As the sun sets on an illustrious career, friends, family and fans gather to honor a true sports icon, Rob Gronkowski. Lauren and Lindsay are tasked with throwing a retirement party that is a fitting tribute to this larger-than-life personality. The event is the first party in the Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook, which comes with its own set of logistical hurdles. With great skill, Mohegan Sun’s Team Members create a legendary send-off for one of the greatest Patriots of all time!
- Episode 2: Shaken or Stirred. Bartender Competition Anyone?

The most buzzworthy kicks, in addition to rare classics, will take centerstage inside Earth Expo at Mohegan Sun; Both general and VIP tickets allow guests to sell and trade sneakers
UNCASVILLE, CT (May 15, 2023) – Beginning at Noon on Sunday, June 4th inside the 125,000 square foot Earth Expo center, The Sneakerhead Invasion, hosting various sneaker, streetwear and collectable vendors, will arrive in full force at Mohegan Sun. Organized by The Urban Collab, the latest and greatest from Nike, Air Jordan, Adidas and more will be up for grabs for sneakerheads of all stripes.
“Hosting a large-scale sneaker convention is something we have wanted to add to the calendar for our Expo center for some time, and we’re so happy to have the Urban Collab bringing their amazing 1-day Sneakerhead Invasion event to Mohegan Sun later this spring,” -said Kevin Barosso, Dir. of Convention & Sales for Mohegan Sun. “Not only does this convention allow for selling and trading of some of the most sought-after sneakers on the market, but across 200+ vendors, the event will also feature unique collectables, streetwear, headwear and more.”

Mohegan Sun is pulling back the curtain at BBQ Fest for guests to be a part of select judging times throughout the weekend. Participating World Food Championship teams will offer $2 BBQ samples all weekend long, and guests can feast throughout the day before voting for the best in show. Voting will be open from Saturday at 11:00am until Sunday at 3:00pm and the winners will be announced on Sunday at 4:00pm.
In addition to the People’s Choice competition, guests can indulge at the Rib and Wing Challenges. All participating WFC Team competitors will be given racks of ribs and loads of chicken wings to prepare in any flavor they wish. For a $5 entry, guests can try any five ribs or wings and vote for their favorite. Winners will be announced during Sunday’s Awards Ceremony at 4:00pm. The Rib Challenge Tent is open to guests on Saturday from Noon – 2:30pm, and the Wing Challenge Tent is open on Saturday from 6:00pm – 8:30pm. Mohegan Sun has been recognized
by two high-profile industry organizations, first winning the Platinum MarCom Award for the new “Team Achievement” category from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), and second, winning four Platinum Viddy Awards, for excellence in Video Production.
AMCP winners are evaluated on their organizational impact, reflecting a team that brings recognition to the company through industry or community endeavors and far surpasses goals and expectations. The AMCP MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievements, honoring excellence in marketing and creativity, and the hard work, and generosity of industry professionals. The other organization, the Viddy Awards, started recognizing winners in 1995, when it was founded by a group of videographers, editors, producers, writers, and directors.
