IN DETAIL: Straight from the ballroom, Karina Smirnoff and Aaron Carter of Dancing With The Stars get set to “wow” fans during two exclusive Reality Check events at Mohegan Sun. On January 3rd, the dynamic dancing duo light up The Cabaret Theatre stage with two chances to see their scorching performance, followed by a Q&A and autograph session at 1:00pm and 6:00pm.
And if that’s not enough fancy footwork, don’t miss Dancing With The Stars Live at Mohegan Sun Arena on January 8th and 9th.
Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to time restrictions, signing personalization or photos taken with personal cameras are prohibited. Headshots will be given out at the event.

Todd English’s Tuscany gifts guests with a four course Christmas Day meal from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. The $55.00 per person ($90.00 per person with wine pairings) dinner features a wood roasted pear salad, veal ravioli in a mushroom thyme cream sauce and a pan roasted crab topped halibut. For dessert indulge in a seasonally delicious eggnog trifle tiramisu.
On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, BALLO Italian Restaurant features two main dishes. Choose between a $59.00 per person Surf & Turf featuring a 14 oz. New York strip steak, 6 oz. butter poached lobster tail with slow roasted tomatoes or a $29.00 per person red wine risotto, duck confit, figs and robiola.
The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House offers baked honey glazed ham with butternut squash and the vegetable of the day paired with a caramel eggnog martini for $34.00 on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The restaurant opens at 11:30am on Christmas Eve with karaoke at 9:00pm and 5:00pm on Christmas Day.
On Christmas Day, Seasons Buffet rolls out an elaborate Christmas menu for all to enjoy. Seasons will offer an array of delicious options including smoked honey mustard ham, orechiette seafood fra diavalo, wild mushroom risotto and more! Prime rib available after 5:00pm.
Hash House A Go Go will serve a prime rib dinner on Christmas Day for just $19.99. Mohegan Sun’s featured New Year’s Eve party pops off at 10:30pm inside the Uncas Ballroom on Thursday, December 31st. This party is guaranteed to be unforgettable with dancing and music by Rob Pisani & Rob Necega, an open bar, champagne toast at Midnight and 1:00am breakfast buffet. Tickets start at $100.00 and are available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office and Ticketmaster.com starting Friday, November 20th at 10:00am. The night of the event, tickets can be purchased for $150.00 at the door. This is a 21+ event; VIP bottle service seating areas available for purchase. Proper attire is required and subject to management discretion.
Countdown Party in The Shops at Mohegan Sun
Family, friends and all in between are welcome to celebrate the New Year in The Shops at Mohegan Sun from 9:00pm to 3:00am on Thursday, December 31st. The Shops come alive with music by DJae Mêlée, a countdown to Midnight capped off by an incredible pyrotechnic display. Hats, horns and tiaras available at Summer and Winter Coat Checks, Sky Valet and various other venues starting at 5:00pm (limited quantities, available while supplies last, first-come, first-served).

VISTA Lounge transforms Wombi Rock into your NYE hot spot at 10:00pm with beats by DJ Price. Tickets for VISTA’s party are $50.00, price subject to change based on availability. Dance into the New Year during a super-hot NYE party inside Avalon. From 10:00pm to 2:00am, Clinton Sparks will provide the music for the final celebration of 2015. Tickets start at $50.00 per person and increase to $75.00 per person based on availability. Tickets will be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Friday, November 20th at 10:00am. At the Wolf Den, the best Disco Funk group around, Boogie Wonder Band, will be performing free shows at 8:00pm and 11:00pm. Come early as seating is limited. All guests must be 21 or older.

Literature lovers unite this January and February when two Winning Authors events visit Mohegan Sun to rein in 2016, each featuring New York Times bestselling authors.
On Saturday, January 23rd meet Karen White, Lauren Willig and Beatriz Williams, authors behind the historical novel The Forgotten Room when they are featured in a Winning Authors event. The trio will be hosting a live discussion inside The Cabaret Theatre at 3:00pm then signing copies of their popular book in The Shops concourse beginning at 4:00pm.
Then on Friday, February 12th meet Lisa Gardner when she is featured in her own Diva Fridays edition of Winning Authors. Gardner will be featuring her brand new psychological suspense novel Find Her, just three days after it’s released. This event will begin with a 7:30pm live discussion in The Cabaret Theatre followed by her book signing at 8:30pm in The Shops concourse.

Meet New England’s own boxing great, Micky Ward, on Saturday, November 14th in Bow & Arrow Sports Bar as he takes part in a free Signings & Sightings event. The junior welterweight, whom the movie The Fighter was based, will be signing autographs for fans beginning at 9:00pm.
ABOUT MICKY:
Micky captured both the WBU Intercontinental Light Welterweight title and the WBU Light Welterweight title during his career in boxing. He also won the respect and admiration of many fans worldwide. The song “The Warrior’s Code” by the Punk Rock band Dropkick Murphys is dedicated to Micky Ward and his photograph appears on the cover of the album. Ward’s trilogy with Arturo Gatti, the first of which took place at Mohegan Sun Arena, would become the cover of the video game Fight Night Round 3, on both the PlayStation 2 and XBOX versions of the game. To top it all off, the movie The Fighter starring Mark Wahlberg as Micky Ward and Christian Bale as Dicky Eklund recounts Ward’s climb to fame. Ward is managed by the Prince Marketing Group.
