BALTIC, CT (April 15, 2021) –This morning, Mohegan Sun Golf Club (MSGC,) located at 7 Dows Ln, Baltic, CT, officially opened for the season to all resort and public play. In addition to enjoying one of the most scenic and impressive courses New England has to offer, golfers can enjoy the Pautipaug Pub, a spacious and well-appointed clubhouse, a well-stocked and revamped pro shop, a fitness room, the “Triple Tee Snack Bar” that greets players half-way through their round, top-notch practice areas, a training facility and a driving range. Led by PGA Master Pro and VP & General Manager, Philip Krick Jr., MSGC kicks off the 2021 season with a public rate of $100 Monday through Thursday ($75 after 2:00pm.) Weekend rates before 2:00pm are priced at $125.00, ($100 after 2:00pm). MSGC does offer military discounts and guests staying at Mohegan Sun receive reduced rates as well. Golf carts are included in all of the above. Mohegan Sun’s Momentum members are also provided exclusive opportunities. MSGC is also home to a one-of-a-kind Golf Academy where guests can improve their techniques while taking advantage of a comprehensive training facility equipped with the latest in video and shot tracking technologies. A celebrity golf tournament July 29th-30th and The Beach Boys headlining the Ahmad Rashad Celebrity Classic Charity Concert on July 28th
One of golf’s most celebrated charity events—the Ahmad Rashad Celebrity Classic—returns July 28th-30th, 2013 at Mohegan Sun Country Club at Pautipaug.
NFL All-Pro, Emmy Award-winning sportscaster and College Football Hall of Famer Ahmad Rashad hosts the 2013 Ahmad Rashad Celebrity Classic – AhmadRashadCelebrityClassic.com. More than 30 stars of sports and entertainment will participate. The event includes the Celebrity Team Championship open to spectators on July 30th and the legendary Beach Boys in concert, July 28th in the Mohegan Sun Arena.

A free family friendly festival open to the public
WHAT: In celebration of PGA Play Golf America Day, Mohegan Sun Country Club at Pautipaug presents a day of fun for the whole family. Play Golf America Day is a free event including presentations from special guests, product demos and more. The event is open to the public.

IN DETAIL: As part of the PGA’s Play Golf America Day, Mohegan Sun Country Club at Pautipaug is hosting a free day long festival celebrating the game of golf. Play Golf America Day is a family friendly festival great for new, casual and avid golfers alike.
Activities begin at 10:30am and run throughout the day until 2:30pm. Special guests include Dave Mobley, RE/MAX World Long Drive champion and two-time contestant on Golf Channel’s “The Big Break.” Mobley will host a world long drive presentation at 1:00pm along with World Long Drive competitor Michael Michaelides. Throughout the day, Michaelides and Mohegan Sun Country Club Golf Professional Sherri McDonald, both contestants on “The Big Break,” will be on-hand for free golf instruction for all levels of play.
Golf vendors, including Nike, TaylorMade, Titleist, U.S. Kids Golf and more will also be presenting product demos throughout the day with full product lines available for testing with fitting professionals matching players with the right equipment for their level of play. There will also be a Junior Zone setup just for kids.
Food and drink service will be available on the range and at the Pautipaug Pub. Giveaways and prizes will be drawn every fifteen-minutes including free golf lessons, free rounds of golf, golf clubs and equipment and more.
Play Golf America Day is a free event with a percentage of all sales made throughout the day going to benefit the Connecticut Golf Foundation.
