Mohegan Sun is excited to once again partner with IGT, a global leader in the design, development and
manufacturing of gaming machines and systems products, to bring thrilling slot machines with new Center Stage Duo™ technology to the gaming floor. Ten IGT Ghostbusters™ and ten IGT Dark Knight™ penny machines are now located by Wombi Rock in Casino of the Sky.
“Who ya gonna call for an ectoplasmic good time?” — IGT’s new slot phenomenon- Ghostbusters Video Slot Machines, the first of its kind to hit the East Coast. During base game play, expanding wilds ooze with winnings and scatter wilds frighten. There’s definitely something here. Guests will watch for Slimer, demon dogs and other ghostly aberrations haunting the game with extra credits, wilds and multipliers. In the bonus gateway, players can enter a world of paranormal progressives where Slimer picks from several bonus events including five progressive levels displayed on a shared 55″ LCD screen. Video clip integration and symbol animations feature well-loved and familiar Ghostbusters movie clips and voice overs. The battle for Gotham city is about to take place in Casino of the Sky with IGT’s answer to the recent Batman phenomenon, The Dark Knight™ Video Slots. Guests can play the game as Batman or the Joker and be involved in immersive group play entertainment with strong thematic graphics and fan-favorite icons. Appropriately named, the game’s must-see Battle for Gotham community bonus plays out on the big screen and is a high speed car chase between Batman and Joker. Two very unique pick-style bonuses, Agents of Chaos and the Sonar bonus incorporate familiar scenes from the film with multiple winning outcomes. And in the Sleight of Hand bonus, swiping your hand across the screen flips over Joker’s cards to reveal many worthwhile surprises. Look for the popular bat signal to make an appearance as well as Two Face’s coin flip. Visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyANd79MATs to view an informative YouTube video of this machine.
Both the IGT Ghostbusters™ and Dark Knight™ penny machines use new Center Stage Duo™ technology which brings pure entertainment value and immersive experience in a two-seat configuration. They feature 55” overhead LCD screens positioned over two Universal Slant cabinets, custom light sequences and colors specific to the theme, optional half round marquee toppers, MegaFX Surround Chairs which fully enhances the player experience with 5.1 surround sound electronics and new Universal Slant with 3D capability.

Mohegan Sun to Roll Out iVIEW DM™, Elite Bonusing Suite™ to add excitement and enhance player experience
Mohegan Sun is pleased to announce the completion of a new games and systems contract with Bally Technologies, Inc. in Las Vegas. The contract includes Bally’s award-winning iVIEW™ player-user-interface on more than 6,000 gaming machines. A majority of the gaming machines will have iVIEW Display Manager™ (DM) with Elite Bonusing Suite™ designed to customize the gaming experience at point of play.
“In the today’s competitive gaming market, our complete focus is on our guests and providing them with new and exciting entertainment options,” said Paul Wright, Chief Marketing Officer. “The new iVIEW and iVIEW Display Manager with Elite Bonusing Suite will allow guests to participate in live races, play exciting bonus games and take part in second-chance offers, all without interrupting their experience.”
As part of the agreement, Bally will also deliver a lineup of new Bally ALPHA 2 Pro Series™ games, including several on the new Pro Curve™ cabinet, featuring the industry’s only curved LCD to emulate spinning reels on a video slot.
The iVIEW network is an interactive communication tool used by players to access such information as their loyalty club points, customized offers and bonus rewards while they’re playing. Bally’s Elite Bonusing Suite adds dramatic new levels of excitement and anticipation to the slot-play experience. The Elite Bonusing Suite applications deliver floor-wide, personalized promotions, second-chance-to-win events, and the ability for players to earn valuable rewards − all without interrupting their experience. These interactive solutions enable players to do things such as spin wheels, select and root for their favorite contest-driven horse, and participate in instant floor-wide slot tournaments.
“It has become clear to us that the best way to grow in this increasingly competitive market is to have the most innovative tools available and provide the best gaming experience for our guests,” said Mohegan Sun President and Chief Executive Officer Jeff E. Hartmann. “The revolutionary new Pro Curve product will have great appeal to our players.”
“We are proud of our long-term strategic partnership with the Mohegan Tribe,” said Bally Technologies’ Chief Executive Officer Richard Haddrill. “We are thrilled they have embraced our iVIEW network and Elite Bonusing technology for floor-wide deployment at their magnificent Connecticut resort. This investment, along with new Bally Pro Series Curve games, expands our partnership with Mohegan Sun and provides them a foundation for creating one-of-a-kind excitement in their competitive market.”
