Rock & Roll legends to play the Arena on May 9th
Live Nation announced today that due to overwhelming demand, the highly acclaimed RUSH Clockwork Angels Tour will return to North America including a May 9th date at Mohegan Sun Arena.
Tickets are $96.00 and $76.00 and go on sale Monday, January 28th through Ticketmaster at 10:00am. Rush’s 20th studio album, Clockwork Angels has earned rapturous accolades by fans and press alike since its release June 12th of last year. Describing Clockwork Angels as “an extremely accomplished piece of music composed and performed absolutely flawlessly” by The Quietus; Q magazine called the taut songcraft “utterly engaging”; Rolling Stone declared “the power-trio interplay could put guys half their age in the burn ward”, while All Music Guide succinctly summed up “Clockwork Angels demonstrates why, after 36 years, Rush’s fan base continues to grow. Starting February 6th, Wine Wednesdays at Mohegan Sun offers guests a classier night out
Don’t look at Wednesdays as the glass is half empty any longer. Treat yourself to a classier night out as Mohegan Sun unveils the all-new Wine Wednesday program. Wednesdays at Mohegan Sun will turn into a vino lover’s dream with featured wines from all around the globe each season, delicious dishes to accompany them and other various specials being offered each week.
Wine Wednesdays kick off on February 6th with Tastings & Tapas on the Tuscany Patio from 6:00pm – 7:30pm. A $20.00 price per person allows guests to indulge in mouthwatering tapas along with three different varieties of wines. While you taste and sip, a wine expert will lead a discussion and Q&A segment about the featured wines. Tastings & Tapas will be held on the first Wednesday of every month, with advanced tickets available for purchase at Todd English’s Tuscany.
Ready for dinner? Every Wednesday during the month, select restaurants throughout the property will offer traditional wine-pairing dinners. To start, Todd English’s Tuscany will be offering a four-course Tuscan dinner paired with flavorful wines for $95.00 and Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain will be offering a four-course American Regional Cuisine dinner paired with California wines for $75.00. Reservations are not required.
After you and your guests have your fill, be sure to stop by VISTA Lounge at Wombi Rock every Wednesday to sip some bubbly while listening to the sweet sounds of a live Jazz Ensemble from 8:00pm – 11:00pm. Born and raised in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts, Sully Erna has been a musician since the age of 3, where he began his journey as a drummer initially. Back for the first time in 2013, Mohegan Sun’s favorite bingo game is back
With the New Year comes a new $15,000 up for grabs at Mohegan Sun’s first Bingo After Dark of 2013! Back for its 5th time on Saturday, February 9th, this after-dark bingo game set against an ultra hip neon backdrop is a long way from your Grandma’s bingo.
The doors open at 8:00pm and the event kicks off at 10:00pm inside Mohegan Sun’s Uncas Ballroom. The cost is $20.00 per person and covers eight games, a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage, entertainment and more. Prize pools vary from $1,500 to $3,000 per game with a total of $15,000 in cash being awarded and a DJ will be on-hand to spin tunes between rounds. A cash bar will also be available.

Reprise Records’ Green Day have announced new dates of their “¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRÉ!” Tour. The full-scale North American tour will now Rock Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, April 6th at 8:00pm.
“We want to thank everyone for hanging in with us for the last few months,” said the members of Green Day. “We are very excited to hit the road and see all of you again, though we regret having to cancel more shows.”
Tickets are still valid for the new date. At the chance you cannot attend the concert on this new date, a refund of your ticket purchase is possible via the point of purchase.
