Medical Emergency Forces Nickelback To Cancel North American Dates For 2015 No Fixed Address Tour, Chad Kroeger To Undergo Vocal Chord Surgery

Multi-platinum selling rock band NICKELBACK is forced to cancel all remaining dates of the second leg of the 2015 No Fixed Address North American tour due to lead vocalist Chad Kroeger being diagnosed with an operable cyst on his voice box. Kroeger will undergo surgery in 3 weeks following vocal rest ordered by doctors. This include’s Mohegan Sun Arena’s August 15th date.

New Kids On The Block Become The 30th Inductee Into Mohegan Sun’s Walk Of Fame

Earlier this afternoon, Donnie, Joey, Danny, Jordan and Jonathan of New Kids on the Block entered the Box Office forecourt outside of Mohegan Sun Arena to accept their honor as the 30th Walk of Fame inductees. Senior Vice President of Sports & Entertainment for Mohegan Sun, Tom Cantone and Mohegan Tribal Chairman, Kevin “Red Eagle” Brown, spoke briefly through roars and screams as they introduced one of Mohegan Sun’s most beloved and all-time selling acts. “Thank you Tom. We love you all and we love Mohegan Sun Arena every time we play here. Mohegan Sun is also the best because it’s halfway between our hometown and New York!” said Donnie Wahlberg as the cheers grew even louder.

Best of 90’s Concert featuring Boyz II Men, Wilson Phillips, En Vogue & Coolio To Hit Mohegan Sun Arena This September

Mohegan Sun had a huge throwback weekend back in February when The Pointer Sisters, Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, Club Nouveau played the Arena as part of the 80’s Extravaganza. Come September, the music is moving on to another great decade when Mohegan Sun Arena’s Best of 90s Concert rolls in, featuring Boyz II Men, Wilson Phillips, En Vogue and Coolio! The lineup will bring some of the biggest 90s hits to the stage, the likes of Wilson Phillip’s “Hold On,” Boyz II Men’s “MotownPhilly,” En Vogue’s “Free Your Mind” and Coolio’s “Fantastic Voyage.”
