The 2019 Awards were announced today, with Mohegan Sun finishing in the top five for three different casino categories
UNCASVILLE, CT (September 20, 2019) – In a Readers’ Choice contest that involved some of the most well-known casino & resorts in the United States, Mohegan Sun is proud to once again take home a 1st place ranking for “Best Casino Hotel” in the 2019 USA Today’s 10Best.com Readers’ Choice Awards. Mohegan Sun has now been named “Best Casino Hotel” in the 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards in back-to-back years. Additional placements include 5th in both “Best Casino outside of Las Vegas” and “Best Player’s Club” (Momentum).

The Arena continues to rank among the top venues in the world 
UNCASVILLE, CT (January 24, 2017) – National industry trade publications Pollstar Magazine, Billboard Magazine and Venues Today recently released their 2016 Year End Special issues, which reports the top selling tours and top venues across the globe, and all have ranked Mohegan Sun Arena among the top concert venues in the world. With one of the most successful years in its history, Mohegan Sun Arena drew over 700,000 people in 2016, making it the top casino venue in the world, as well as the 39th ranked concert stop worldwide and 17th nationally for all size venues.
Finishing in the top 3 for venues of its size nationwide according to Venues Today, the Arena places itself in the company of arenas like The Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA, Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Philips Arena in Atlanta, The Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. and Madison Square Garden in New York, NY, all of which have capacities of over 15,000. Mohegan Sun Arena also finishes #1 for all of New England in Pollstar’s 2016 ranks.

The award-winning venue takes the top spot in Venues Today for all arenas of its size between June 16th and July 15th
UNCASVILLE, CT (September 8, 2015) – With a top-notch mid-Summer lineup that included the likes of Shania Twain, Def Leppard, Idina Menzel, Dancing With The Stars, John Fogerty, Kelly Clarkson and Barenaked Ladies, Mohegan Sun Arena earned the top stop in concert and event gross from June 16th through July 15th for all venue’s in the world, at capacities’ between 5,001 and 10,000 seats, as reported by industry trade publication, Venues Today.

At nearly half-a-million tickets sold for 2014, 10,000-seat Arena in Uncasville, CT continues to be ranked with big city & high profile venues across the globe
National industry trade publications, Pollstar Magazine, Billboard Magazine and Venues Today recently released their 2014 Year End Special issues, which reports the top selling tours and top venues across the globe, and all have ranked Mohegan Sun Arena among the top concert venues in the world. With one of the most successful years it’s seen, Mohegan Sun Arena sold nearly half-a-million concert tickets in 2014, making the venue the 26th ranked concert stop worldwide and 8th nationally for all size venues, beating last year’s Pollstar finish of #52 worldwide and #23 nationally.
With the finish of 8th overall and 3rd for its size nationwide, the Uncasville venue places itself in the company of arenas like The Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA, Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Philips Arena in Atlanta, The Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. and Madison Square Garden in New York, NY, all of which have capacities of over 15,000. Mohegan Sun Arena also finishes #1 for all of New England in Pollstar’s 2014 ranks.
The Arena has also received high praise from trade publication Billboard Magazine as one of the top venues of the decade so far and for 2014 the Arena finished at #4 in the world and #3 in the USA for its size (5,000-10,000) in total gross from concert ticket sales.
