Comedian will perform live at Mohegan Sun on Sunday, May 28th 
UNCASVILLE, CT (March 13, 2017) – Multi-talented entertainer Chris Tucker will be making his way back to Mohegan Sun Arena with a hilarious new routine as he returns to his stand-up roots on Sunday, May 28th at 7:30pm.

Chris Tucker is best known for playing the role of Detective James Carter in the Rush Hour film series. Tucker began his career as a frequent stand-up performer on Def Comedy Jam in the 90s. He rose to prominence in the 1995 film Friday, alongside Ice Cube and then appeared in Luc Besson’s The Fifth Element before beginning work on the highly commercially successful Rush Hour films. More recently he co-starred in the 2013 Oscar®- nominated film Silver Linings Playbook with Robert DeNiro, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper. To date, Tucker has starred in films that have collectively grossed over one billion dollars in box office sales worldwide. His first stand-up movie, Chris Tucker Live, is available exclusively on Netflix, and marks the first project that Tucker has starred in and produced through his own company, Chris Tucker Entertainment.
Tucker is also a humanitarian and spends much of his spare time traveling and working with his foundation.

Rock returned in 2016 to host the 88th Annual Academy Awards. In the past year, he has directed HBO’s comedy special Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo.
With a career spanning more than three decades, Rock has enjoyed ongoing success in both film and television as a comedian, actor, writer, producer and director. In 2014 he led the ensemble cast of Top Five, a critically acclaimed comedy feature that he also wrote and directed. In 2009 Rock ventured into the documentary world as a writer and producer of Good Hair, and in 2014 he executive produced Eat Drink Laugh: The Story of the Comic Strip, a documentary recounting the history of one of New York’s most famous comedy venues. Iliza Shlesinger holds nothing back during her show, which features her sharp and sexy take on life. Originally from Dallas, Iliza moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Emerson College. Her follow up Netflix Original Comedy Special Freezing Hot premiered to rave reviews in January 2015. Amy Schumer is the creator, star, writer and executive producer of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning Inside Amy Schumer, the popular Comedy Central television series which premiered in April 2013 to the network’s highest season premiere ratings of the year. Schumer’s provocative and hilariously wicked mind is on full display as she explores topics revolving around sex, relationships and the general clusterf*ck that is life through a series of scripted vignettes, stand-up comedy and man-on-the-street interviews. The show, whose fourth season premieres next year, won the Primetime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Variety Sketch Show” at this year’s ceremony, and also earned Schumer a nomination for “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.” She also won the Critics’ Choice Television Award for “Best Actress in a Comedy Series.”

UNCASVILLE, Conn. — (September 18, 2015) – Comedic headliners and rising talent have a
new home: COMIX Mohegan Sun, serving up live comedy and craft beer. The new 8,000-square-foot comedy club and craft beer bar located in Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Earth will officially open on October 7th. A grand opening celebration with ribbon cutting is scheduled for Friday, October 9th.
COMIX is the newest venue at Mohegan Sun and the only location hosting live stand-up performances Wednesday-Sunday in a 325-seat club designed exclusively for comedy.
