UNCASVILLE, CT (October 22, 2024) –The Dropkick Murphys are returning to Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday, March 13th when the St. Patrick’s Day 2025 Tour hits the award winning venue. The Menzingers and Teenage Bottlerocket will join as supporting acts during the 7:00pm show.
Tickets go on sale Friday, October 25th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning on Saturday, October 26th, subject to availability.
Dropkick Murphys frontman Ken Casey said, “2025 is year 29 of Dropkick Murphys — and we’re excited as hell to bring our annual St. Patrick’s Day Tour to 14 cities leading into our hometown stand in Boston!! We are honored to have two amazing bands joining us for the entire run, The Menzingers and Teenage Bottlerocket, with a few more friends joining us in Boston; we’re stoked to be playing shows with Hot Water Music, The Kilograms, The Bouncing Souls, Rebuilder, and Cody Nilsen on our home turf!”
During the 2025 trek, fans will have the chance to hear Dropkick Murphys’ classics, along with their recently released single “Sirens” – and possibly other new songs from their next album, slated for release via the band’s Dummy Luck Music / [PIAS] sometime in 2025. Fueled by an infectious, hard-hitting guitar riff and frontman Ken Casey‘s raw, intense, and commanding vocals. “Sirens” – which is now charting at Rock, Alternative and Active Rock radio – is a rallying cry for unity, urging fans to rise against those who exploit the working class. The song was produced by longtime DKM collaborator Ted Hutt and was mixed by Ted Hutt and Ryan Mall.

In other news, Dropkick Murphys recently wrapped their acoustic journey with Woody Guthrie to get back to raucous, electric performances, and capped that chapter off with their documentary – This Machine Rising — a movie about working class music. The film chronicles Dropkick Murphys’ journey with the lyrics of Woody Guthrie, including the writing, recording and touring surrounding Dropkick Murphys’ two acoustic albums This Machine Still Kills Fascists and Okemah Rising.Both albums blow the dust off unrecorded lyrics from the Woody Guthrie archive and set them to the new music and melodies of Dropkick Murphys, shining a light on issues of Woody’s day that we still grapple with in modern times. Born and raised in the small coal-mining town of Pittston, Pennsylvania, Shawn’s love for music led him to begin imitating his musical idol, Elvis Presley. He performed in the famous Poconos region followed by a tour of Canada where he entered and won the $5,000 prize in the “Worldwide Elvis Competition” in Montreal. This caught the attention of the award-winning Las Vegas show, “Legends in Concert” where for many years he starred as ‘Elvis’ in their Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas, Branson and Atlantic City show rooms. Each year he stars in the “Elvis Tribute Artist Spectacular Birthday Edition Tour.”, an extravaganza with Elvis’ own musicians, back-up singers, and friends, in major venues in the US and headlines the Elvis Tribute Artist World Tours.
Shawn has released 5 CDs. He has performed with Elvis’ closest friends, musicians and singers such as JD Sumner and the Stamps Quartet, The Jordanaires, The Imperials, DJ Fontana, Charlie Hodge, Jerry Scheff, The Sweet Inspirations, Joe Guercio, Jerry Schilling and Joe Esposito.

Event to feature a special Q&A session with Boston legends Manny Ramirez, Johnny Damon, and more
Guests are invited to Mohegan Sun’s novelle to step back in time and relive one of the most iconic moments in baseball history at Reverse The Curse: 20 Year Anniversary! From 8:00pm – 9:00pm on November 9th, those in attendance will be able to listen in on a Q&A with Manny Ramirez, Johnny Damon, Mike Timlin, Alan Embree, and Keith Foulke as they relive the historic and career defining 2004 post-season.
Twenty years ago on October 27, 2004, Ramirez, Damon and the rest of their team won the most prominent game of the professional baseball season and broke their team’s 86-year long curse! To get there, this team of big bats and special pitchers needed to go through rivals out of New York, and did so in unprecedented fashion coming back from an 0-3 deficit. Celebrated broadcaster Jayme Parker of Outside the Fame, will dive into it all, and help give Boston fans a glimpse into the past and present as these former champions share stories, reminisce and go behind-the-scenes!

UNCASVILLE, CT (October 10, 2024) – The Shed Restaurant, officially opened on Wednesday, October 9th in Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Earth, across from Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana. This new offering is the brainchild of co-founders John Tunney & John Rieger from BALLO Italian Restaurant.
“Over the last few years, we’ve been working really hard to grow our non-gaming business throughout our property with new restaurants and creating immersive dining experiences,” said Jeff Hamilton, president and general manager of Mohegan Sun. “I believe when The Shed opens, people are going to want to come here to visit The Shed, not come to Mohegan Sun and eat there because they happen to be here. As we choose food & beverage operators and as we open new restaurants that is always our goal – to put a great restaurant inside of a great property.”
“We spent time in Long Island at the other Shed Restaurant locations and we got really excited about how they deliver food that is comfortable and casual, but they do it with the same quality we’ve all come to love from BALLO. The Shed Restaurant has created more than 100 new jobs, including a culinary team led by Chef Roberto Baez. Chef Roberto’s menu offers a bright take on American comfort food and features a robust list of specialty brunch, lunch and dinner menu items — from the indulgent to the healthful – with the full menu available all day. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available, and many menu items can be customized to be a vegan dish, making The Shed Restaurant the only restaurant at the property to offer vegan dining. The Shed’s enticing brunch, lunch & dinner menus are only made better by the ultra-friendly team and rustic beach-chic ambiance that incorporates warm textured woods, pops of color and intriguing works of art.
Local contractors involved in the project include electric work by Native Sons Ltd., based in Plainville, CT and interior design and architecture completed by id3a, based in Glastonbury, CT.
The Shed is an 8,785 square-foot space, complete with a 2,150 square-foot dining area, and a 3,150 square-foot scratch kitchen plus walk-in units. The space seats 205 guests, including 11 seats at a full bar. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis with the ability to join a text-based waitlist at the door.

Live at Mohegan Sun Arena with Scotty McCreery & Ashley Cooke
UNCASVILLE, CT (October 10, 2024) – Multi-platinum, 5X AMA award-winning entertainer Kane Brown today announced details for his highly anticipated new tour, The High Road Tour. Named after his upcoming new album–The High Road–coming January 24, 2025, the 23-city tour includes back to back 7:00pm shows at Mohegan Sun Arena on May 2nd and May 3rd. Brown will be joined by special guests Scotty McCreery & Ashley Cooke.

Brown first revealed details of his fourth studio album The High Road yesterday on socials, where he shared the album cover, album title and album release date with fans. The announcement came on the heels of Brown’s performance of his massive international hit “Miles On It” on the American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special Sunday evening (October 6th) and his recent honor at the People’s Choice Country Awards (September 28th), where Brown was recognized with the “Country Champion Award” for his contributions to the Country format and performed “Fiddle In The Band.” Both “Miles On It” and “Fiddle In the Band” are featured on Brown’s upcoming album, along with his new song, “Backseat Driver,” which Kane is set to debut tonight on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (October 10th). Written by Jacob Davis and Jordan Walker and produced by Dan Huff, “Backseat Driver” will be available Friday along with the album’s pre-order/pre-save here.
