inviting guests to welcome in 2022 in style, as the Uncas Ballroom rolls out the “Party into the New Year,” celebration from 10:30pm – 1:00am, equipped with an open bar, DJ V Tech setting the tone for the dance floor, a Midnight champagne toast and a breakfast buffet! Both the award-winning Mohegan Sun Arena and Wolf Den will also feature can’t-miss NYE performances. Leading up to this spectacular night, Mohegan Sun is also once again in the full holiday spirit, featuring Chef Lynn’s life-size Gingerbread House, the Free Winter Wonderland & Santa’s Workshop Escape Room and an all-new simplified way to send Mohegan Sun gift cards to loved ones.
Tickets for the 21+ Party into the New Year celebration inside Uncas Ballroom on Friday, December 31st are $125.00 in advance and $150.00 for day-of purchases. Advance tickets are available now through December 30th via Ticketmaster and at the Mohegan Sun Box Office. This NYE bash will bring electrifying music and an all-around good time, with music provided by DJ V Tech, based out of Las Vegas. Night-of event tickets will be available and club-style attire is required.
Available through mohegansun.com, launched this holiday season is the first-ever digital Mohegan Sun gift card. Powered by eGIFTIFY, these new online gift-cards can be purchased directly via mohegansun.com/giftcards and used towards shopping, dining, entertainment, Mohegan Sun’s world-class hotel, Mandara Spa, Mohegan Sun Golf Club, Mohegan Sun’s Mobil Gas Station and more. The Beach Boys: Holiday Harmonies also takes center stage this New Year’s Eve at Mohegan Sun. Fans can close out the year right with Mike Love and The Beach Boys as they celebrate the season with a mix of holiday classics from the band’s Christmas album and more. Join the iconic band for a show to remember at 8:00pm on December 31st at Mohegan Sun Arena. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office.
The famous Boogie Wonder Band also returns to the Wolf Den for another NYE performance, taking fans back in time to the 70s & 80s. This 10-piece band will play Funk grooves and Disco-strutting jams in the Wolf Den, for two free shows at 8:00pm and 11:00pm on Friday, December 31st. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis and guests may line up no sooner than three hours before the show. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to enter the Wolf Den.
Now through January 9th, Mohegan Sun guests can travel through the Free Winter Wonderland & Santa’s Workshop Escape Room, located in The Shops at Mohegan Sun across from Todd English’s Tuscany. All-new 23,000 square-foot interactive arcade, bar & restaurant, GAME ON!, to open winter 2018 at Mohegan Sun
UNCASVILLE, CT (June 14, 2018) – Bowling, Ping-Pong, Karaoke, Craft Beer, great food, private event space and plenty more is planned when GAME ON!, owned by the Lyons Group, opens inside Mohegan Sun this winter. GAME ON! at Mohegan Sun will be located inside the all new and expansive, Earth Expo & Convention Center, which welcomes the classic car collector auction, Barrett-Jackson, next week, beginning on Wednesday, June 20th.
GAME ON! has already proven successful in Boston, with an incredibly popular location inside Fenway Park. Once completed at Mohegan Sun, GAME ON! will be a 23,000 square-foot restaurant & bar with various socially interactive elements. It will be located on a lower level of the new Earth Expo & Convention Center.
GAME ON! at Mohegan Sun is set to feature a 65-foot bar with various craft beers on tap, in addition to:
- An eight lane luxury bowling alley
- Karaoke, Ping-Pong tables, Shuffle Board, Billiards, Darts & Arcade Games
- Three huge 16 foot hi-definition digital displays with 3,000 watts of sound

Rain or shine, Sun BBQFest returns featuring Chef Myron Mixon
Uncasville, CT (March 31, 2016) – Brace yourself for a grillin’ and chillin’ good time at Sun BBQFest. On June 11th & 12th, sink your teeth into the best barbeque around with festivities featuring celebrity BBQ Chef — Myron Mixon, live music, beer trailers, barbeque showdowns, local vendors, food trucks and so much more!
Tickets are $5.00 per day and go on sale Friday, April 1st through the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Kids 6 and under get in free. The weekend of the event, tickets for entry are available at the gate along with food and drink tickets.
Eat, Drink, Compete
Get in on all the BBQ action and decide who reigns supreme during the People’s Choice Contest all weekend long. Purchase $2.00 samples from 20 participating Kansas City BBQ Society teams and cast your vote for the ultimate best at Sun BBQFest. Competition remains fierce on Saturday with a Rib Contest from Noon to 2:30pm followed by a Wing Challenge from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. For $5.00, each contest offers a sampling of 5 wings or 5 ribs for you to judge! A portion of the proceeds benefits the Sun BBQFest official charity, Operation BBQ Relief.
Keep the lip smackin’ snackin’ going with the impressive lineup of local restaurants and vendors! Taste your way through the endless supply of scrumptious meats and satisfying options from local food vendors! Wash it all down with a selection of beers including Bud, Bud Light, Yuengling and Sam Adams. Select cocktails will also be offered for $7.00, perfectly refreshing on a hot summer day!
Mix with the Master
Myron Mixon, celebrity chef, three-time Barbeque World Champion, and judge on the reality television show “BBQ Pitmasters” will be at the BBQ Fest on Saturday and Sunday, performing cooking demonstrations, signging books/merchandise, hosting a VIP gathering and judging a sweet dessert competition. Nicknamed “the winningest man in barbeque,” Myron will be passing out the trophies on Sunday while mixing-it-up with competitors and showcasing his award-winning smokers — proudly manufactured in neighboring Waterford, CT.

The Winter Parking Lot heats up with music, Weber Grill Academy demos and classes, a fireworks show and more to celebrate summertime and all things BBQ.
Dance all weekend long with live music on the main stage. Green Tea Band, Country Mile, Jay Dempsey Band, Coyote River Band and Southern City Band will be providing the beats for this epic parking lot party.
Saturday night goes out with a bang! Don’t miss a spectacular fireworks display. The fireworks kick off at 9:15pm and are guaranteed to be fun for the whole family.
