Party on the Patio of Todd English’s Tuscany: Every Friday starting at 9:00pm, there is a party on the patio of Todd English’s Tuscany where guests can not only enjoy drink specials, but actually learn how to make the hottest drinks with a professional mixologist. A live DJ will also spin the tunes each week.
Show off your Slot Skills: Slot tournaments will be held in Casino of the Earth across from Birches Bar & Grill on May 27th and June 24th. Only Player’s Club members can enter this ladies-only contest where there is a guaranteed $10,000 prize pool.

Treat Mom to dining, shopping, entertainment and spa specials this Mother’s Day at Mohegan Sun
May 8th is just around the corner and that means it’s time to start thinking about how to treat Mom to a great time on her special day. Mohegan Sun may be just the place with fine restaurants, Elemis Spa specials, superb entertainment and endless shopping possibilities.
DINING OFFERINGS
Todd English’s Tuscany will prepare a four-course meal starting with Tuna Tartare with Spicy Mayo and Kettle Chips. It’s followed by a Cashew Crusted Lamb Chop served with Celery Salad and Parmesan Polenta. Next up will be the main course that features a succulent Petit Filet Mignon served over Seared Foie Gras, Silk Potatoes and Tuscan Demi. A classic Root Beer Float, along with baked-to-order Chocolate Chip Cookies, rounds out the meal. The special will be offered at $55.00 per person or $90.00 per person with wine pairings from 4:00pm to 10:00pm.
Birches Bar & Grill will offer a three-course meal that starts out with a choice of Soup Du Jour, Birches House Salad with Sweet-Herb Vinaigrette or a classic Caesar Salad. The entrée will be Surf & Turf that features a 6 oz. Filet Mignon & two Baked Seafood Stuffed Shrimp and will include delicious sides of Chef’s Vegetables and Rice Pilaf. A Heart-Shaped Strawberry Panna Cotta on a Cookie Crust topped with Chocolate Sauce will be served for dessert. The meal will be offered at $38.00 per person from 10:00am to 3:30am.
At Big Bubba’s BBQ, a special dinner consisting of Smoked Prime Rib with a Twice Baked Potato plus an additional side will be prepared for $21.95 per person.
Over at Jasper White’s Summer Shack, a Mixed Green Salad will be served followed by a 16 oz. Filet Mignon with a Chicken Lobster Tail served with Mashed Potatoes and Lobster Bordelaise. This meal is $50.00 per person and will be accompanied by a glass of champagne. Mothers will also receive a special Chocolate Covered Strawberry for dessert.
Sunburst Buffet will be offering a range of great Beef & Poultry, Seafood and plenty more. Some of the featured items include Penne & Grilled Chicken Alfredo, Shrimp & Asparagus Risotto with Shaved Parmesan, Veal Contadina, Seared Maple Mustard Glazed Salmon, a Breast of Chicken Francaise and Lobster & Roasted Tomato Shells “n” Cheese. Sides will include Fresh Mashed Potatoes, Sautéed Green Beans and Toasted Orzo & Almond Rice Pilaf. At 5:00pm, Prime Rib will also be available at the carving section. Todd English’s Tuscany will be offering a Chef’s Tasting Menu starting with Oysters Rockefeller with Truffle Cream followed by Rabbit Ravioli with Brown Beet Butter. A Kurabuta Pork Chop with Smoky Sweet Potato and Candied Bacon is next on the list, followed by Chocolate Cherry Ice Cream Bombe for dessert. This Tasting Menu will be available on Valentine’s Day for $55.00 per person or $90.00 with wine pairings.
At Birches Bar & Grill, a special Valentine’s Day 3-course meal will be offered both Sunday and Monday beginning at noon. Start the meal off with either Soup du Jour or the Birches House Salad, followed by Surf & Turf featuring an 8 oz. Sirloin Steak with two Seafood Stuffed Shrimp, Chef’s Vegetable and Rice Pilaf. And no meal is complete without dessert. Guests will enjoy “Love Thy Chocolate” a Molten Chocolate Heart Cake with Wild Strawberry Mousse on a Strawberry Coulis painted plate. The price is $29.95.
Big Bubba’s BBQ is offering a special meal to celebrate the holiday. Diners start with a complimentary glass of Korbel Champagne, followed by a Garden Salad and Filet Mignon with Stuffed Shrimp and Champagne Cream Sauce. Complete the meal with Cheesecake with Strawberry Sauce. This special Valentine’s Day offering is available for $49.95 per person. And at Geno’s Pub, get $3.00 glasses of champagne with the purchase of two entrées.
Over at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, guests can enjoy Margaritaville’s Dinner in Paradise for two. It includes choice of Soup or Salad and a selection of either Surf & Turf or Chicken Piccata. Couples will cap off the dinner with Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding to share. A glass of Wine or a House Margarita for each will also be offered. The Margaritaville Dinner in Paradise for two is priced at $62.00.
Those looking to celebrate a little early can head over to Lucky’s Lounge where guests can choose to share one appetizer of Bruschetta, Scallops wrapped in Bacon or Stuffed Mushrooms followed by their choice of a House Salad, Tasso Ham Clam Chowder or the Soup of the Day. Tomahawk Steak for two that offers Long Bone Prime Aged Rib Eye Steak dressed up with Worcestershire Reduction and Elephant Roasted Garlic. The dessert will be Long Stemmed Strawberries Dipped in Chocolate Ganache. The meal includes a complementary bottle of Cataregia Gran Reserva Tempranillo wine and is served at $149.00 per couple.

Valentine’s Day Weekend marks the first-ever performance by multi-platinum selling band Linkin Park in Mohegan Sun Arena. The show is set to kick off at 7:00pm on Friday, February 11th and tickets are $72.50 & $52.50.
On Saturday, February 12th, stand-up comic Stephanie Peters rolls into Mohegan Sun’s Cabaret Theatre. The night of comedy will feature Carie Karavas and special guest Judy Cianciotto. This special performance is presented by Treehouse Comedy Club and begins at 8:00pm.

New Year’s Eve at Mohegan Sun will be an event for everyone to enjoy with a variety of live entertainment, free giveaways, dining and shopping specials, Player’s Club promotions and exclusive parties at Mohegan After Dark’s Night Club, bars and lounges.
Giveaway/Countdown Celebration
Mohegan Sun will kick off the night of celebration at 4:00pm as complementary top hats, tiaras and noisemakers are distributed at Mohegan Sun’s coat check & valet locations throughout the property to all guests. The Old Farmer’s Almanac General Store will run a two hour special on New Year’s Eve from 10:00pm to Midnight as guests will receive 20% off all purchases, excluding clearance and promotional merchandise.
Kids Quest and Cyber Quest will offer can’t-miss events and activities for kids from 10:00am to 3:00am on New Year’s Eve. Kids Quest will feature crafts, games, hats and blowers, balloon drops and prizes periodically throughout the day. Cyber Quest will host a 15,000 ticket giveaway from 2:00pm to 11:00pm with 1,000 tickets being awarded per hour. At Midnight, one lucky winner will take home a grand prize of 5,000 tickets. Mohegan Sun is featuring tasty dining specials on December 24th and December 25th
With the holiday closing in fast, Mohegan Sun’s buffet and restaurants are set to offer some delicious menu specials for those looking to grab a bite out with family and friends.
On Christmas Day, Todd English’s Tuscany will offer a Chef’s Tasting Menu which begins with Porcini & Onion Zuppa accompanied by Brioche Croutons and Gruyère Cheese. Diners can then feast on a Herb-Seared Halibut with Garlicky Spinach, Sweet Potato Hash and Lemon Vinaigrette followed by Pastrami Rubbed Duck Breast with Confit Duck Leg and Wild Mushroom Risotto. Top off your meal with a Sweet Grappa-Laced Mini Sponge Cake with Fresh Berries and Maple Gingersnap Gelato. The four-course will be offered at $55.00, ($90.00 with wine pairings) per person and will be served from 11:30am to 10:00pm.
Also on Christmas Day, Birches Bar & Grill will feature a special 3-course meal that starts off with a Soup du Jour or a choice of Garden Salad with Sweet-Herb Vinaigrette or a classic Caesar Salad followed by Baked Stuffed Shrimp with Asparagus spears, Rice Pilaf and Lemon Beurre Blanc. Completing the meal is a Nutcracker Tart with Mixed Nuts, Chocolate Sauce and Candy Cane Bark. This will be offered at $30.00 per person.
On Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, Seasons Buffet will have a variety of selections available for guests. The carving board will include such selections like Sage & Apple Glazed Turkey Breast and Roasted Turkey Thighs. Horseradish Crusted Prime Rib and Pineapple & Clove Glazed Smoked Ham will also be available. Guests looking to enjoy delectable entrées can feast on Baked Stuffed Flounder, Roasted Orange Glazed Chicken and Spicy Thai Scallop & Vegetable Stir Fry. Candy Cane Cheesecake, Cherry Chocolate Chunk Bread Pudding, Nutcracker Tarts and a variety of pastries will be featured for dessert. The buffet will be offered at $16.98 (gratuity not included), plus tax and will be served from 11:00am to 10:00pm. Children can eat for $9.43 (gratuity not included).

This holiday season at Mohegan Sun, guests can find a one-stop destination for gifts and loads of entertainment and even a shot at winning a $250.00 gift card all by having the ugliest holiday sweater. In addition, The Shops At Mohegan Sun, for the first time, will be featuring a special toy store, The Toy Basket, featuring a range of great gift items.
THE TOY BASKET
This holiday season, Mohegan Sun is making it easier than ever to get your shopping finished with our very own holiday toy store. The Toy Basket is open now and features a variety of products for both young and old. Guests can shop for the popular Mattel products like Hot Wheels & Barbie along with numerous Crayola and Lego gifts. To help spark some great gift planning, we have come up with a top five toy list with all five products set to be featured in The Toy Basket.
1.) Pillow Pets
The half stuffed animal half pillow product known as Pillow Pets is one of the top gift ideas for young children this Holiday season and the Toy Basket will be well stocked. The fun, cuddly and inexpensive Pillow Pets can be purchased in everything from a cow, turtle, lady bug and even dolphins.

UGLY SWEATER CONTEST
Mohegan Sun really gets into the holiday spirit with the return of the “It’s Not You, It’s The Sweater” Contest. The contest is currently in progress and runs through December 8th at 10:00am. To enter, participants are asked to send a photo of themselves in an ugly holiday sweater to [email protected] and include their full name, email address and phone number. On December 9th, the collection of ugly sweater photos will be posted in an album on Mohegan Sun’s Facebook page where users can vote for their favorites by clicking the “like” option by the photo. The photo with the most “likes” as of 10:00am on December 15th will win a $250.00 gift card to The Shops at Mohegan Sun.
GIFT CARDS & UNITED WAY WRISTBANDS
Mohegan Sun gift cards are also available and can be purchased with cash or credit card at the Mohegan Sun Box Office or any Mohegan Sun apparel outlet including all Essential stores and Everything Under The Sun which are open 24 hours a day.
