UNCASVILLE, CT (September 1, 2017) – The Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) announced its highly-anticipated Winter Tour 2017. Over the past 20 – plus years, Trans-Siberian Orchestra has become a critically-acclaimed, multi-platinum, musical powerhouse, and its annual winter tours a beloved, multi-generational holiday tradition. 2017’s tour, a completely updated presentation of TSO’s unforgettable “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve,” is set to begin on November 16th and will visit more than 60 cities, for 100-plus performances, before concluding on December 30th. Mohegan Sun Arena is proud to welcome TSO when they return to Uncasville for two shows on Sunday, November 26th at 3:00pm and 8:00pm.

TSO’s tour will be a celebration of the art and accomplishments of the lauded group’s late creator/composer/lyricist, Paul O’Neill, and his inimitable creation, which he dubbed “Rock Theater.” Prior to his untimely passing, O’Neill worked tirelessly with his close-knit team preparing an exciting new take on “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” for the 2017 tour. Beginning November 16th, fans will experience this exciting stage spectacle, including new awe-inspiring effects, and staging, certain to make the story even more engaging for fans.
Based on TSO’s multi-platinum DVD and long running PBS fundraiser, The Ghosts of Christmas Eve, the Rock opera features such enduring fan-favorites as “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24,” “O’ Come All Ye Faithful,” “Good King Joy,” “Christmas Canon,” “Music Box Blues,” “Promises To Keep” and “This Christmas Day.” 2017’s tour will also boast a rousing second set containing more of TSO’s greatest hits and fan-pleasers.

Mohegan Sun set for December 9th; Tickets available this Friday, August 25th
UNCASVILLE, CT (August 23, 2017) – Three-time Grammy Award-winning and multiplatinum selling artists Pentatonix have announced A Pentatonix Christmas Tour, which kicks off in Chicago on December 3rd with three nights at The Chicago Theatre and concludes just before Christmas with three shows at New York City’s Beacon Theatre. The concerts will be the group’s first to feature songs from their three hugely successful holiday albums. A Pentatonix Christmas Tour comes to Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, December 9th at 7:00pm.

To coincide with the tour, Pentatonix has also announced a deluxe version of 2016’s platinum-selling, chart-topping album – A Pentatonix Christmas. A Pentatonix Christmas Deluxe will be released on October 20th via RCA Records and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.
Additionally, Pentatonix has announced that they will return to NBC with a brand new holiday special featuring live performances from the group and so much more. Last year’s A Pentatonix Christmas Special drew more than 10 million viewers across two airings on the network. An airdate for the special will be announced at a later date.
In just six years, Pentatonix has sold more than 6.4 million albums (in total consumption) in the U.S. alone. They have won three Grammy Awards, received a Daytime Emmy nomination and performed for hundreds of thousands of fans at their sold-out shows across the globe. Their YouTube channel boasts more than 13.5 million subscribers, yielding over 2.6 billion video views and their 2015 self-titled album has been certified gold after debuting #1 on Billboard’s 200.

Paul Anka has sold over 90 million sales worldwide and his songs have been performed over 100 million times, some of which include “Put Your Head On My Shoulder,” “Lonely Boy,” “Diana” and “You’re Having My Baby”.
Anka’s New York Times Bestselling autobiography came out in April 2013, published by S. Martin’s Press, entitled “My Way.” During the same time, his new 14-song album entitled Duets was released by Sony Music Entertainment and featured artists such as Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Tom Jones, Celine Dion and Michael Bublé. Country superstar becomes 31st performer to receive Mohegan Sun’s Walk of Fame star!
UNCASVILLE, CT (August 14, 2017) – On Friday, August 11th, Mohegan Sun honored Kenny Chesney with a long overdue Walk of Fame award. Taking place before his second back-to-back show, Chesney joins an exclusive list of entertainers who have stars lining the forecourt of the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Accepting the award, Chesney said, “Thank you so much for having me… We really do enjoy coming here and playing, it’s something we look forward to every year!”
“Kenny Chesney first played here in our Arena in 2008; and while it may be hard for many here today to imagine, following today’s sellout performance Kenny Chesney will have performed before nearly 10 sellout crowds at Mohegan Sun Arena – which is truly remarkable,” said Ray Pineault, President and General Manager of Mohegan Sun.
