Mohegan Sun rings in the New Year with Cirque Celebration, an original and exclusive stage production from Neil Goldberg and the famed Cirque Dreams entertainment brand. This unique celebration will be performed in the Mohegan Sun Arena and presented in-the-round offering guests a 360 degree view of the action. The performance is scheduled for Tuesday, December 31st at 7:00pm.

Cirque Celebration is a 75-minute heart-pounding, non-stop colorful explosion of athleticism, acrobatic audacity and festive imagination. Platinum-selling Rock band, Imagine Dragons announced their Into The Night Tour today with a date set for Mohegan Sun. Produced by Live Nation, the Into The Night Tour will take the band to over 20 cities across North America. Alternative rockers The Naked And Famous will join the Into The Night Tour as special guests. It all goes down on Saturday, March 1st beginning at 7:30pm at Mohegan Sun Arena.

Mohegan Sun Arena awarded Best Arena of the Year & Tom Cantone wins Entertainment Executive of the Year
Mohegan Sun took home two awards at the G2E Global Gaming Conference’s inaugural Casino Entertainment Awards in Las Vegas last night. Mohegan Sun won Best Arena of the Year, topping MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas and Thunder Valley Casino Resort Amphitheater in Lincoln, California and Senior Vice President of Sports & Entertainment, Tom Cantone, took home the prize for Entertainment Executive of the Year. Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den was also nominated for the Best Theater of the Year.
This was the first ever entertainment awards ceremony at the G2E with votes tabulated nationwide.
“Accepting this award is the pinnacle of recognizing the best entertainment team in the nation, who all have ownership of building our entertainment product into one of the elite programs and venues in the world” said Tom Cantone, Senior VP of Sports & Entertainment.
Cantone was recently named to Senior Vice President of Sports and Entertainment for Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority (MTGA), operators of Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in Pennsylvania and Mohegan Gaming Advisors, managers of Resorts Hotel Casino in Atlantic City.

Marc Anthony has been awarded countless Standard gold and platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Beyond that, his influence was significantly recognized when he was included in the Top 10 List of influential New Yorkers compiled by New York Magazine.
Earlier this year, Anthony returned to the recording studio to work on his first project of original music in the tropical genre in nearly a decade. In April 2013 his brand new single “Vivir Mi Vida” produced by Marc and Sergio George, occupied the #1 position on Itunes, Billboard charts and radio on a national level just hours after its release.
