Restaurant Week Returns to Mohegan Sun

Enjoy delectable dining specials between January 21st – 25th at select restaurants across property

UNCASVILLE, CT (December 28, 2023) – Mohegan Sun’s annual Restaurant Week is back, and guests can enjoy mouthwatering dining specials for a five-day stretch from Sunday, January 21st through Thursday, January 25th.  Restaurants including, but not limited to, BALLO Italian Restaurant, Michael Jordan’s Steak House, Todd English’s Tuscany and TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge will be getting in on the Restaurant Week action by offering can’t-miss dining specials.

Guests can enjoy Restaurant Week at BALLO Italian Restaurant with a three-course meal option for $45 per person. For the first course, guests can choose either a Caesar Salad with Parmigiano and croutons, an Arugula Salad with pine nuts, shaved Parmigiano and lemon, or Meatballs made with Pomodoro, pecorino, basil and mozzarella. The second course gives guests the option of Chicken Francese made with sautéed spinach, roasted garlic, grilled lemon and white wine, Campanella alla Vodka served with stracciatella, Salmon served with roasted Brussels, butternut squash, almonds and Calabrian honey or Eggplant Parmigiana made with mozzarella, pomodoro and basil. For the third course, enjoy a Vanilla and Chocolate Chip Cannoli.

The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House’s Restaurant Week specials include an Irish Trio consisting of house made shepherd’s pie, corned beef & cabbage, banger sausage and soda bread for $36 and Corned Beef & Cabbage Spring Rolls made with corned beef, cabbage, carrots, Swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing for $16. Additionally, guests can enjoy a 20 oz. Guinness for $15.

The featured specials over at MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill include a $19 3-Pointer featuring a half garlic bread, half-pound wings and two spring rolls. Other specials include a 14 oz. BBQ Rubbed Prime Rib served with mashed potatoes, smoked onion jus and horseradish cream for $42 and a $6 23 oz. Bud Light Draft.

At Michael Jordan’s Steak House, guests can dig into a 42 oz. Tomahawk Steak served with steak sauce and fries for $99 or Beef Satay served with Crying Tiger Sauce for $16.

Sol Toro is getting in on the Restaurant Week action with Mix & Match Tacos where guests can choose two or three tacos for $4.50 each; taco options include Fried Cod Fish with Aji mayo and slaw, Pork Carnitas with Sol Toro salsa, cilantro and onion, Fried Chicken with Habanero tomatillo salsa, cilantro and onion, Mexicali Chicken with Guacasalsa and pico de gallo and a Bean Taco made with pinto beans, tomato, lettuce, cheddar cheese and cilantro line crema. Additionally, Sol Toro will feature a Chicken Fried Rice Bowl made with Chipotle chicken, soy chili, roasted garlic and a fried egg for $22 and a Frozen Margarita Flight for $10.

Jasper White’s Summer Shack will offer a three-course meal for $55 per person. For the first course, guests can choose either a Mixed Greens Salad with House Vinaigrette, a cup of New England Clam Chowder or a cup of Spicy Bermuda Fish & Crab Chowder. For the second course, dive into either a 1 lb. Pan-Roasted Lobster served with butter, bourbon, white wine, chervil, shallots and corn on the cob, a Seafood Fra Diavola with Linguini, lobster, shrimp and squid in a spicy red sauce or Grilled Tenderloin Steak Tips served with sautéed mushrooms, garlic broccoli, mashed potatoes and peppercorn cream sauce. For the third course, guests can enjoy a house made dessert.

Sushi Koya is set to offer a special three course meal for $40 per person. For the first course, guests can choose between a Kani Salad or Seaweed Salad. Options for the second course include Dinosaur Eggs consisting of spicy tuna wrapped in avocado, a Sushi Appetizer featuring five pieces of raw fish (Chef’s choice) served with rice or Pork Gyoza. The third course features a selection of one the following: Chef’s Special Roll, Dancing Eel (spicy lobster topped with eel and avocado and kabayaki sauce), Black Samurai (spicy tuna and avocado topped with black pepper tuna, scallion, tobiko and kabayaki sauce), Mermaid (Kano, shrimp and avocado topped with seared spicy salmon, tobiko and spicy mayo), Koya Roll (shrimp tempura and cucumber topped with spicy tuna, kabayaki sauce and tobiko), Volcano Roll (spicy tuna, cucumber, avocado and tempura crunch with kabayaki sauce and spicy mayo) or Salmon Lover (spicy salmon and mango with spicy mayo sauce and crunch).

At Todd English’s Tuscany, foodies can enjoy Restaurant Week with a three-course meal for $50 per person from 5:00pm – close on Monday, January 22nd through Wednesday, January 24th. For the first course, guests can pick among an Autumn Salad consisting of Arcadia mix, double smoked bacon lardons, dried cranberries, Granny Smith apples, pecans, gorgonzola cheese and pomegranate vinaigrette or a Caesar Salad featuring Little Gem lettuce, Tuscan croutons and eggless Caesar dressing or lastly, a house made Lobster Bisque consisting of Maine lobster meat, roasted fennel and chives. For the second course, choose a house made Butternut Squash Ravioli with brown butter, sage and toasted pepitas or a 6 oz. Bone-In Pork Chop served with braised Napa cabbage and Granny Smith apples, silk potatoes and apple butter or a 4 oz. Salmon Florentine served with roasted root vegetables, parsnip puree and lemon butter. For the third course, guests can enjoy a selection of Sorbet Gelato with Chocolate Biscotti or Tiramisu with Coffee Ganache and Chocolate-Covered Espresso Beans.

Restaurant Week at Tao Asian Bistro & Lounge will take place from 5:00pm – close on Monday, January 22nd through Wednesday, January 24th with the featured special being a Pu-Pu Platter consisting of one piece of Crispy Tuna, one piece of Satay Bass, one piece of Chicken Satay, one piece of Gyoza and one Lollipop Wing for $30.

Available from 5:00pm – 8:00pm during Restaurant Week, Johnny Rockets will offer two burgers, one side and two shakes for $30.

Spooktacular Halloween Fun At Mohegan Sun

Nightlife costume parties, live entertainment, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and more start Friday, October 25th

UNCASVILLE, CT (October 3, 2019) – Halloweekend gets an early start this year at Mohegan Sun with tricks and treats across property, including costume contests with over $8,000 in prizes, live entertainment, nightlife specials and a special screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.  Celebrations start Friday, October 25th. All costumes must allow for positive I.D.

novelle steps into the Halloween scene with a three-night extravaganza. The Halloween edition of Famous Fridays at Mohegan Sun’s newest ultra-lounge goes down Friday, October 25th and includes an open costume contest with over $1000 in prizes ready to be dished out. Popular DJ Vito G. will also be in the building to help get the party started.  The Story Saturdays open costume contest on October 26th offers $2,500 in prizes with music by DJ Mark Anthony. And finally, Industry Thursdays takes over Halloween night, with $5,000 in prizes given out to the winners of the open costume contest and music by Chase B.

Avalon Nightclub is hosting a Halloween bash to remember on Saturday, October 26th. Doors open at 9:00pm with music by Joe Maz. Prizes will be given for “Best Overall Costume”, “Most Original Costume” and “Best Group Costume”. Anyone who arrives in costume receives free admission. Otherwise, admission is $20.00 for men, $10.00 for ladies who arrive after 10:00pm.

VISTA Lounge at Wombi Rock’s spooky Halloween open costume party on Saturday, October 26th starts at 9:00pm with music by Alex Walker. There is no cover, and guests must be 21 to enter.

Mohegan Sun’s newest interactive restaurant, GAME ON, is hosting a Bowl-O-Ween party on Saturday, October 26th. In addition to an eight-lane bowling alley, guests can enjoy a 65-foot bar with craft beer on tap, 15 hi-definition viewing screens, karaoke, arcade games, and more. GAME ON is offering food and drink specials, and themed drinks all night. This venue is open to all ages until 10:00pm.

The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House presents the 7 Day Weekend Halloween Party on Saturday, October 26th starting at 10:00pm. Guests can enjoy live music by 7 Day Weekend and prizes, along with food and drink specials all night long.

The Cabaret Theatre celebrates Halloween night with a viewing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Thursday, October 31st at 8:00pm.  Guests can enjoy the Halloween classic with a shadow cast of the film by the Teseracte Players of Boston. Admission is free and participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is 18+ unless accompanied by an adult. A cash bar is available inside The Cabaret Theatre from 7:30pm – 10:00pm.

Connecticut native Tim Cote is set to bring Country charm to the Wolf Den with a free show on Thursday, October 31st at 8:00pm. Guests are encouraged to come early, as seating is limited. All guests must be 21 or older to enter the Wolf Den.

Comix Roadhouse keeps the laughs coming with a special Halloween edition of PAT OATES’ HAND PICKED POTATOES on Thursday, October 31st at 10:00pm. Pat was the winner of Comix Roadhouse’s 2015 Last Comix Standing contest, is a writer for Laugh Staff and hosts the Pat Oats is Sad podcast. Tickets are $10.00, $15.00, and $20.00 and available for purchase at Comix Roadhouse or on their website. Doors open at 9:45pm and guests must be 21+ to attend.

Food & Fun Kick Off The Holiday Season At Mohegan Sun This Thanksgiving!

UNCASVILLE, CT (November 8, 2018) – Thanksgiving Day arrives Thursday, November 22nd, and some of Mohegan Sun’s best dining and entertainment options such as Michael Jordan’s 23.sportscafe, Bar Americain, & Carlo’s Bakery are kicking off the holiday season by featuring festive menu items and deals for family, friends, and loved ones to enjoy!

Starting Thanksgiving Day at 11:30am, Landsdowne Irish Pub & Music House has crafted a special that includes house brined and slow roasted turkey breast served with gravy, mashed potatoessage stuffing, a root vegetable blend, and cranberry sauce for $20.00. For reservations after 5:00pm, please call 860.862.7005. Guests can also enjoy karaoke starting at 9:00pm.

Michael Jordan’s Steak House will offer a ginger-brined duck breast & crispy Sous Vide duck leg served with sweet potato puree, roasted heirloom carrots, sourdough pecan stuffing, drunken kumquat marmalade, and a duck demi-glace for $45.00. For dessert, pumpkin crème brûlée, and butter pecan cookies for $14.00.

Michael Jordan’s 23.sportscafe will also have a Thanksgiving Day meal for $29.00. Guests can enjoy slow roasted turkey, either white meat or dark meat, sage veloute, Yukon mashed potatoes, traditional bread stuffing and roasted green beans, and a traditional pumpkin pie dessert for an additional $7.00.

Todd’s English Tuscany is preparing a 3-course meal for $40.00. First is a wood-roasted pear and gorgonzola salad topped with candied walnuts, arugula, a pomegranate reduction, and balsamic vinaigrette. The main course is sage brined natural turkey, sausage potato stuffing, roasted root vegetables, sweet potatoes topped with a pecan crumble, bacon Dijon brussel petals, Grappa cranberry sauce, and giblet gravy. For dessert, pecan bread pudding and vanilla gelato.

Pasta Vita is providing family style dinners for parties and large gatherings. All of the same great dishes that are available at Pasta Vita can be served for as many people as you need. Call in advance to place your order 860.862.8482.

From 1:00pm to 8:00pm, Bar Americain is presenting a $45.00 three-course feast. First is a gala apple salad with goat cheese, walnuts and a pomegranate vinaigrette. The main course is maple-glazed roasted turkey served with cornbread, wild mushroom stuffing, cranberry-fig chutney, sage gravy, and creamed kale. For dessert, spiced apple caramel crêpes.

At Seasons Buffet, lunch will feature carved slow roasted turkey, honey-mustard glazed ham, and a slow roasted steamship of beef. Dinner will feature carved slow roasted turkey, shallot crusted roast Prime rib, and honey glazed ham. Sides include bourbon maple roasted sweet potatoes, apple cranberry stuffing, and pumpkin risotto. Regular hours and prices apply.

For dessert, Carlo’s Bakery has created three holiday bundle packages:

  • The Holiday Dinner special is a $65.00 package fit to serve 10-12 people and includes the choice of two 8” pies (apple, apple crumb, pecan, or pumpkin), a six-cupcake box, and a choice of a five-pack cannoli box, assorted lobster tail box, or a signature lobster tail box.
  • The Holiday Gathering special is an $85.00 package, fit to serve 15-20 people, and includes the items from the Holiday Dinner Special and either a chocolate fudge, strawberry shortcake, vanilla confetti, or vanilla fudge cake.

Enjoy family fun at Kids Quest and Cyber Quest! Operating hours have been extended for the Thanksgiving holiday week. Kids Quest is Mohegan Sun’s largest hourly childcare provider and entertainment facility, offering supervised play, games, and birthday parties. The Wolf Den is keeping the holiday weekend rolling by hosting a free show by American Idol winner and CT native Nick Fradiani on Friday, November 23rd at 8:00pm.  Growing up on the East Coast, Fradiani was mesmerized by the live renditions of his heroes: Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel, to name a few. Fradiani has shared the stage with notable acts like One Republic, DNCE, Rachel Platten, James Bay and Rob Thomas.

Mohegan Sun Arena wraps up Thanksgiving Day weekend with two shows from Trans-Siberian Orchestra! On Sunday, November 25th at 3:00pm and 8:00pm, Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) will return to Mohegan Sun Arena for their 2018 Winter Tour, The Ghosts of Christmas Eve. Commemorating 20 years of live performances, this TSO performance will feature enduring fan – favorites as “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24,” “O’ Come All Ye Faithful,” “Good King Joy,” “Christmas Canon,” “Music Box Blues,” “Promises To Keep,” and “This Christmas Day.” Additionally, the tour will enjoy a new second set containing some of TSO’s greatest hits and fan – pleasers. Mohegan Sun Hosts Restaurant Week January 12th – 17th

The Restaurants of Mohegan Sun offer a week of discounts and specials
Calling all foodies! Prepare for a week of delicious deals and special menus as the Restaurants at Mohegan Sun celebrate Restaurant Week from January 12th through the 17th. Diners can also enjoy 20% off at Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain, Todd English’s Tuscany, Bobby’s Burger Palace and Seasons Buffet all week long.
The participating restaurants and their specials from January 12th – 17th include:
BALLO Italian Restaurant
Each night throughout Restaurant Week, BALLO Italian Restaurant will be offering a 3-course dinner special for $29.95 per person. The meal starts with a choice of antipasti options which includes either a Classic Caesar Salad with arugula, shaved parmigiano, pine nuts and lemon or a Mixed Green Salad with mozzarella, sweet peppers and white balsamic vinaigrette. Secondi options include four choices of Rigatoni with spicy sausage ragu and pecorino fonduta, Chicken Parmigiana with house pomodoro, mozzarella and basil, Salmon with charred broccolini, toasted almond and blood orange vinaigrette or a 14 oz. NY Strip a la Pizzaiola ($10 supplement). For dessert BALLO will serve a Kahlua and Dark Chocolate Espresso Cannoli.
Hash House A Go Go
Hash House A Go Go will celebrate Restaurant Week with both lunch and dinner specials throughout the week. The lunch for two special will be $25 for two from Noon until 4:00pm and include two House Salads with cucumber ranch dressing, a choice of two entrées including stuffed burgers, The Kokomo or the Pub Crawl Sandwich with French fries and a shared dessert of delicious House made Pumpkin Bread Pudding. The dinner for two special will be $35 for two and run from 5:00pm until 10:00pm. The dinner special includes a shared appetizer of Filet of Beef Tenderloin and Polenta, the choice of two entrees including the Meatloaf, Lemon Chicken or Grilled Pork Tenderloin dinner and a shared dessert of delicious House made Pumpkin Bread Pudding. Both specials include a soft drink, coffee or tea.
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts
Enjoy a free small soda or drip coffee with any dozen donuts purchased at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

Savor in some of Mum’s Meatloaf with mashed potatoes, green beans and gravy for only $15. Served all day until 10:00pm.

Jasper White’s Summer Shack will be offering a 4-course tasting menu for $30 per person as well as a wine pairing with three courses for an additional $15 per person.

Michael Jordan’s Steak House is offering a three-course meal for $45 per person (plus tax and gratuity). First course includes a choice between a Caesar Salad with romaine hearts, croutons and shaved parmesan or Roasted Heirloom Tomato Soup with pecorino cheese, heirloom baby tomato and micro basil. For the second course, guests can select from a Northeast Family Farm Ribeye (10 oz.) with gourmet mushrooms and red wine demi glaze or Nueski Bacon Crusted Swordfish (5 oz.) with sautéed spinach, lemon zest and lobster broth. Third course offers a choice between Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée, Cranberry Biscotti or an assortment of Sorbets (your selection of three).
