On Saturday, June 8th and Sunday, June 9th, celebrate the LGBTQ+ community with various fun-filled Pride activities including the Connecticut Sun Pride Game, Pride on the Sun Patio, Cocktails & Queens in The Cabaret Theatre, Pride @ Night and Drag Bingo Brunch Presented by Troupe429!
Connecticut Sun Pride Game| Mohegan Sun Arena | Saturday, June 8th | 1:00pm
The Connecticut Sun will host its Pride Game, presented by Jordan’s Furniture, against the New York Liberty. Fans can show their Pride, loud and proud, while enjoying a special halftime performance. The first 3,500 fans will receive a crossbody bag sponsored by Jordan’s Furniture. Pride will take over the newly renovated Sun Patio with local businesses and support organizations that highlight the LGBTQ+ community! DJ Gadget will keep the energy going with upbeat and energetic music throughout the day. From 3:30pm-4:30pm get ready to witness an electrifying lip sync battle hosted by Mohegan Digital that features Comix Kings and Queens! Kenya Mone Heart, who was crowned Queen of the Sun Patio in 2023, goes head-to-head against Mia E. Z’Lay, Ambrosia Black, Frankie Cyanide, and Arya Black before a special guest performance by The Darling Divas hosted by Ryan Leckey! Host Kenya Mone Heart will bring an extensive lineup of guest drag queens, headlined by Coco Montrese from RuPaul’s Drag Race and featuring Ivanna, Moxie Angel, and Xiomarie LaBeija!

Get ready for two days of fun-filled activities for all ages!
UNCASVILLE, CT (March 15, 2023) – Join Mohegan Sun for Family Days during school vacation week! This event will take place at Mohegan Sun Arena on Monday, April 10th and Tuesday, April 11th from 11:00am – 5:30pm on both days. Family Days is open to the public and admission is free for all attendees. Children will enjoy a wide range of free activities from exclusive basketball activities put on by the Connecticut Sun to cupcake decorating with Mohegan Sun’s executive pastry chef, Chef Lynn. Guests must be 21 years of age to enter the Wolf Den. Guests may line up no sooner than three hours before the show. Come early, limited seating is available on a first come – first served basis. One person can hold four spots in line, but seats will only be given to those present at the time of seating.
Mohegan Sun’s Party on the Patio is the best spot for over-21 fun every Friday night from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. The Summer Entrance will transform into a space where guests can enjoy drink specials like $5 beer and Grey Goose cocktails, fire pits, food trucks, and so much more while listening to some of the best tribute bands around.
All guests must be 21 or older and have a valid ID. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. However, feel free to bring your own chairs! Guests are not permitted to bring coolers or outside food/beverages. Bands and food trucks subject to change.

Three Connecticut Sun players were named to the AT&T WNBA All-Star 2021
roster on Wednesday afternoon. Brionna Jones, Jonquel Jones and DeWanna Bonner will head to Las Vegas, NV on July 14 to compete in the 17th WNBA All-Star game. The game will be broadcast on ESPN at 7pm EST.
Brionna Jones, who received the first All-Star selection of her career, is averaging a career-best 14.4 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per game in a career-high 31.1 minutes of action per game. Drafted eighth overall in the 2017 WNBA Draft, Jones has solidified herself as one of the top frontcourt players in the league. In 2020, the 6-3 forward saw her first career start and has been in the starting line-up for every contest she has seen action in since.
Jonquel Jones, is due to make the third All-Star appearance (2017, 2019) of her career in 2021. The 6-6 forward is currently leading the Sun in points per game (21.7) and rebounds per game (10.9). Averaging a career-high in points and a second-best in rebounds, Jones sits third in the WNBA for points per game and first in rebounds per game. In 2017 and 2019, when Jones was also selected as an All-Star, she led the league in rebounding both years.
Bonner, a 12-year WNBA veteran, will also be representing the Sun in this year’s All-Star Game. The 6-4 forward is currently second on the team in points and rebounds per game. Averaging 16.1 points and 7.4 rebounds. Bonner will appear in her fourth All-Star game.
Those selected as all-stars will compete against the USA Basketball Women’s National Team ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Team WNBA will be coached by Co-Head Coaches, Lisa Leslie and Tina Thompson.
