UNCASVILLE, CT (April 10, 2017) – With a second Gillette Stadium show added and close to sold-out, the hunger for that live Kenny Chesney summer experience is pronounced. Though there’s a handful of festival plays on the calendar for this year, Chesney announces four more intimate shows to round out his 2017 live schedule: Tuscaloosa Amphitheater on August 4th and The Wharf Amphitheatre in Orange Beach, AL on August 5th, followed by two nights at Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday, August 10th and Friday, August 11th. Both Mohegan Sun shows are presented by Blue Chair Bay Rum and will begin at 7:30pm.
Tickets are $125.00 & $95.00 and go on sale Friday, April 14th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. “As long as we’re rehearsing and I’ve got new music in the pipeline, I can’t imagine not playing a little bit,” says Chesney. “I know that it takes time off to create and make records… to write and find songs like “American Kids” and “Noise,” but that doesn’t mean I don’t miss the fans. There is nothing that feeds me more than hearing the sound of the No Shoes Nation singing these songs, seeing those faces and knowing this is gonna be one of those nights.”
Having closed 2016’s Spread the Love Tour with 121,399 cheering New Englanders at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA, along with hitting the half-million mark at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey’s Meadowlands, Chesney had one of his biggest touring years – despite playing fewer dates than he has in previous years. As he says of those shows, “I can still hear the crowds when I close my eyes at night. Just when I think it can’t get any bigger or louder, the No Shoes Nation comes at me with these songs, singing and cheering and showing me how much life we can live in three minutes.”

Rain or shine, Sun BBQFest comes back on June 3rd & 4th
UNCASVILLE, CT (April 7, 2017) – Get ready for all-day finger-lickin’ fun at Sun BBQFest! On June 3rd and 4th, taste the flavors of the best barbeque around with festivities featuring live music, a beer garden and Tito’s RV, barbeque battles, local vendors, food trucks, fireworks and so much more.
Tickets are $5.00 per day and go on sale Friday, April 7th at 10:00am through the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Kids 6 and under get in free. The weekend of the event, tickets for entry are available at the gate along with food and drink tickets.

Join the BBQ action and decide who reigns supreme during the People’s Choice Contest all weekend long. $2.00 samples will be available from 20 participating Kansas City BBQ Society teams, and guests can cast their vote for the ultimate best at Sun BBQFest. On Saturday, the competition continues with a rib contest from Noon to 2:30pm, followed by a wing challenge from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. For $5.00, each contest offers a sampling of 5 wings or 5 ribs for fans to indulge and then judge. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Sun BBQFest official charity, Operation BBQ Relief.
BBQFest goers can taste their way through an endless supply of delicious meats and other flavorful options, all from some of the best restaurants and food vendors that can be found in the region. Wash it all down with a refreshing selection of beers that include Bud, Bud Light and Sam Adams. Select cocktails will also be offered for $7.00 – just what might be needed on a hot summer day!

Hilarious comedian to perform in the Arena on August 26th & 27th 
UNCASVILLE, CT (March 20, 2017) – Just for Laughs’ “Stand Up Comedian of the Year (2016)” Sebastian Maniscalco continues spreading his laughs across the U.S. on his Why Would You Do That? Tour. Maniscalco is one of comedy’s fastest rising new stars. Born and raised in a working-class Chicago neighborhood, he moved to Los Angeles in 1998 to pursue his comedy career. There, he employed the work ethic his father instilled in him to build his name – simultaneously working as a waiter at the Four Seasons Hotel – and eventually drew the attention of actor Vince Vaughn, who cast him in Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Show. Maniscalco also stars in his own wildly popular The Pete and Sebastian Show podcast every Friday night.
