Michael Bublé Swaps Concert Dates at Mohegan Sun

June 15th performance will be rescheduled to June 16th

Michael Bublé is postponing his Mohegan Sun performance on Wednesday, June 15th to Thursday, June 16th to accommodate all “Die-Hard” hockey fans in the Northeast, so they can view game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.  All tickets for the Wednesday night show will be honored for the Thursday night, June 16th performance at 7:30pm.  
At the chance you cannot attend the concert on this new date, refunds will be available at the point of purchase until 7:30pm on June 15th.  To secure your refund please contact the outlets where you purchased your ticket.  Please note, you must request your refund no later than June 15th.  Our apologies for any inconvenience the reschedule may have caused.

Country Superstar Trace Adkins Returns To Mohegan Sun

Country superstar Trace Adkins with special gust Kellie Pickler will bring their chart-topping hits to Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, September 4th at 7:30pm. 
Tickets are $45.00 and are on sale Saturday, June 11th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster.  Ticketmaster customers may log on to ticketmaster.com; call Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge By Phone number 1.800.745.3000; or visit any Ticketmaster outlet.  Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Sunday, June 12th, subject to availability.
Adkins’ first album, the platinum Dreamin’ Out Loud, produced three Top 3 hits, including his first #1, (This Ain’t) No Thinkin’ Thing.” More than twenty of his singles would hit the Top 20 and give him the platform from which everything else would follow.
           
His videos have been fan-voted “Top Video of the Year” three times on GAC, and “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” was voted #2 “Video of the Decade” by CMT. Trace became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2003, has been a guest on virtually every talk show on national television, and is currently celebrity spokesman for BC Headache Powder. He teamed with his friend Blake Shelton on the latter’s recent single, “Hillbilly Bone,” which went to the top of the charts and was named ACM “Vocal Event of the Year,” and, to top it all off, he was voted “Country’s Sexiest Man” by the readers of Country Weekly.

Glee Live! Swaps Concert Dates at Mohegan Sun and TD North

June 7th performance will be rescheduled to June 6th

Due to Boston Bruins advancing to the 2011 Stanley Cup the following Glee Live! concert dates have been swapped to accommodate their home game schedule. The performance at Mohegan Sun, originally scheduled for Tuesday, June 7th at 7:30pm is now scheduled for Monday, June 6th at 7:30pm

The Monkees To Take Part In Signings & Sightings Following Their Show In The Arena On Friday, June 10th

WHAT:  One of the most successful, top grossing music bands of all time, The Monkees, will be taking part in a special Signings & Sightings at Mohegan Sun on Friday, June 10th immediately following their performance in Mohegan Sun Arena.

2011 Billboard Music Awards Showcases Mohegan Sun’s All-Star Entertainment

Upcoming acts were recognized with prestigious awards on May 22nd

Mohegan Sun continues to provide the hottest acts in the recording industry and they were on display during the 2011 Billboard Music Awards on May 22nd.
 Upcoming artists who took home awards Sunday night were Cee Lo Green, Rihanna and Katy Perry. Cee Lo Green was awarded the “Viral Innovator” Award and Rihanna won “Top Radio Songs Artist of the Year” and “Top Female Artist of the Year.” Cee Lo Green and Rihanna bring their hit summer tour to Mohegan Sun Arena on July 22nd. Katy Perry won “Top Hot 100 Artist of the Year” and “Top Digital Songs Artist of the Year,” respectively. Perry will perform on June 25th in Mohegan Sun Arena.

MC Hammer Returns To Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den

Hip Hop will fill Casino of the Earth on June 24th

Hip Hop pioneer and innovator, MC Hammer returns to the Wolf Den stage for a live performance on Friday, June 24th at 8:00pm.
 MC Hammer made his first break on the 1987 album Feel My Power. This album gained the attention of recording moguls at Capitol Records which contracted Hammer for a reported record-breaking advance for a Rap artist at that time. In 1987, Let’s Get It Started was released and sold over three million records. Hammer’s follow-up, 1990’s Please Hammer Don’t Hurt ‘Em, solidified Hammer’s appeal with more than 20 million copies sold worldwide.  Hammer is currently co-founder of Social Media destination Dancejam and Executive Producer and creator of HammerTime, a new Real Life Family show on the A&E networks.
Wolf Den performances are free and open to the public. Must be 21 years or older to attend.
