IN DETAIL: Meet actor, vlogger and New York Times bestselling author Joey Graceffa, as he hangs out with fans on Tuesday, October 11th. Get a pre-signed copy of his highly-anticipated YA novel, Children of Eden and participate in a special photo meet and greet. Visit The Shops concourse to see Joey Graceffa In Real Life during an exclusive Winning Authors event.
Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. This event is bracelet-only. To gain entry to the Joey Graceffa photo meet and greet, a copy of Children of Eden must be purchased at Spin Street on the day of event. Sales will start at 8:00am. Upon purchase, buyer will receive a bracelet which will gain them entry to the photo meet and greet. One bracelet per book purchase. Buyer must have a bracelet in order to gain entry to photo meet and greet line. All books will be pre-signed by Joey Graceffa and distributed immediately following individual’s photo meet and greet. No other items will be signed. Attendees are asked to leave bags and any sort of luggage at coat check or in their vehicles. These items will not be allowed through the photo meet and greet area.

Mohegan Sun rolls out the red carpet for a celebrity packed 20 year celebration
UNCASVILLE, CT (September 8, 2016) – Mohegan Sun’s 20th anniversary celebrations continue to grow when some of the hottest celebrities stop by this October.
First up in the star-studded line up is a Special Edition Reality Check featuring stars of The Young & the Restless by Soap Opera Festivals Inc. on Sunday, October 9th. Meet Christel Khalil (Lily Ashby), Christian Jules Le Blanc (Michael Baldwin), Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters) and Sean Carrigan (Dr. Ben “Stitch” Rayburn), participate in a live Q&A and even score a photo op with your favorite cast members.
Tickets for this Special Edition Reality Check are $25.00 and are on sale now at the Mohegan Sun Box Office.
The excitement starts early on Friday, October 14th with a day full of unique entertainment to kick of the 20th Anniversary celebration. Get your morning started with WFAN, Sports Radio 66 and 101.9 FM’s Boomer and Carton as they broadcast live from the Wolf Den starting at 6:00am. The celebrity sightings continue with a free Special Edition Reality Check featuring Jojo Fletcher. The most recent Bachelorette will participate in a live Q&A and photo meet and greet at 7:00pm in The Shops concourse. Later that night, turn the “Lights Down Low” as Country Pop singer and reality TV star Jessie James Decker performs at The Cabaret Theatre at 8:00pm.

On Saturday, October 15th, Mohegan Sun goes big in honor of an amazing 20 years when Clive Standen of Vikings stops by for a free Special Edition Signings & Sightings event in The Shops concourse at 7:00pm. Then the excitement continues with the Ballroom Red Carpet After Party. Celebrate with Chrissy Teigen, LL Cool J and many other great celebrities at this ballroom blowout! This epic, star-studded affair kicks off at 10:00pm with an exclusive red carpet roll out.

UNCASVILLE, CT (August 30, 2016) – The first-ever World Caddie Matches took place on Monday, August 29th, from Mohegan Sun Golf Club in Batlic, CT. In the competitive “Ryder Cup” style match play tournament, in which some of the top US pro caddies
took on an International team, the US took home the win, 26 to 7.
The unique golf event, presented by Beckmen Law Firm and former PGA pro Tour caddie, Michael Collins of ESPN, gave some notable caddie’s, all impressive golfers in their own right, a chance to finally battle some of their peers they see regularly along the PGA tour season.
42-year veteran caddy of the PGA tour, Mike “Fluff” Cowan (Jim Furyk) was on-hand competing, as was John “Long Socks” McClaren, who caddies for Paul Casey, who could also be seen helping his Caddy on every shot at Mohegan Sun Golf Club on Monday.
PGA Tour professionals Billy Hurley III, Charley Hoffman and Johnson Wagner also attended World Caddie Matches in support. Other notable Caddies that played were J.P. Fitzgerald (Rory McIlroy), Joe LaCava (Tiger Woods), Ted Scott (Bubba Watson), Mark Fulcher (Justin Rose), Brett Waldman (Charley Hoffman), Daisuke Shindo (Hideki Matsuyama), Damond Green (Zach Johnson), Christian Donald (Brendan Steele), Paul Tesori (Webb Simpson) and Gareth Lord (Henrik Stenson).
As The World Caddie Matches were winding down Monday, one of the caddies especially instrumental in organizing the event, Steve Hulka, mentioned that they raised well over the goal of $25,000 for the organization, K9s For Warriors. K9s For Warriors is dedicated to providing service canines to warriors suffering from Post-traumatic Stress Disability, traumatic brain injury and other challenges that may face men and women returning from service. Their goal is to empower them to return to civilian life with dignity and independence.
“This was a bigger success than we ever dreamed, and it could not of been accomplished without the help from my wife, Mary Hulka, and all of the other amazing folks with the PGA, Beckmen Law, Mohegan Sun and all of the caddie’s that took part. We can’t wait to bring the event back to Mohegan Sun in the future,” said PGA caddie and co-caption of the US World Caddie team, Steve Hulka.
Mohegan Sun Golf Club VP & Director of Golf Operations, Philip Krick, Jr also added, “We made a lot of good friendships through this special World Caddie Matches golf event. The caddies were amazing, K9s For Warriors is a great cause, and seeing PGA pros like Paul Casey and Charley Hoffman cheering on their caddies and friends, made for a very memorable day at Mohegan Sun Golf Club.”

Uncasville, CT (August 30, 2016) – Calling all beer lovers! Let the good times flow at Mohegan Sun’s 5th annual BrewFest located in the Uncas Ballroom on Saturday, October 1st. Step into a brew lover’s paradise and sample over 150 beers including craft brews, micro brews, imports, domestics and ciders while enjoying rockin’ live entertainment, fun games, an epic cornhole tournament and delicious signature food from local restaurants. Plus, don’t miss the all new evening event, “A Toast to New England” a special tasting featuring the region’s best local brewers!
Grand Tasting
Introduce your tastebuds to over 150 of the best beers around during the grand tasting on Saturday, October 1st. Explore a wide variety of breweries pouring out 2 ounce samples of their favorite beers for guests to enjoy in souvenir, mini pilsner glasses. Try and find your favorite as you taste your way through Craft Beers, Microbrews, Imports, Domestics and ciders. Live entertainment keeps the party going all day long inside Mohegan Sun’s Uncas Ballroom.
The grand tasting runs from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Tickets to the grand tasting are $30.00 each.
A Toast to New England
Taste the best New England has to offer with a special New England Beer Trail Tasting. Meet local brewers and try their fall classics in this limited tasting session. The ticket price also includes a free slice of Frank Pepe’s Napoletana Pizza and clam chowder from Jasper White’s Summer Shack! A Toast to New England takes place in the Uncas Ballroom’s upper lobby and runs from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
Tickets to A Toast to New England are $50.00 per person.
Cornhole Tournament
Enjoy a beer and toss some bags at the Sun BrewFest Cornhole Tournament! Choose your partner wisely and head to the Sun BrewFest site to register. Buy-in to the Cornhole Tournament is $100.00 and includes entry to the BrewFest grand tasting plus an exclusive VIP tasting preview.
Tickets for Sun BrewFest go on sale Friday, September 2nd at 10:00am at the Mohegan Sun Box Office and Ticketmaster. A portion of all ticket prices will go to the Channel 3 Kids Camp. Tickets will be required for entry to all events. All guests in attendance must be 21+.
