Linkin Park’s Performance At Mohegan Sun Has Been Cancelled
Mohegan Sun regrets to announce that Linkin Park has been forced to cancel their show tonight in Mohegan Sun Arena. Lead vocalist Chester Bennington is ill and under doctor’s orders to refrain from performing. The band sincerely regrets this unavoidable cancellation and apologizes to fans for any disappointment caused.
Customers that purchased tickets at the Mohegan Sun Box Office or Ticketmaster outlets should return to the point of purchase for refunds. Purchases made online at ticketmaster.com or Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge by Phone number will be refunded automatically.

Country superstar Keith Urban, renowned for his critically-acclaimed live concerts, has announced dates for his “Get Closer 2011 World Tour.” The tour, with very special guest Jake Owen, is expected to make over 50 stops across North America, and will make its way to Uncasville, CT for a performance in Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, July 9th at 7:30pm.

TSO founder Paul O’Neill has been working on a concept he likes to call “Rock Theater.” The material for “Rock Theater” began when Paul O’Neill and TSO set their sights on one of the most beloved and important composers the world has ever seen, Ludwig van Beethoven.
TSO creator / writer / producer Paul O’Neill explains, “I was always fascinated by Beethoven. Beethoven did not come from a rich family, made his way to Vienna which, at that time was the capitol of the musical world, and by the time he was 21, was recognized as one of the greatest piano players in the world by the likes of Mozart. By the time he was 25, he realized he was going completely deaf and if he had just crawled into a corner and given up on life, nobody would have judged him harshly. Pop superstar Katy Perry has officially announced dates for her upcoming California Dreams World Tour, in support of her platinum-selling sophomore album Teenage Dream. Katy will kick off the California Dreams tour on February 20th in Lisbon, Portugal, traveling throughout Europe, the U.K., Australia and Japan before hitting Canada and the U.S. The North American leg of the tour sponsored by Schick® Quattro for Women® will start on June 7th in Atlanta, GA and will run through August 14th with two shows in Katy’s hometown Santa Barbara, CA. As announced last week, Katy will perform at this year’s Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 13th. The Heart & Soul 2011 North American Tour stops in Uncasville on March 27th
Rod Stewart & Stevie Nicks have joined forces for one of the most anticipated musical events of the year, The Heart & Soul Tour. The tour will feature both artists performing all Rock & Roll sets from their incomparable catalogs of hits, backed by an incredible band of musicians and stage production. The tour will be stopping at Mohegan Sun Arena for one night only on Sunday, March 27th at 7:30pm.
Tickets are $175.00 & $125.00 and go on sale Saturday, January 22nd at 10:00am through Ticketmaster.
