The band will sign copies of their latest album, Rize of the Fenix and talk with loyal fans in The Shops at Mohegan Sun.

Celebrity Weekend features New England’s Biggest Celebrity Golf Event and Concerts
One of golf’s most celebrated charity events—the Ahmad Rashad Celebrity Classic—returns July 26th-29th 2012 at Mohegan Sun.
NFL All-Pro, Emmy Award-winning sportscaster and College Football Hall of Famer Ahmad Rashad hosts the 2012 Ahmad Rashad Celebrity Classic. More than 40 stars of sports and entertainment will participate. The event includes Celebrity Pro-Ams, Celebrity Team Championship open to spectators and a new charity concert in the Mohegan Sun Arena.

Enjoy poolside nightlife in style with the brand new GLO At The Pool night club launching on Thursday, June 28th with scheduled appearance by LMFAO
Mohegan Sun is adding to its long list of popular nightlife destinations this summer with the opening of the all-new GLO at the Pool night club. Located on the third floor of Mohegan Sun Hotel; the new nightlife offering will open on Thursday, June 28th at 9:00pm with an appearance by LMFAO after their concert in Mohegan Sun Arena and a performance by Clinton Sparks.
Beginning Thursday, June 28th, every Thursday and Saturday night all summer long, Mohegan sun will be hosting New England’s only nighttime pool party; GLO at the Pool. Sponsored by Heineken & Bacardi, GLO at the Pool will feature cabanas, fire pits, cash bars, celebrity appearances and more. Party goers can dance outside under the stars on the poolside terrace located adjacent to the pool. Live DJs will keep the party going with DJ Flip spinning on Thursdays and DJ Valentina taking the reins on Saturdays. Equipped with four cabanas that can be rented for bottle service, GLO at the Pool is sure to be hottest and most exclusive summertime party in the northeast. GLO at the Pool’s grand opening is on Thursday, June 28th and will feature a scheduled appearance by LMFAO following their show in Mohegan Sun Arena. Peter Gabriel first came to international prominence with the success of Genesis, a band that he co-founded while still in school. ABOUT DEREK HOUGH: Derek Hough, the only 3-time champion in franchise history of the hit ABC show Dancing With The Stars, started dancing in his hometown of Salt Lake City, UT, at age 11. One Direction made history when their debut album Up All Night entered the U.S. Billboard 200 chart at #1 with over 176,000 copies sold. ABOUT AARON HERNANDEZ: Aaron Hernandez grew up and played high school football in Bristol, Connecticut. In 2006 he amassed 1,807 receiving yards, 24 touchdown catches and set a state record of 376 receiving yards in one game, a number that also marks the seventh best game total in high school history. After a brilliant college career playing tight end for the Florida Gators, the New England Patriots drafted Hernandez in the fourth round. In his first year with the team he caught 45 passes for 563 total yards and 6 touchdowns. This most recent season saw the athletic tight end grab 79 catches to go along with 1,473 yards and 7 touchdowns. It was this 2011-2012 season that he and fellow Patriot, Rob Gronkowski, combined for one of the most jaw dropping offensive seasons ever produced by two tight end teammates in history with well over 2,000 combined receiving yards, 24 total touchdowns and a whopping 169 receptions.
ABOUT NIKO KOUTOUVIDES: A Plainville, Connecticut native, Niko Koutouvides went on to play for the Purdue Boilermakers after a very impressive high school career. As a linebacker, his 296 tackles, five interceptions, four sacks and four fumble recoveries in his 3 years at Purdue were more than enough to get the attention of the Seattle Seahawks. After a few stops across the league, the Patriots acquired Koutouvides in August of 2011 and he became a staple on special teams throughout the year and in the post-season.
