New York strip steak, mashed Boursin Yukon potatoes, sautéed broccolini and three grilled shrimp tossed in a demi-glace for $100. Pair the delicious meal with a Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Martini for $16, or half bottles of Moët & Chandon for $40 each. BALLO Italian Restaurant is also kicking off the holiday a little early with dining specials that run from Friday, February 9th through Thursday, February 15th. Specials include Frutti di Mare, made of house-cured salmon, braised octopus, Sicilian blood orange and Calabrian chili for $22, and a special Surf & Turf made with an 8-oz. filet mignon, burro bianco poached lobster and roasted asparagus for $72. For dessert, guests can enjoy strawberry & white chocolate cannoli for $12.
Over at Todd English’s Tuscany, guests can enjoy an Arugula Avocado Salad for $16, made with baby arugula, sliced avocado, halved grape heirloom tomatoes, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese and topped with a refreshing lemon vinaigrette. Specials also include Lobster Ravioli with black truffle cream, fried shallots and chives for $40, and Steak Frites, complete with a 10-oz. hanger steak, skin-on fries and hollandaise for $45.
Those looking for a lavish dining experience can look no further than Michael Jordan’s Steak House. Roasted Oysters with Parmesan breadcrumbs, black garlic truffle butter and pickled beets are available for $22, and the main course is Chateaubriand for Two, featuring 30-day butter-aged 22-oz. filet mignon paired with a truffled pomme puree and mushroom bordelaise for $130. Toast to the night with Vollereaux Brut champagne for two for $25.
Next door at MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill, guests can enjoy a classic surf & turf, complete with a 7-oz. filet mignon, a 6-oz. lobster tail, sweet mashed potatoes, green beans and a red wine sauce for $65. Dessert is a rich chocolate lava cake served with chocolate ice cream and caramelized raspberries for $15. Sol Toro is also offering their delicious version of Surf & Turf, complete with a 10-oz. New York strip steak, shrimp enchilada and chipotle cream for $55. Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House is serving up their special Marry Me Chicken – sautéed chicken in a sun-dried tomato cream sauce with spinach, bell peppers, Parmesan cheese and fresh basil over a bed of spaghetti for $26. Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House’s version of Surf & Turf includes a 14-oz. New York strip steak topped with chimichurri sauce, a 6-oz. lobster tail, roasted potatoes and Brussels sprouts for $70. Dessert is Fried Ice Cream consisting of deep-fried ice cream coated in Corn Flakes, topped with strawberry compote, chocolate rings and whipped cream for $12.
A prix fixe dinner for two at Jasper White’s Summer Shack is $100 and starts with the choice of a shareable appetizer. Options include Cocktail Shrimp, Mussels with white wine, garlic and herbs, Rhode Island Style Calamari served with cherry peppers and garlic butter, or Sesame Crusted Tuna served with daikon radish and bang bang sauce. Next up is a choice of either a mixed green salad with house vinaigrette or a cup of chowder. For the entrée, options include Shack Baked Stuffed Shrimp served with lobster sauce and white rice, Grilled Tenderloin Steak Tip Frites topped with garlic butter and served with fries, Grilled Salmon with a side of roasted herb potatoes, grilled asparagus and beurre blanc, and Herb Roasted Chicken with mashed potatoes, broccoli and gravy. This world-renowned cast of performers will be accompanied by an original music score, including new twists on seasonal favorites such as “Deck the Halls,” “Winter Wonderland,” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” Singers, dancers, penguins, toy soldiers, and reindeer invoke the dreams behind a child’s eye on the most magical of nights. Festive, family-friendly event also kicks off the Countdown to Cheer program, filled with deals, food & beverage specials and jolly surprises
UNCASVILLE, CT (November 14, 2023) – Mohegan Sun is welcoming the holiday season with the First Annual Sun Patio Tree Lighting on Friday, December 1st. From 5:00pm – 7:00pm, guests of all ages can witness pure magic as Mohegan Sun lights up the night at the newly-renovated Sun Patio with an event hosted by shining star and true American legend, Frankie Valli! Delectable treats and complimentary hot chocolate, tea and coffee will be available. A decadent Baileys Chocolate Cocktail will also be offered at the Sun Patio Bar. Carolers will be on hand singing Christmas classics. Plus, the family can gather for a photo with Santa! This event is free and will take place rain or shine.
After his appearance at the First Annual Sun Patio Tree Lighting, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons will bring their iconic hits to Mohegan Sun Arena for “The Last Encores” tour at 8:00pm. Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are one of the most beloved groups in Pop music history, selling more than 175 million records worldwide. Known for songs like “Sherry”, “Walk Like A Man”, “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and more, the group continues to tour throughout the US and abroad to packed houses of thrilled fans from multiple generations. Mohegan Sun Arena has a holiday entertainment lineup that guests won’t want to miss. Shows include Pentatonix: The Most Wonderful Tour of the Year on Thursday, December 7th at 7:00pm, Straight No Chaser’s SLEIGHIN’ IT TOUR on Friday December 8th at 8:00pm, Bret Michaels with special guest Firehouse on Saturday, December 16th at 8:00pm, and Michael Bolton on Sunday, December 17th at 8:00pm. Hoey Rockin’ Holiday Show on Friday, December 1st at 8:00pm, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s Wild & Swingin’ Holiday Party on Saturday, December 9th at 8:00pm, Merry Christmas Darling: Carpenters’ Christmas on Friday, December 22nd at 8:00pm and The Cartells on Sunday, December 24th at 8:00pm. On Saturday, December 2nd, The Crafty Stir Café, located just off the Sky Hotel Lobby, has indulgent turtle cupcakes for $6.50 each. Todd English’s Tuscany is serving up a three-course, prix fixe menu for $50 per person on Monday, December 4th. TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge is offering “Five Golden Rings” for $35 on Tuesday, December 5th. On Wednesday, December 6th, Grey Goose martinis can be found at the Taughannick Falls Bar for $13 each. Guests can “swim” over to Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook to enjoy Two Roads Holiday Ale and Samuel Adams Winter Lager on Thursday, December 7th. Pints are available for $9 and a 21 oz. pour is $10.25. Over at Bobby’s Burger Palace, guests can try the delicious new breakfast menu for 15% off, paired with a Dulce de Leche shake for $8 until Noon on Friday, December 8th. Clay Pipe Cigar Bar is piping in on Monday, December 11th with a single barrel neat pour and cigar special for $11. Baileys Treat Cart | Those looking to kick the holiday season up a notch can keep an eye out for the Baileys Treat Cart! Guests can satisfy their sugary cravings with decadent cocktails and samples from Baileys. The cart’s first stop is at the Sun Patio Bar during the First Annual Sun Patio Tree Lighting, and special pop-ups will take place across property during Countdown to Cheer. Holiday POP! at Aquai | This pop-up bar located at Aquai in the Sky Tower hotel lobby will add sparkle to the holiday with delicious and unique cocktails! Holiday POP! at Aquai is open every Friday & Saturday during Countdown to Cheer from 4:00pm – 11:00pm.
Mix & Mingle: The Ultimate Big Little Holiday Party | Be it big or be it little; guests can bring their groups to an elite holiday party at novelle! On Friday, December 8th and Friday, December 15th at 5:00pm, novelle will host the gathering so guests can make merry memories without the hassle of planning. Sip on jolly spirits and groove to a live acoustic performer and DJ, all while dancing and delighting in holiday cheer! Delicious food options will be served.
