Guests unable to make it to Mohegan Sun on Saturday due to inclement weather are welcomed to either use their ticket for Friday evening’s Grand Tasting Preview or receive a refund at point of purchase
UNCASVILLE, CT (January 27th, 2022) – The 18th Annual Sun Wine & Food
Fest (SWFF) at Mohegan Sun kicks off this evening and runs through Sunday, January 30th. The Grand Tasting, from 1:00pm – 5:00pm on Saturday, January 29th, will take place as planned and tickets are still available HERE. Should current ticket holders be unable to attend the Grand Tasting or any other Saturday SWFF event due to the impending weather, Mohegan Sun will offer refunds at point of purchase. Additionally, any guests who have Saturday Grand Tasting tickets that would like to attend the Grand Tasting Preview event inside Earth Expo Center from 8:00pm – 10:00pm on Friday, January 28th, are welcomed to do so.

The Beach Boys: Holiday Harmonies also takes center stage this New Year’s Eve at Mohegan Sun. Fans can close out the year right with Mike Love and The Beach Boys as they celebrate the season with a mix of holiday classics from the band’s Christmas album and more. Join the iconic band for a show to remember at 8:00pm on December 31st at Mohegan Sun Arena. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office.
The famous Boogie Wonder Band also returns to the Wolf Den for another NYE performance, taking fans back in time to the 70s & 80s. This 10-piece band will play Funk grooves and Disco-strutting jams in the Wolf Den, for two free shows at 8:00pm and 11:00pm on Friday, December 31st. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis and guests may line up no sooner than three hours before the show. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to enter the Wolf Den.

TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge, BALLO Italian Restaurant, Michael Jordan’s Steak House, Hash House a Go Go, and other popular dining options are ready to let you leave the kitchen behind and make your Thanksgiving plans with Mohegan Sun!
The all-new TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge gets the party started with a prix fixe meal of juicy roasted turkey with gochujang glaze and garlic pepper gravy, mushroom & ginger stuffing, butternut squash & asparagus dumplings, cranberry beurre blanc, and a mixed vegetable tempura with sesame honey sauce. Dessert is an Apple Miso Pie with Ginger Ice Cream. TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge is open on Thanksgiving from 5:00pm – 10:00pm.
The Thanksgiving meal at BALLO Italian Restaurant starts with a tasty Bruschetta of grilled sourdough, whipped ricotta cheese, grilled eggplant, crispy baby artichokes, golden raisin, roasted butternut squash and agrodolce. The entrée is your choice of either garganelli bolognese or a 10 oz. pan-seared duck breast served with parmesan polenta, roasted root vegetables, wild mushrooms and a chianti demi glaze.

Michael Jordan’s Steak House is serving a three-course meal that starts with a colossal quinoa beet salad composed of goat cheese, shaved Brussels sprouts, and pomegranate dressing. The main course features a roasted turkey breast parmentier, turkey jus, sweet & sour cranberries, green bean casserole and stuffing. Dessert is refreshing banana chocolate bread pudding with coffee ice cream.
Over at MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill, families can start with a hearty Thanksgiving chowder full of turkey, mixed vegetables, potatoes, and dried cranberries. Dinner is a classic turkey dinner served with succulent roasted turkey, haricot verts, stuffing, gravy, smashed red bliss potatoes, and cranberry sauce. Dessert is a delicious banana chocolate bread pudding with coffee ice cream.
Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House also has great selections for a Thanksgiving meal. Turkey sliders are served full of house-roasted turkey, cheddar cheese, horseradish and cranberry sauce on a brioche bun. The first course features a flavor packed wood-roasted pear and gorgonzola salad, candied walnuts, pomegranate reduction, arugula and balsamic vinaigrette. The main course is a sage-brined turkey, sausage potato stuffing, roasted root vegetables, sweet potato with pecan crumble, bacon dijon brussels sprouts, grappa cranberry sauce and giblet gravy.

7th annual event benefiting veterans and active duty military to take place in the Uncas Ballroom
UNCASVILLE, CT (October 11, 2021) – Vets Rock, a free event where Mohegan Sun and the community come together to celebrate active duty military and veterans with a day of valuable programs and resources, returns Saturday, November 13th. Special services featured in the Uncas Ballroom include a career fair presented by Mohegan Sun, Veteran Service Organizations, Educational Services, Save-A-Suit, and companies looking to provide benefits to veterans and military members.
Opening Ceremony
Vets Rock 2021 will begin with an opening ceremony hosted by Gil Simmons of WTNH in The Shops concourse at 11:00am. The opening ceremony includes a salute to veterans and active duty military personnel remarks by invited dignitaries, and a display by the Tribal Colour Guard.
Vets Rock Expo
From 12:00pm – 6:00pm, guests are invited to partake in the free Vets Rock Expo in the Earth Expo & Convention Center. The expo features over 50 veteran services organizations and a career fair hosted by Mohegan Sun. The Save-A-Suit program will also be on-hand, outfitting up to 100 veterans with professional attire. Pre-registration through the website is required to participate in Save-A-Suit. Guests can also donate professional attire at the entrance of the Uncas Ballroom.

As a thank you to our troops, both past and present, Mohegan Sun regularly offers a military discount to all active duty military personnel, veterans and military dependents at more than 40 shops and dining locations across property.

Culinary positions offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus, housekeeping positions offer a $500 sign-on bonus
UNCASVILLE, CT (October 7, 2021) – This fall Mohegan Sun is set to host two hiring events on Wednesday, October 13th and Wednesday, October 27th. 
Employment opportunities are open in Food & Beverage, Event Support, Security, Marketing, VIP, Accounting, Hotel, Retail and more. Culinary positions offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus while all housekeeping and Barista-Starbucks positions offer a $500 sign-on bonus. Bonuses will be paid out in increments.
Both of these hiring events slated for October 13th and 27th will take place from 10:00am – 5:00pm located in the Earth Expo & Convention Center.
