UNCASVILLE, CT (October 23, 2023) –– Comedian, actor, writer and producer, Nick Swardson is bringing all the laughs to Mohegan Sun’s Cabaret Theatre for two shows on Friday, April 5th at 7:00pm and 11:00pm.
Tickets to see the Reno 911 star go on sale Friday, October 27th at 10:00am via Ticketmaster.com. Subject to availability, tickets can also be purchased at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting on Saturday, October 28th.
As a standup, Swardson’s Too Many Smells 2018 Tour visited theaters in 40 cities from April through June. Swardson also tours regularly on a bill with Adam Sandler, David Spade and Rob Schneider. Swardson’s latest special can be seen on Netflix as part of COMEDIANS of the World where he was one of four comedians selected to represent the United States. He starred in two one-hour specials for Comedy Central, Nick Swardson: Taste It (2015) and Nick Swardson: Seriously, Who Farted (2010), a half-hour Comedy Central Presents special (2006), and his first comedy album, Party (2007), was certified Platinum.
Swardson was co-creator, co-Executive Producer, co-writer and star of the hit Comedy Central web series, Typical Rick. The series ran for two seasons chronicling the lives of struggling actors, Gary (Swardson) and Rick (Simon Rex), as they try to make it in Hollywood.
On the small screen, Swardson created and starred in Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time (2010), which ran for two seasons on Comedy Central. He voiced the character of Troy in the FX series, CHOZEN (2014), and played the role of Terry on the hit Comedy Central series, Reno 911! (2003-2009).
After catching the attention of Happy Madison Productions, Swardson quickly became a fixture in the company’s films. He co-produced and was seen in Sandy Wexler (2017); Executive Produced and was seen in The Do Over (2016) and The Ridiculous Six (2015); starred with Jesse Eisenberg, Danny McBride and Aziz Ansari in 30 Minutes Or Less (2011); wrote, produced and starred in Grandma’s Boy (2006); and wrote and starred in Benchwarmers (2006).

Halloween festivities to kick off Saturday, October 14th
UNCASVILLE, CT (October 10, 2023) – Guests are invited to join Mohegan Sun this October for a whole roundup of spooky events and specials. Halloween gets an early start at Mohegan Sun this year when The Lalas Halloween Burlesque Show hits The Cabaret Theatre on Saturday, October 14th for an equally hilarious and sexy show. On Saturday, October 28th, guests looking to satisfy their curiosity in demonology, ghosts, UFOs, monsters, urban legends, cryptozoology and more can head over to The Warren’s Seekers of the Supernatural Phantasma-Con in the Earth Expo & Convention Center. On Friday, October 27th, The Warren’s Seekers of the Supernatural Phantasma-Con – VIP Party takes place from 7:00pm – 11:00pm and will feature the only opportunity to take photos of the haunted artifacts all weekend. Grand prize winner of this special music competition will receive $5,000 and a headlining show at the Wolf Den
UNCASVILLE, CT (September 25, 2023) – Local bands and musicians will have the chance to turn dreams into reality during Locals Live! Mohegan Sun and Hall Communications will host another exciting four-week competition where local talent battle for a $5,000 grand prize. The Locals Live champion will also get the opportunity to headline their own show in the award-winning Wolf Den, where acts like Thomas Rhett, LL Cool J, Barenaked Ladies, and last year’s Locals Live winner Nick Bosse based out of North Stonington, CT have graced the stage. Submissions can be made from Monday, September 25th to Wednesday, October 25th through the WCTY website.
Mohegan Sun and Hall Communications will select nine bands/musicians plus two alternates, and three acts per week will compete live every Wednesday from November 15th – December 6th (excluding November 22nd) from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. A live vote from the crowd will determine who will advance on the path to the most epic musical showdown in town, the final competition, on Wednesday, December 13th. At the finals, guest and celebrity judges will play a pivotal role in deciding the official Locals Live champion.
Admission to attend Locals Live is free, and guests can enjoy $4 Michelob Ultra and Bud Light specials. Guests may line up no sooner than three hours before the show. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. One guest can hold four spots in line, but seats will only be given to those present at the time of seating. All guests must be 21 or older to enter the Wolf Den.
For the purposes of this competition, talent is defined as musicians, bands, or singer-songwriters only. All talent must be 21 years of age or older and from CT, RI, MA or NY. Performers must adhere to all Mohegan Sun rules and sign a guidelines contract prior to performance. Talent must be able to set up by 5:00pm on date of performance for sound check. All rules subject to change/management interpretation.
