Straight No Chaser Announce the “I’ll Have Another…World Tour”

Atlantic Records recording group Straight No Chaser has announced early details of the “I’ll Have Another…World Tour.” The North American leg – which celebrates the 20th anniversary of the a cappella group’s formation in 1996 and first show at Indiana University – begins October 14th at Reno, NV’s Grand Theatre and will be swinging through Connecticut for a live performance in Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, December 2nd at 7:30pm.

Tunica-Biloxi Gaming Authority Confirms Agreement with Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority (MTGA)

The Tunica-Biloxi Gaming Authority, the owner and operator of the Paragon Casino Resort, announced today that it has retained Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority (MTGA), operator of Mohegan Sun properties throughout the United States, to provide gaming, hospitality and entertainment consulting services to its Marksville facility, beginning April 30, 2016. MTGA operates two of the most successful gaming and entertainment destinations in the United States, Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and Mohegan Sun Pocono in Pennsylvania. MTGA is credited with advancing the once struggling Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey, into record profitability over the four years that is has served under its management and investment contract. MTGA’s venture with the Cowlitz Indian Tribe of Washington State will introduce the $500 million casino project that will be the West Coast’s premier gaming, dining, entertainment and meeting destination slated to open in 2017. MTGA was recently awarded a license from the Korean Government to develop and build a first-of-its-kind integrated resort at Incheon International Airport in Korea.

UConn Dominates Field at Till Duty is Done Invitational at Mohegan Sun Golf Club

The UConn men’s golf team honored a team of visiting military veterans by giving them a performance to remember. Hosted at Mohegan Sun Golf Club in Preston, CT, the tournament honors Til Duty Is Done, a Connecticut-based organization that helps returning military veterans with housing, employment and education. The event featured the unique aspect of a competing team consisting entirely of veterans from the Veteran Golfers Association (VGA), playing alongside the 12 college teams.

Mohegan Sun Adds Final Piece Of Glass To The New Earth Tower

During a special ceremony today, leaders of the Mohegan Tribe and Mohegan Sun celebrated a major milestone in the construction of the $130 million Earth Hotel. Taking place on the construction site, in attendance were Mohegan Tribal Chairman, Kevin “Red Eagle” Brown, Mohegan Sun President & General Manager, Ray Pineault as well as the Mohegan Tribal Council and Council of Elders.
