UNCASVILLE, CT (August 24, 2026) – Raise a glass and get ready to celebrate as Sun BrewFest returns to Mohegan Sun on Saturday, October 3rd, bringing an afternoon of craft beverages, exceptional food offerings and festival fun to the Uncas Ballroom, a new location for this year’s event from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
Discounted tickets are on sale now through a special pre-sale, providing guests with one week of early access before the general public on-sale begins at 10:00am on Monday, August 31st. Tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster or at the Mohegan Sun Box Office.
This year’s festival kicks things up a notch with a tasting experience brimming with craft beers, hard seltzers and specialty beverages, and complemented by delicious chef crafted bites. Guests can also explore offerings from regional breweries, beverage makers and local favorites while discovering new pours, unexpected pairings and flavors worthy of a second sample. All tastings are included with admission, giving attendees the opportunity to discover new favorites and enjoy a unique culinary experience throughout the afternoon.
Attendees can enjoy live music from popular Connecticut band The Rakes, participate in fun festival games, test their strength during fan-favorite Stein Hoisting Competitions, learn new moves during line dancing sessions and compete for cash and prizes in the exciting Cornhole Tournament, presented in partnership with Real Wicked Events.
Guests are also encouraged to cast their votes in the highly anticipated People’s Choice Food Competition, where participating food vendors will compete for the title of festival favorite. Voting closes at 5:45pm, with the winning vendor announced at 6:00pm.
Cornhole Tournament with Cash Prizes
Competitive players can take part in Sun BrewFest’s Cornhole Tournament for a chance to win impressive prizes. Advanced registration through Eventbrite is required, and tournament participants will receive access to the exclusive VIP Hour prior to general admission.

First Place: $500 cash, a complimentary future hotel stay at Mohegan Sun and two tickets to a Mohegan Sun Arena show (subject to availability)
Second Place: $300 cash
Third Place: $200 cash
Tournament tickets will be distributed at Will Call on the day of the event.
Stein Hoisting Competitions Return
Guests looking to prove their endurance can step up to the Stein Hoisting Stage, where winners from each competition session will receive a sponsor-donated swag bag. Participation is free with admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Signups will take place at the Stein Hoisting Stage prior to each session.

Designed to complement the restaurant’s Jewelry Box and bold aesthetic, the large-scale artwork serves as a colorful backdrop for photos and a new visual landmark within Mohegan Sun.
