The spa will serve as the main spa on property and join its outpost Earth Tower spa, which opened in February 2017, introducing a wellness concept that is technologically advanced, yet rooted in traditional Balinese healing and infused with holistic and New Age experiences.
A 16,015 square – foot healing house, Mandara Spa elevates the experience at Mohegan Sun through its heritage of guest care and unparalleled service. The 13 – room sanctuary for the senses features 2 couples’ suites, 8 single massage rooms, 3 esthetic rooms, men and ladies calming lounges, locker rooms with amenities (sauna, steam room and hydropool), a spa reception with retail area, full service salon and a fitness center. A new floor plan allows for creative spacing of the relaxation lounges and the addition of features with optimal health benefits such as the Salt Inhalation Therapy wall, while the staple ELEMIS Spa Therapy product brand is a mainstay used in many of the new menu of services. Steps from Mandara Spa & Salon is a fully renovated fitness center as well, bringing the total square-footage to 19,000 between these three revamped spaces.

The Mandara Spa Sky Tower experience includes new signature treatments such as the Power Poultice Muscle Release, Hot Mineral Body Boost and ELEMIS BIOTEC facials. The fall leg of the tour comes on the heels of an already incredible year for Maniscalco. In February he released his first book Stay Hungry, for Simon & Schuster making the national best-sellers list. He also hit the road on the Stay Hungry 2018 Tour with 50 shows in cities including Montreal, Canada, where he was dubbed “Stand Up Comedian of the Year” at Just For Laughs Festival, Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C. and Toronto, Canada, where he sold out (19,000 tickets) Toronto Air Canada Center all culminating with five sold-out shows at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall.

UNCASVILLE, CT (May 16, 2018) – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame has announced the field of teams and brackets for the 2018 Tip-Off Tournament presented by Citi. The annual NCAA men’s exempt tournament sponsored by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference will take place Friday, November 16th through Sunday, November 18th at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. Eight schools will compete in two four-team brackets with campus round games leading up to the Mohegan Sun Arena contests.
Teams scheduled to participate in this year’s Tip-Off Tournament are: George Washington University (Atlantic 10), College of the Holy Cross (Patriot League), University of Michigan (Big Ten), Norfolk State University (Mid-Eastern), Providence College (Big East), Siena College (Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference), University of South Carolina (SEC) and Stony Brook University (America East).
“With the recent extension of our partnership with Mohegan Sun and the addition of Citi as our presenting partner, we couldn’t be more excited about this year’s event,” said John L. Doleva, President and CEO of the Basketball Hall of Fame. “The Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament has cemented itself as one of the best early season competitions and we look forward to hosting this year’s teams and loyal fans.”
