the format who are as completely relatable…A masterpiece.”

“Doin’ This” continues to a triumphant run at Country radio for Combs, who once again made history as his previous single, “Cold As You,” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/ Country Aircheck charts. This is the seventh No. 1 from Combs’ deluxe album, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get—breaking the record for most No. 1 singles to come from the same album—as well as his twelfth-consecutive No. 1 single overall, another historic feat.

A member of the Grand Ole Opry and a six-time CMA, three-time ACM, three-time Billboard Music Award-winner, Combs is in the midst of a record-setting and historic series of years. His previous release, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get, debuted at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart as well as Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. With the record Combs reached No. 1 on Rolling Stone’s Top 200 Albums chart, Top 100 Songs chart and Artists 500 chart—the first Country artist ever to lead all three charts in the same week and first to top the Artists 500. He also made history as the first artist ever to have their first two studio albums spend 25 weeks or more at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart—breaking Taylor Swift’s previously held record at 24 weeks.

Mohegan Sun Arena finished 2021 with its first “#1 Indoor Arena” ranking for its capacity in the world according to Pollstar and VenuesNow, ranked among the top 10 venues in the U.S. regardless of size based on ticket sales, and was named “2021 Innovator of the Year” by Celebrity Access for its ViacomCBS residency.  In recent years, the “Most Beloved Venue in America” has also been the “#1 Casino Venue in the World,” “#1 Social Media Venue in the World” and a seven – time national award – winner for “Arena of the Year.”  For more information on concerts and other great events, visit Mohegan Sun. Tickets are $149.50, $99.50, $79.50, and $59.50 and go on sale Friday, April 29th at 10:00am via ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning Saturday, April 30th, subject to availability.

As one of the most sampled artists today, the impact of Daryl Hall and John Oates can be heard everywhere from Boy Band harmonies to Neo-Soul to Rap-Rock Fusion. Their influence extends from Rob Thomas and John Mayer to Brandon Flowers of The Killers, Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie, and Gym Class Heroes.

Daryl Hall and John Oates’ 1973 debut album, Abandoned Luncheonette, yielded the Top 10 single, “She’s Gone,” which also went to No. 1 on the R&B charts when it was covered by Tavares. The duo recorded one more album with their original label before they signed to RCA. Their tenure at RCA would catapult the duo to international superstardom.

From the mid-‘70s to the mid-‘80s, the duo would score six No. 1 singles, including “Rich Girl,” “Kiss on My List,” “Private Eyes,” “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do),” “Maneater,” and “Out of Touch,” from their six consecutive multi-Platinum albums. The era would also produce an additional five Top 10 singles, “Sara Smile,” “One on One,” “You Make My Dreams,” “Say It Isn’t So,” and “Method of Modern Love.”

By 1987, the R.I.A.A. recognized Daryl Hall and John Oates as the best-selling duo in music history, a record they still hold today.

In 2014, Daryl Hall and John Oates were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Toby Keith Returns to Mohegan Sun Arena

Tickets on sale Friday, April 29th

Singer, songwriter, and musician Toby Keith returns to Mohegan Sun Arena at 7:00pm on Saturday, July 30th for his 19th consecutive headlining tour.

Tickets are $85, $75, and a very limited amount at $25, and go on sale Friday, April 29th at 10:00am via ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning Saturday, April 30th, subject to availability.

The familiar maxim of the triple threat–singer, songwriter, musician–does not begin to cover it for Toby Keith, one of the modern era’s most complete self-directed hit makers. Keith’s most recent years are a remarkably accurate representation of his entire career. In 2021, he was bestowed the National Medal of Arts to honor his artistic achievements and contributions to the arts and culture of America, as well as inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and honored with the Academy of Country Music’s prestigious Merle Haggard Spirit Award for “following his own path, crafting great songs and epitomizing Merle’s spirit.” In October, he released a new studio album, Peso In My Pocket, that led with the single “Old School” which debuted at the highest radio entrance on Billboard’s airplay chart.

In 2018, he celebrated the 25th anniversary of his debut No. 1 single, “Should’ve Been A Cowboy” with the re-release of his debut album (remastered with the addition of three vault tracks). From the moment that song was released and shot up the charts to become his first No. 1, the engine driving everything has been the music. Toby has sold more than 40 million albums and has 32 No. 1 hit singles. He wrote a #1 hit every year for 20 straight years, including “Who’s That Man,” “Me Too,” “How Do You Like Me Now?!,” and “You Shouldn’t Kiss Me Like This.”

In 2018, Keith also released a new song, “Don’t Let The Old Man In,” which was inspired by a conversation he had with Clint Eastwood and was later featured in Eastwood’s movie, The Mule. In 2015, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York City.

Toby’s most rewarding experiences, however, have come from giving back locally, nationally, and abroad. His annual golf classics fund the Toby Keith Foundation and OK Kids Korral, a cost-free home for families of children dealing with critical illnesses. His 11 USO Tours to date have enhanced the lives of nearly 256,000 troops and military families in 18 countries with more than 285 events and have been recognized with the Spirit of the USO Award (2014). And when a tornado ravaged his hometown, Toby Keith was the face of the community and helped shoulder the cleanup with the 2013 OK Twister Relief Concert. Triple threat? How about singer, songwriter, musician, producer, entertainer, humanitarian, Oklahoman and patriot.
