Vets Rock Returns To Mohegan Sun November 13th

7th annual event benefiting veterans and active duty military to take place in the Uncas Ballroom

UNCASVILLE, CT (October 11, 2021) – Vets Rock, a free event where Mohegan Sun and the community come together to celebrate active duty military and veterans with a day of valuable programs and resources, returns Saturday, November 13th. Special services featured in the Uncas Ballroom include a career fair presented by Mohegan Sun, Veteran Service Organizations, Educational Services, Save-A-Suit, and companies looking to provide benefits to veterans and military members.

Opening Ceremony
Vets Rock 2021 will begin with an opening ceremony hosted by Gil Simmons of WTNH in The Shops concourse at 11:00am. The opening ceremony includes a salute to veterans and active duty military personnel remarks by invited dignitaries, and a display by the Tribal Colour Guard.

Vets Rock Expo
From 12:00pm – 6:00pm, guests are invited to partake in the free Vets Rock Expo in the Earth Expo & Convention Center. The expo features over 50 veteran services organizations and a career fair hosted by Mohegan Sun. The Save-A-Suit program will also be on-hand, outfitting up to 100 veterans with professional attire. Pre-registration through the website is required to participate in Save-A-Suit. Guests can also donate professional attire at the entrance of the Uncas Ballroom.
