UNCASVILLE, CT — Have a frighteningly good time this Halloween 
at Mohegan Sun with costume parties, signature drinks and a special screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show featuring the Teseracte Players.
Kick off the spooktacular fun with a special screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show featuring the Teseracte Players in The Cabaret Theatre at 11:45pm on Friday, October 25th. Be there as the screening of the film comes to life with character impersonations from the Teseracte Players. Admission is free and for guests 21 years of age or older.
Then, on Saturday, October 26th, see former Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter, as she performs a free concert in the 350-seat Wolf Den beginning at 8:00pm. Fashion enthusiasts will have the chance to buy and sell high-end luxury handbags while enjoying an exclusive cocktail party
Mohegan Sun will be teaming up with the leading source in luxury gently-used handbags, Fashionphile for Designer Diva on Friday, November 8th. This lavish cocktail party will be held at VISTA Lounge from 8:00pm to 10:00pm and will include a complimentary-themed party drink, luxury bags on display available for purchase and a chance to win a high-end designer handbag.
Guests will also have the opportunity to bring in their gently used Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci and Hermes bags to exchange for cash. Fashionphile will be buying and selling luxury bags at Mohegan Sun’s Convention Center during the event. Each exchange will earn participants a free entry into the party.
The following day on Saturday, November 9th, Fashionphile will host another buying and selling event in the Convention Center from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Platinum-selling Rock band, Imagine Dragons announced their Into The Night Tour today with a date set for Mohegan Sun. Produced by Live Nation, the Into The Night Tour will take the band to over 20 cities across North America. The Globetrotters were the first organization in sports and entertainment to let fans vote on rules when the team introduced the concept last year. Since the fan response was so overwhelming, the team is doing it again – but with a major twist.
The 2014 online ballot includes three never-before-seen revolutionary rules:
- Hot Hand Jersey – Both teams will have a “Hot Hand Jersey” they can pass among each other. The player who is wearing this jersey will receive double points on made baskets.
- Make or Miss – The quarter begins with only two players on the court for each team. When a team scores, a teammate may enter the game. When they miss, the player missing the shot must leave the court, leaving his or her teammates shorthanded.
- Trick Shot Challenge – Via three challenge flags per team, each coach can challenge the other team to make a trick shot. If the team makes the trick shot, they earn five points. If they miss, the other team receives five points.

These renowned authors will discuss their work and sign copies of their books for fans on November 9th and 15th
For the first time in Winning Authors history, Mohegan Sun will be hosting back-to-back events during the month of November. On Saturday, November 9th, New York Times bestselling author Mary Kay Andrews will be discussing her latest book, Christmas Bliss, in time for the holiday season. A live discussion will take place in The Cabaret Theatre at 4:00pm followed by a book signing in The Shops at Mohegan Sun at 5:00pm.

Mohegan Sun Arena awarded Best Arena of the Year & Tom Cantone wins Entertainment Executive of the Year
Mohegan Sun took home two awards at the G2E Global Gaming Conference’s inaugural Casino Entertainment Awards in Las Vegas last night. Mohegan Sun won Best Arena of the Year, topping MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas and Thunder Valley Casino Resort Amphitheater in Lincoln, California and Senior Vice President of Sports & Entertainment, Tom Cantone, took home the prize for Entertainment Executive of the Year. Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den was also nominated for the Best Theater of the Year.
This was the first ever entertainment awards ceremony at the G2E with votes tabulated nationwide.
“Accepting this award is the pinnacle of recognizing the best entertainment team in the nation, who all have ownership of building our entertainment product into one of the elite programs and venues in the world” said Tom Cantone, Senior VP of Sports & Entertainment.
