He later conquered the comedy world by becoming a multi-platinum selling DVD artist and achieving record-breaking ratings on both cable and network TV. His 2015 stand-up special, Unhinged in Hollywood, debuted on NBC Primetime and ranked as the time period’s top non-sports program on the Big 4 in every key measure. The special was re-broadcast on Comedy Central and was the top rated special of the year for the entire network. Dunham’s previous stand-up specials, Arguing with Myself, Spark of Insanity, A Very Special Christmas, Controlled Chaos, Minding the Monsters and All Over the Map, have garnered record-breaking numbers by either claiming “most watched” or “highest rated” on Comedy Central.

Dunham has made many cameo appearances across television and film, from the Emmy Award-winning comedy series 30 Rock, Angie Tribeca and Dinner for Schmucks, starring Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd.  His autobiography, All By My Selves: Walter, Peanut, Achmed and Me, was on the New York Times’ Best Seller list three weeks in a row. Dunham has also been awarded Billboard’s “Top Comedy Tour” for three years based on box office sales.

Patti LaBelle Returns To Mohegan Sun Arena’s Stage

**Patti LaBelle’s appearance at Mohegan Sun Arena that was rescheduled to Thursday, April 8, 2021 has now been postponed to a TBD date. Your ticket will be honored for the new rescheduled date.

UNCASVILLE, CT (January 14, 2020) – Icon, legend and superstar Patti LaBelle returns to Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, May 3rd at 7:30pm.  Belting out Classic Rhythm and Blues renditions, Pop standards and spiritual sonnets that have created the unique platform of versatility that she is known and revered for.

Tickets are $39.00, $29.00 and $19.00 and go on sale Friday, January 17th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster customers may log on to ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning Saturday, January 18th at 10:00am, subject to availability.

It’s a small wonder that Patti has time for anything else in between recording and touring, but she makes time and the world is oh so happy that she does!  She has written six books, Don’t Block the Blessings, LaBelle Cuisine: Recipes to Sing About, Patti’s Pearls, Patti LaBelle’s Lite Cuisine, Recipes for the Good Life and her most recent, Desserts LaBelle. Several years ago, she introduced Patti’s Good Life, a successful food line that includes a variety of pies, cobblers and cakes, and is available at Walmart stores. Also, she has starred in a highly rated cooking show, Patti LaBelle’s Place, on the Cooking Channel. In 2017, Patti released her first Jazz album, Bel Hommage, and a holiday album, Patti LaBelle and Friends – Home for the Holidays, on her own record label, GPE Records. And most recently, Patti expanded the Patti’s Good Life line to include frozen comfort foods such as macaroni & cheese, greens, beef brisket and cornbread.

World renowned for her dynamic career as an entertainer and entrepreneurial success, Patti’s work as a humanitarian is just as legendary. She remains an advocate for adoption, diabetes, cancer, HIV / AIDS and many other causes and non-profit initiatives.  While she has reached the heights of success throughout her 50-plus year career, Patti has also endured and survived personal strife. Within a 10-year period, she lost her mother, three sisters and best friend to diabetes and cancer. In 1994, she was diagnosed with diabetes and shortly thereafter became a spokesperson for the American Diabetes Association.

The same motivation that had Patricia Louise Holte blossom from a choir member to lead vocalist for Patti LaBelle & The Bluebelles and later Labelle, to a solo artist is the same energy that keeps her fire burning at 75 years young. “Each year I grow, and that’s a blessing from God.  I do what I can do.  I do what I feel God has given me the energy to do, so I just go out there and I do it…It’s not about making money because I don’t need money, but I need to sing.  With a voice or without, I’ve got to get on that stage.”  And the world is thankful that Patti’s voice sounds so good to our ears.

Mohegan Sun Arena is now ranked consistently among the top venues in the world according to Billboard Magazine, Pollstar and VenuesNow.  Mohegan Sun Arena is consistently ranked among the top three “Arenas in the World for its Size” and top 15 in the “World for All Size Venues.” The award – winning venue is the “#1 Casino Venue in the World,” “#1 Social Media Venue in the World” and a seven – time national award – winner for “Arena of the Year.”  For more information on concerts and other great events, visit Mohegan Sun. Toby Keith Returns To Mohegan Sun Arena With Country Comes To Town Tour

UNCASVILLE, CT (January 13, 2020) – Country superstar, Toby Keith, returns to Mohegan Sun Arena’s stage on Saturday, September 5th at 7:00pm.  Bringing Country Comes To Town Tour with special guests Matt Stell and Laine Hardy.

Tickets are $85.00, $75.00 and $25.00 and go on sale Friday, January 17th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster customers may log on to ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning Saturday, January 18th at 10:00am, subject to availability.

ABOUT TOBY KEITH

The familiar maxim of the triple threat – singer, songwriter, musician – doesn’t begin to cover it for Toby Keith, one of the modern era’s most complete self-directed hit makers. And Keith’s most recent months are a remarkably accurate representation of his entire career. In October 2019, he released Toby Keith Greatest Hits: The Show Dog Years, a collection of his songs that features more than a dozen tracks with four newly recorded songs including “That’s Country Bro” and “Don’t Let The Old Man In,” which was inspired by a conversation he had with Clint Eastwood and was later featured in Eastwood’s movie, The Mule. The album also includes Country’s most impactful viral event, “Red Solo Cup,” the video for which has received more than 53 million views and was named ACM “Video of the Year.” Rounding out his music-related accomplishments is his Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic fundraising event. Celebrating its sweet 16th year in 2019, that annual two-day bash has brought in a total of $13.7 million to support the charitable endeavors of The Toby Keith Foundation which includes aiding sick children and their families in Oklahoma.

From the moment he released his debut, hit single “Should’ve Been A Cowboy,” the engine driving everything has been the music. He writes it. He arranges and produces it. And he releases it on his own record label, Show Dog Nashville. At the core is his songwriting, as recognized in his 2015 induction into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame in New York City. That year Robert Hunter and Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead, Willie Dixon, and other songwriters from all genres of music were also included in his induction class. The Nashville Songwriters Association International named him “Songwriter/Artist of the Decade” and he is a three-time BMI “Country Songwriter/Artist of the Year.” His songs have received more than 95 million BMI performances on commercial radio stations worldwide, making him the organization’s top Country songwriter in terrestrial Country radio. Keith’s albums have sold more than 40 million copies. His tours have drawn more than a million fans each year for more than a decade straight, with expansions into Europe and Australia. The awards are too numerous to count and include “Artist of the Decade” nods from Billboard and the American Country Awards, as well as the ACM’s “Career Achievement” honor, Poet’s Award recipient, and twice their “Entertainer of the Year” award winner in back-to-back years. Toby’s most rewarding experiences, however, have come from giving back locally, nationally and abroad. In addition to his effort and support with The Toby Keith Foundation and OK Kids Korral, his 11 USO Tours to date have enhanced the lives of nearly 256,000 troops and military families in 18 countries with more than 285 events, and have been recognized with the Spirit of the USO Award (2014). And when a tornado ravaged his hometown, Toby Keith was the face of the community and helped shoulder the cleanup with the 2013 OK Twister Relief Concert. Triple threat? How about singer, songwriter, musician, producer, entertainer, humanitarian, Oklahoman and patriot. For starters.
