Mohegan Sun Employees Donate More 20,000 Non-Perishable Food Items For New London, CT Food Center
2016-03-08Last month, Mohegan Sun ran a Battle of the Departments Food Drive where all of the food donations go to benefit United Way’s Gemma E. Moran Labor Food Center out of New London, CT. Mohegan Sun is proud to report that 23,003 items of non-perishable food were collected in just one month, to help feed community members in need. A participation level that Sharon Peccini, Senior VP for United Way of Southeastern Connecticut, said was, “Possibly the best employee food drive we have ever seen.”
