The “Straight To You” Tour will bring the feel of a theater experience to an arena setting through stage design, lighting and projection as well as through the spontaneity and interactivity Groban delighted his fans with during last year’s “Before We Begin” shows. As a result, for the “Straight To You” shows, Groban will continue to interact with audiences and perform favorites from his best-selling albums, including his self-titled debut, Closer, and Awake, as well as songs from Illuminations.

Linkin Park’s Performance At Mohegan Sun Has Been Cancelled
Mohegan Sun regrets to announce that Linkin Park has been forced to cancel their show tonight in Mohegan Sun Arena. Lead vocalist Chester Bennington is ill and under doctor’s orders to refrain from performing. The band sincerely regrets this unavoidable cancellation and apologizes to fans for any disappointment caused.
Customers that purchased tickets at the Mohegan Sun Box Office or Ticketmaster outlets should return to the point of purchase for refunds. Purchases made online at ticketmaster.com or Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge by Phone number will be refunded automatically.

Country superstar Keith Urban, renowned for his critically-acclaimed live concerts, has announced dates for his “Get Closer 2011 World Tour.” The tour, with very special guest Jake Owen, is expected to make over 50 stops across North America, and will make its way to Uncasville, CT for a performance in Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, July 9th at 7:30pm.

The 1st annual Avalanche Tour brings together some of the biggest names in Rock for a massive North American trek. This year’s tour runs from March 24th – May 8th and features Stone Sour, Theory of a Deadman, Skillet, Halestorm and Art Of Dying. The tour will be playing Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, May 1st at 6:00pm.

Three-time Grammy nominees Stone Sour entered the Billboard 200 chart at #6 with 2010’s Audio Secrecy (Roadrunner Records), featuring the Active Rock singles “Say You’ll Haunt Me,” which was #1 at Active Rock for 8 weeks, and “Hesitate.” Audio Secrecy marks the group’s third studio release and follows their gold-certified Come What(ever) May album which debuted at #4. Atlantic Records band Halestorm scored a Top 5 debut on SoundScan’s “Hard Music” chart upon the release of their self-titled debut album in 2009, simultaneously exploding into the Top 40 on the comprehensive Billboard 200. Produced by Howard Benson (Daughtry, My Chemical Romance, Flyleaf), the album is a volatile collection of infectious Hard Rock anthems, sexy hooks, and rough and tumble grooves. Art Of Dying is a five-piece Rock band fronted by Jonny Hetherington. The Vancouver, Canada based group is the newest signing to Reprise Records/Intoxication Records, the label started by David Draiman and Dan Donegan of the multi-platinum selling band Disturbed. Art of Dying has completed recording in Los Angeles with producer Howard Benson for their 2011 worldwide debut, and they are thrilled to now be part of the Warner family. The band has built a dedicated international following since 2006 touring with Disturbed and Seether, as well as performing at international festivals Download and The Virginfest alongside artists such as Tool, Metallica and 3 Doors Down.
