Def Leppard Postpones Winter 2016 Tour Dates

Def Leppard has postponed the band’s remaining dates on their Winter 2016 tour due to illness. All shows from February 2nd through February 17th, including Mohegan Sun Arena’s February 13th concert, will be rescheduled. The previously postponed dates in Greensboro, NC (January 27th) and Orlando, FL (January 30th) will also be rescheduled. Details on new dates will be announced soon. Mohegan Sun Arena’s Rescheduled Meghan Trainor Concert For September 7th Has Been Cancelled


UNCASVILLE, CT (August 11, 2015) –Mohegan Sun Arena regrets to announce that Meghan Trainer’s Mtrain Tour date set for Monday, September 7th at 7:00pm has been cancelled due to re-aggravated damage to her vocal chord.

An official statement from Trainor was made available today as well:
“To My Fans – I was being careful and taking precautions, but I have hemorrhaged my vocal cord again. I got bronchitis & have been coughing a lot & that pushed it over the edge. Sadly, I will need to cancel the remainder of my tour and get surgery to finally fix this once and for all. I am devastated, scared and so sorry. I LOVE touring and seeing your beautiful faces every night. I am determined to do what it takes to get better and come back stronger than ever. I love you, and thank you for all of your understanding, love and support.”

Medical Emergency Forces Nickelback To Cancel North American Dates For 2015 No Fixed Address Tour, Chad Kroeger To Undergo Vocal Chord Surgery

UNCASVILLE, CT (June 23, 2015) – Multi-platinum selling rock band NICKELBACK is forced to cancel all remaining dates of the second leg of the 2015 No Fixed Address North American tour due to lead vocalist Chad Kroeger being diagnosed with an operable cyst on his voice box.  Kroeger will undergo surgery in 3 weeks following vocal rest ordered by doctors. This include’s Mohegan Sun Arena’s August 15th concert.

Nickelback cancelled shows over the weekend, hoping the additional rest and treatment would help but an unfortunate diagnosis from Kroeger’s doctor revealed a more serious scenario.  ““I am sorry I have to interrupt the party this summer and I am definitely not thrilled with the prospect of being silent for many weeks to come when I could be out there playing for our fans” shared Chad Kroeger. “I am relying on my doctor and his team to help get my voice back in good form as quickly as possible.”
Kroeger’s medical team anticipates a full recovery and the No Fixed Address tour will resume with their previously scheduled European run, in Helsinki, Finland on September 30th.
Nickelback are expected to return to North America in 2016.

Naia Kete Performance Scheduled For Thursday, March 27th In The Wolf Den Has Been Cancelled

Naia Kete’s performance scheduled for this Thursday in the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun is cancelled. Mohegan Sun apologizes for the inconvenience. There will be no performance in the Wolf Den for March 27th.
Wolf Den performances are free and open to the public. Must be 21 years or older to attend.
