What: One of Rock & Roll’s all-time powerhouse bands will be taking part in a special Walk of Fame ceremony outside the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Mötley Crüe will have a star placed alongside some of Mohegan Sun Arena’s most beloved talents, some of which include Bon Jovi, KISS, Rod Stewart, Toby Keith and Taylor Swift. Their upcoming show marks Mötley Crüe’s third performance at Mohegan Sun Arena and they will also become the 25th entertainer inducted into the Walk of Fame.

IN DETAIL: Mötley Crüe takes the Mohegan Sun Arena stage later in the evening on Saturday, May 18th, but hours before then, the band will be inducted into Mohegan Sun’s Walk of Fame. The special induction ceremony will be held outside the main entrance of the Arena, near the Mohegan Sun Box Office.
The award seeks to recognize those individuals who have made significant contributions to the success of Mohegan Sun as the Northeast’s premier entertainment destination. All of the individuals inducted into the Mohegan Sun Walk of Fame will have their name engraved on a plaque that will be permanently placed at the entrance to Mohegan Sun Arena.

Black Sabbath launched their world tour on April 20th with two shows in Auckland, NZ. They are now in Australia for performances in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide, before heading to Tokyo for the first-ever Ozzfest in Japan on May 12.
Along the overseas tour, Black Sabbath—Ozzy Ozbourne, tony Iommi and Geezer Butler– are previewing music from their forthcoming 13. On the new album, due out June 11th, the band that defined Heavy Metal picks up immediately where they left off with eight sprawling songs (five of them are over eight minutes) that possess every ounce of the maniacal vitality of the Grammy-winning, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees’ trailblazing work in the ’70s. Songs such as “End of the Beginning,” “Loner,” “Dear Father” and “Age of Reason” reinforce 13’s testament to the enduring relevance of Black Sabbath’s long-running reign. Two of the top gaming industry leaders in the world attempt to break GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® titles on April 27th at Mohegan Sun
Mohegan Sun includes three casinos and nearly 6,000 slot machines.
Mohegan Sun and Bally Technologies, Inc. are making history as they attempt to break not one, but two world records on Saturday, April 27th. The two gaming giants will attempt to break the records for the Largest Slot Machine Tournament and Most Slot Machines Running The Same Game Simultaneously.
The tournaments, which will be held in two sessions that morning, will be throughout Mohegan Sun’s three casinos: Casino of the Earth, Casino of the Sky and Casino of the Wind. Prizes will be awarded for the top 200 winners with $100,000 up for grabs in cash and Free Slot Play. The first place winner walks away with $50,000 cash! Guests can register that morning beginning at 7:00am in the Wolf Den. All participants will receive $10.00 in Free Slot Play; must be a Player’s Club member to participate.
Representatives from GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS will be on-site to validate the records. Over 5,000 people are estimated to participate in the event.

The “Light The Fuse Tour 2013” first leg kicks off on July 18th in Cincinnati and concludes on October 5th, after twenty-eight outdoor shows. The second leg begins on October 18th in Omaha before seventeen arena shows conclude on December 8th.
