This Marks Tao Group Hospitality’s Second Partnership with Mohegan Sun and the Fourth opening of the Unique and Popular Beauty & Essex Restaurant
UNCASVILLE, CT (November. 17, 2022) – Mohegan Sun, one of the world’s leading integrated entertainment resort destinations, and Tao Group Hospitality today announced that Beauty & Essex will open inside Mohegan Sun in Fall 2023. The renowned dining experience at Beauty & Essex will elevate what is already an incredible and wide-ranging dining lineup at Mohegan Sun and will be located in Casino of the Sky near Starbucks.

Cirque Dreams Celebration
The New Year celebration kicks off on Wednesday, December 28th inside the Mohegan Sun Arena as the Cirque Dreams Celebration’s acclaimed and whimsical holiday spectacular will dazzle guests with a three-part show! As the nation’s premiere family holiday tradition, Cirque Dreams Celebration conveys the magic of the holiday season through a Broadway-style production infused with contemporary circus arts. Cirque Dreams Celebration will headline Mohegan Sun Arena for three nights straight, beginning December 28th.

Kicking off the action on Friday, December 30th inside Mohegan Sun’s legendary Wolf Den will be one of Connecticut’s premier five-piece tribute bands, Raise Your Hands: a Bon Jovi Tribute. Make your way to the Wolf Den at 8:00pm for a night full of Bon Jovi’s greatest hits including Livin on a Prayer, Bed of Roses, and You Give Love a Bad Name. Catch the best band in Rhode Island Blurred Vision on the Wolf Den stage Saturday, December 31st for two sets at 8:00pm and 11:00pm as they rock the crowd into the new year! This award-winning eight-piece band plays a wide variety of music to keep the energy going.

UNCASVILLE, CT (October 17, 2022) – Mark your calendars for Sun Wine & Food Fest 2023 at Mohegan Sun! Fans of fine wine and food can indulge their appetites for both during the 19th Annual Sun Wine & Food Fest (SWFF) beginning Thursday, January 26th and lasting through Sunday, January 29th. Sun Wine & Food Fest is one of the largest and most popular wine festivals in the Northeast, treating guests to a vast selection of wines and no shortage of delicious food pairings. Across the four-day SWFF 2023 there are 14 total events, including the return of the Grand Tasting, Celebrity Chef Dine Around, and Vintage Cru. New events this year include the Pappy Van Winkle Tasting where guests can taste one of the most sought-after bourbons of Pappy Van Winkle with a special, infused Macanudo cigar inside the Clay Pipe Cigar Bar. Sun Wine & Food Fest kicks off on Thursday, January 26th with three incredible events. First up is the TAO Japanese Whisky Dinner at 5:00pm and 6:30pm. Guests can enjoy top-shelf Japanese Whisky paired with a succulent three-course meal at TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge.

This event will feature live entertainment and a complimentary cigar.

Grand Tasting Preview
Guests can get a sneak peek of the Grand Tasting, one of Sun Wine & Food Fest’s signature showcases. This preview is held at the Earth Expo Center, and guests can sample a variety of wine, beer, and spirits while pairing their favorites with delectable dishes from some of the region’s top restaurants. The Grand Tasting Preview offers the opportunity to experience an exclusive preview of SWFF’s largest event while also getting an early peek at celebrity chefs showing off their skills.
On Friday, January 27th from 8:00pm to 10:00pm the Grand Tasting Preview will take place. Ticket prices are $100 in advance and $125 at the door. Tickets for designated drivers cost $40.

Sun Wine & Food Fest’s main event features over 1,000 different types of wine, beer, and spirits for guests to sample inside the 125,000 square-foot Earth Expo Center! WHAT: Mohegan Sun’s 9th annual Sun BrewFest weekend kicks it up another notch with a newly added Seltzer Social event on Friday, October 7th. Taking place in the beautiful Earth Ballroom starting at 8:00pm, guests will mingle and enjoy fall inspired spirits, local bites, and some of the most popular hard seltzers on the market. IN DETAIL: BrewFest weekend at Mohegan Sun is now a two-day festival with the added Seltzer Social event on Friday, October 7th. Tickets to Seltzer Social are on sale now for $40 in advance of the event and can be purchased HERE. Guests who already purchased a ticket to BrewFest between July 25th and August 8th will receive a discount code for Seltzer Social from the Mohegan Sun Box Office.
