Mohegan Sun rings in the New Year with Cirque Celebration, an original and exclusive stage production from Neil Goldberg and the famed Cirque Dreams entertainment brand. This unique celebration will be performed in the Mohegan Sun Arena and presented in-the-round offering guests a 360 degree view of the action. The performance is scheduled for Tuesday, December 31st at 7:00pm.

You’ll see performers as penguins, snowmen and in other cool costumes, twirling, spinning and soaring through the air while gravity-defying acrobats bounce, jump and balance in disbelief. Mohegan Sun Arena awarded Best Arena of the Year & Tom Cantone wins Entertainment Executive of the Year
Mohegan Sun took home two awards at the G2E Global Gaming Conference’s inaugural Casino Entertainment Awards in Las Vegas last night. Mohegan Sun won Best Arena of the Year, topping MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas and Thunder Valley Casino Resort Amphitheater in Lincoln, California and Senior Vice President of Sports & Entertainment, Tom Cantone, took home the prize for Entertainment Executive of the Year. Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den was also nominated for the Best Theater of the Year.
This was the first ever entertainment awards ceremony at the G2E with votes tabulated nationwide.
“Accepting this award is the pinnacle of recognizing the best entertainment team in the nation, who all have ownership of building our entertainment product into one of the elite programs and venues in the world” said Tom Cantone, Senior VP of Sports & Entertainment.
Cantone was recently named to Senior Vice President of Sports and Entertainment for Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority (MTGA), operators of Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in Pennsylvania and Mohegan Gaming Advisors, managers of Resorts Hotel Casino in Atlantic City.
G2E – is world’s largest gaming event from 32 countries, including Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Japan, Korea, Mexico, South Africa, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States. G2E is the premier trade show and conference event for the international gaming entertainment industry held Sept. 23-26, 2013 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.
