The main event, Sun Whiskey Union, takes place from 8:00pm to 11:00pm on Saturday, April 8th in the Earth Ballroom. Guests will be able to listen to live music by Jason Ingriselli & The Miles North , taste topflight whiskey, scotch, bourbon and rye, and sample unique craft cocktails. Sun Whiskey Union will feature various distilleries like Beam Suntory and Penelope Bourbon with experts on hand to answer a variety of questions on their style of whiskey and other libations! Delicious food by Bear’s Smokehouse and delectable treats by NoRA Cupcake Company also join the mix!
Sun Whiskey Union will also feature exciting silent auction items from the world of sports, entertainment, and pop culture provided by Ocean State Charity Events. All proceeds from the silent auction will benefit United Way.
Tickets for Sun Whiskey Union are $70 and on sale now through Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office. A portion of ticket proceeds from Saturday’s Sun Whiskey Union will go to support the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut. Special guest Better Than Ezra joins Train at Mohegan Sun Arena
Fans will have an opportunity to witness multi-Grammy and Billboard Award-winning band Train’s extensive and critically acclaimed catalog of hits performed live. Train returns to Mohegan Sun Arena with special guest Better Than Ezra at 7:30pm on Saturday, August 19th.

Train’s climb to the top began in 1994, as the original five-member band tenaciously built a loyal hometown following, leading up to their debut album in 1998. The tumbling wordplay of “Meet Virginia” gave them their first unlikely radio hit, and 2001’s “Drops of Jupiter” broke them to multi-platinum status thanks to the double-Grammy Award winning-title song that spent 10 months in the Top 40. The group won another Grammy Award in 2011 for their global hit “Hey, Soul Sister,” from their multi-platinum album Save Me, San Francisco. The now 11-time platinum hit “Hey, Soul Sister,” was the No. 1 best-selling smash and most downloaded single of 2010. It also achieved RIAA Diamond status in 2021 and, in 2022, surpassed one billion streams on Spotify.
Train has sold more than 10 million albums and 30 million tracks worldwide, with multiple platinum/gold citations, including three Grammy Awards, two Billboard Music Awards and dozens of other honors. Dan + Shay’s mark on Country music – and beyond – continues to grow with the release of their highly anticipated fourth studio album, Good Things. Produced by the duo’s Dan Smyers, the highly imaginative LP is the first Country album in the streaming era to achieve RIAA Gold certification at release and is one of only 12 albums all-genre to be released and go Gold in 2021. Prior to the release, the album was already shattering records beginning with its first single, the four-time Platinum, multi-week No. 1 hit “10,000 Hours” featuring Justin Bieber. With more than 2 billion global streams, “10,000 Hours” became the biggest first-week streaming total in Country music history. Comedian and podcast host Theo Von has been selling out theaters across the country due to high demand, and his next stops include Mohegan Sun Arena. Theo Von will make his Mohegan Sun Arena debut during his Return of the Rat Tour at 8:00pm on Friday, July 21st.
General on sale begins Friday, March 3 at 10:00am via ticketmaster.com and TheoVon.com/tour. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning Saturday, March 4, subject to availability.
Theo Von currently resides in Nashville and Los Angeles but grew up in the stray animal belt of southern Louisiana. He can be seen and heard weekly on his widely popular podcasts – This Past Weekend and King and the Sting — which garner millions of streams and views a month.
Theo’s new comedy special Regular People was filmed at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and is now streaming on Netflix.
In the spring of 2020, Theo completed his two-year Dark Arts Tour, which took him across America, Australia, and Europe. He’s currently on the road with his Return of the Rat Tour. If you want to know how Theo is doing, he is probably doing the best he can, which varies.

Four-time Grammy Award winners and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, The Doobie Brothers, have announced 35 U.S. dates from June through October 2023, an extension of their 50th Anniversary Tour which has had Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald, Pat Simmons, and John McFee back on the road together for the first time in more than 25 years. The Doobie Brothers return to Mohegan Sun Arena at 7:30pm on Friday, October 6th.

These dates follow previously slated performances throughout May 2023 in Kahului and Honolulu, HI; Hollywood and St. Petersburg, FL; and Concord, NC. Prior to resuming their U.S. run, The Doobie Brothers will take their 50th Anniversary Tour to Australia, Japan and Singapore.
“We are thrilled to be back on the road in 2023 playing some cities we haven’t gotten to yet on this tour,” Tom Johnston said.
