There is no other place in the region to catch the amount and variety of entertainment that Mohegan Sun is geared up to bring this summer. Beginning with the recent sold-out Bruce Springsteen shows in late May, through August 31st, Hot Summer Fun at Mohegan Sun will host well over 100 shows. Fans of comedy, the Connecticut Sun, MMA, boxing and of course – live music, are in for one of the best summer lineups ever at Mohegan Sun.
This summer, Mohegan Sun Arena is set to host the likes of Katy Perry, Michael Bublé, Justin Timberlake, John Mellencamp, Queen + Adam Lambert, Lionel Richie with CeeLo Green, Kevin James, Jake Owen, Alan Jackson and The Moody Blues! And the ever-popular Wolf Den will bring in Ambrosia with John Ford Coley, Austin Webb, Hoobastank, Warrant, Dustin Lynch, The Bacon Brothers and Grand Funk Railroad this summer, among many more performers. Treehouse Comedy brings some of the funniest touring stand-up out there to The Cabaret Theatre every Saturday evening and don’t miss the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun with multiple home games inside Mohegan Sun Arena throughout June, July and August!

Over one million dollars in prizes to be awarded as well as car giveaways, celebrity sightings, pool parties and the hottest names in entertainment
UNCASVILLE, CT – Things are heating up this summer at Mohegan Sun with the launch of Hot Summer Fun. Now entering its 17th year, the celebrations, which kick off June 23rd and run through August 31st, will feature over one million dollars in prizes, car giveaways, fireworks displays, as well as the hottest entertainment and nightlife.
Special Events
Mohegan Sun is making a bang this summer with Hot Summer Nights with their biggest rooftop events of the summer. Open to all ages, the fun kicks off at 6:00pm and includes games for kids of all ages and carnival food favorites, as well as an area for guests 21+. These special parties will be hosted on Saturday, July 26th and Saturday, August 30th. NOTE: Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Other various events will be taking place throughout the summer including Mohegan Sun’s Signature Events series. Confirmed events to date include Winning Authors with Sherrilynn Kenyon, author of Born of Fury, on Tuesday, July 1st and Brad Thor, author of Act of War, on Thursday, July 17th.
Mohegan Sun will also be home to the 2014 Connecticut Reebok Spartan Race on Saturday, June 28th. This is the first time the Spartan Race has come to Connecticut. Over 5,000 participants have already registered. Spots are still available; to sign up, visit spartanrace.com.
On The Ball Mondays
Starting June 23rd, guests can test their luck on the Skee-Ball® PowerPlay Bonusing game by simply playing their favorite slot machine. From 10:00am to 8:00pm, each time a guest earns three Status Points, they will receive a Skee-Ball® game. Winners are guaranteed to win up to $1,000 in Free Slot Play instantly. Guests must have their Momentum card properly inserted while playing any slot machine in order to be eligible.
Take Two Tuesdays
Mohegan Sun will have you seeing double every Tuesday throughout the summer. Beginning Tuesday, June 24th, Momentum card holders playing their favorite slot machines will earn double points from 6:00am to Midnight. Not a gamer? Not a problem. Every half hour from Noon to 2:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm, one lucky Momentum card holder playing their favorite slot machine will have a chance to enter the Cash Cube containing $5,000 cash! Throughout the summer, Mohegan Sun will be giving away up to $500,000 with Ca$h Dash Wednesdays!

What’s better than a car giveaway? How about 10! Throughout Hot Summer Fun, Mohegan Sun is giving away a car each Thursday beginning June 26th. Each week, one lucky Momentum member playing their favorite table or slot machine from Noon to 8:00pm will randomly be selected to receive a new Fiat 500C valued at $25,000! In addition, guests playing at the same slot machine bank or table will receive a $50.00 Mobil Gas Gift Card.
On Thursday nights, things heat up with the return of GLO. Charity concert featuring Country Duo Montgomery Gentry, slated for Friday, September 26th at the Wolf Den!
Last year, Mohegan Sun once again teamed up with Mothers Against Drunk Driving and WCTY for a great event that featured Country star Maggie Rose. This year, the partnership is back and this time Montgomery Gentry is calling on fans to come out to enjoy some great live music and take part in the benefit. ‘MADD About Montgomery Gentry’ will take place in the Wolf Den on Friday, September 26th at 8:00pm. This is the first time that a MADD event will be hosted in the Wolf Den, while it is the 6th year in a row that Mohegan Sun, in conjunction with WCTY and MADD, have hosted MADD. All proceeds from the event benefit MADD. Shelly Martinez, of WCTY, will be giving a special message before the show as well.
Tickets are $50.00 and go on sale Friday, July 18th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster.com and at the Mohegan Sun Box Office. VIP tickets are also available for $100.00 and will include preferred seating as well as a Meet & Greet with the band members of Montgomery Gentry.
All ticket holders will also get access to the WCTY pre-party, taking place at The Cabaret Theatre from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, which will include food, drink and live entertainment!
Admission to the Wolf Den will begin at 7:00pm. Prior to the start of the concert, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction prior to and during the performance, taking place at the Spring Gateway, just outside the Wolf Den and near the Box Office.

Legend’s current tour, “An Evening with John Legend: The All of Me Tour,” wraps June 28th in Woodinville, WA and features John in an intimate and acoustic setting, highlighted by guitar/vocal accompaniment as well as a string quartet. Voyage Continues: Timeless Flight tour, with new U.S. dates announced for their upcoming summer 2014 schedule. The tour, which begins in Syracuse, New York on August 1st, will continue through September and heads to Mohegan Sun Arena for a Wednesday, August 6th show beginning at 7:30pm.

If the past eight years had been truly amazing, the success was to be eclipsed upon the release of Bublé’s 4th CD, Crazy Love in 2009. The album debuted at #2 on Billboard and in the second week, hit #1 in addition to achieving #1 status in both Canada and Australia.
