On November 22nd, come “gobble” up great dining and retail specials all across property
Mohegan Sun has a wide variety of retail and dining specials to make both your stomach and wallet thankful this Turkey Day!
If a traditional Thanksgiving meal is what you search for, look no futher than Seasons Buffet, Todd English’s Tuscany, Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain and Ballo Italian Restaurant & Social Club at Mohegan Sun.
Upstairs at Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain, the Thanksgiving menu will feature Maple-Glazed Roasted Turkey and a series of sides including Cornbread, Wild Mushroom and Bacon Stuffing, Cranberry, Fig and Pinot Noir Chutney and Creamed Kale for $39.00 per person.
Todd English’s Tuscany has a featured 3-course menu on Thanksgiving sure to satisfy any appetite. For $34.00 per person, the meal starts off with an Isalata of Mixed Greens, Roasted Beets, Spiced Nuts, Whipped Goat Cheese and Brown Butter Balsamic Vinaigrette. For the second course, enjoy Sage-Brined Heritage Turkey with Sausage Potato Stuffing, Roasted Root Vegetables, Bacon Dijon Brussels Petals, Grappa Cranberry Sauce and Giblet Gravy. Then, round out the meal with a Pumpkin Whoopie Pie with Caramel Bourbon Gelato for dessert.
At Ballo Italian Restaurant & Social Club, a special menu is being offered from Noon – 9:00pm in addition to their A La Carte menu on November 22nd. This special Thanksgiving meal will be $42.00 per person and feature three courses, starting with a choice of Classic Caesar Salad or Butternut Squash Soup with Toasted Pumpkin Seeds. The second course will be Roasted Turkey served with an Apple Sage Stuffing with accompaniments such as Gravy, Cranberry Sauce, Whipped Sweet Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts with Pancetta, served family-style. Finish off your meal with Cheesecake with Apple and Cranberry or Cannoli.
Seasons Buffet will be featuring a wide assortment of both traditional and non-traditional fare throughout the day on Thanksgiving. Everything from Pumpkin Ravioli with Sage Brown Butter to Oven Roasted Dark Turkey Meat and Baked New England Style Cod Fish is available for a main course. Top off your meal with desserts like Pumpkin Pie and Apple Cobbler.

Agreement Allows Casino to Gear Up for Regulated Online Gaming
Uncasville, CT – Mohegan Sun and Mohegan Sun Pocono Downs are pleased to announce an agreement with Las Vegas-based Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), to provide customers with its iGaming platform. This technology will allow customers to enjoy the thrill of online poker play without wagering money. The play-for-free model will be available beginning in early 2013 at www.mohegansun.com and www.poconodowns.com. Mohegan Sun is the only gaming destination on the East Coast to offer Bally’s iGaming technology.
The agreement comes after an extensive six-month review process to determine the best vendor and technology. “We’re thrilled to continue our successful partnership with Bally Technologies,” said Mitchell Etess, Chief Executive Officer for the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority. “Our goal is always to provide our guests with the best gaming and entertainment offerings and we believe iGaming is the next step in fulfilling the demand for regulated online play when customers aren’t able to be on property. Further, we believe this exciting new offering will entice new players to visit our properties and experience all that we have to offer.”
The iGaming platform is also designed for mobile integration and is ready to accommodate online gaming beyond poker, such as casino table games, video slots, and sports betting as Connecticut regulations allow.

This November, Bingo After Dark is back at Mohegan Sun for the fourth time
As the temperature drops, things inside Mohegan Sun steam up with Bingo After Dark, back for its fourth time on Saturday, November 24th after selling out in August! Set against an ultra hip neon backdrop, winning $15,000 has never looked better.
The doors open at 8:00pm and the event kicks off at 10:00pm inside Mohegan Sun’s Uncas Ballroom. The cost is $20.00 per person and covers eight games, a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage, entertainment and more. Prize pools vary from $1,500 to $3,000 per game with a total of $15,000 in cash being awarded and DJ K-Otic will be on-hand to spin tunes between rounds. A cash bar will be available.
Player’s Club members can also swipe their cards throughout the night for a chance to win a $1,000 bingo bonus. The winner will be announced at the end of the final game. The event on Friday, October 19th will give brave souls with big hearts the chance to rappel down the side of the hotel at one of Connecticut’s most prominent, well-known destination spots to support inspiring athletes of all abilities. For a second consecutive year, the Mohegan Sun community is coming together to make a positive difference in the lives of athletes through this fundraising initiative – both by organizing the event and participating in it. Mohegan Sun is not only providing the building for this unique fundraiser and amenities for its participants, but is also supporting its employees and executives in their pursuit to go Over the Edge for Special Olympics. Anyone with a taste for adventure is encouraged to sign up to rappel as well. Over the Edge – Mohegan Sun will kick-off at 9 a.m. and run throughout the day. Pre-registration is required, and will give participants the opportunity to create a personal fundraising page so that their friends, family members and colleagues can “sponsor” them easily and securely. Participants will receive a t-shirt and photo of themselves in action. Spectators are welcome and encouraged to cheer on participants!
The event also offers the opportunity to Toss Your Boss. Co-workers can join forces to raise funds and send their boss over the side of the prominent building that day. A good-hearted, willing boss is required. No experience is necessary.
The event is being held to raise awareness about Special Olympics and inspire acceptance and inclusion for people of all abilities as well as to raise funds for its year-round programs. Throughout the year, Special Olympics athletes demonstrate courage on the playing field as they train and compete in sports, strive to achieve personal goals and realize their potential. For one day at Mohegan Sun, individuals will, themselves, demonstrate courage and go to new heights to support these athletes by bravely going Over the Edge.
