Three Connecticut Sun players were named to the AT&T WNBA All-Star 2021
roster on Wednesday afternoon. Brionna Jones, Jonquel Jones and DeWanna Bonner will head to Las Vegas, NV on July 14 to compete in the 17th WNBA All-Star game. The game will be broadcast on ESPN at 7pm EST.
Brionna Jones, who received the first All-Star selection of her career, is averaging a career-best 14.4 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per game in a career-high 31.1 minutes of action per game. Drafted eighth overall in the 2017 WNBA Draft, Jones has solidified herself as one of the top frontcourt players in the league. In 2020, the 6-3 forward saw her first career start and has been in the starting line-up for every contest she has seen action in since.
Jonquel Jones, is due to make the third All-Star appearance (2017, 2019) of her career in 2021. The 6-6 forward is currently leading the Sun in points per game (21.7) and rebounds per game (10.9). Averaging a career-high in points and a second-best in rebounds, Jones sits third in the WNBA for points per game and first in rebounds per game. In 2017 and 2019, when Jones was also selected as an All-Star, she led the league in rebounding both years.
Bonner, a 12-year WNBA veteran, will also be representing the Sun in this year’s All-Star Game. The 6-4 forward is currently second on the team in points and rebounds per game. Averaging 16.1 points and 7.4 rebounds. Bonner will appear in her fourth All-Star game.
Those selected as all-stars will compete against the USA Basketball Women’s National Team ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Team WNBA will be coached by Co-Head Coaches, Lisa Leslie and Tina Thompson.

On More Money Mondays, Momentum members can win their share of $10,000 cash! Every Monday from June 28th – August 30th, one Momentum member will be randomly selected every thirty minutes between 10:00am – 7:30pm to win $500 cash. That’s 20 winners every Monday! World tour features new music from Lorde for the first time in four years

UNCASVILLE, CT (June 14, 2021) – Award winning, Platinum selling artist Brett Eldredge is set to launch his Good Day Tour later this summer and into fall. Produced by Live Nation, the 21 city tour will kick off September 16th in Cleveland, OH and will be his first U.S. tour since his perennial holiday Glow tour wrapped in December of 2019. Hash House a Go Go, SolToro, Michael Jordan’s Steak House and MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill are serving up Father’s Day Specials; a unique gift at Mohegan Sun’s Le Creuset is also available for a limited time
Mohegan Sun will feature some can’t miss dining specials
for Father’s Day, taking place on Sunday, June 20th. These dining specials will include Jumbo Surf & Turf at Michael Jordan’s Steak House, a Cowboy Ribeye at MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill just next door and Chipotle BBQ Ribs at Mohegan Sun’s popular Mexican restaurant, SolToro. With the NBA Playoffs going on and the MLB in full swing, MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill is a great place to spoil Dads on Sunday, June 20th. This venue will be featuring Steak Bruschetta as well as a Cowboy Ribeye that delivers a 16oz bone-in Ribeye steak with roasted tomatoes, chimichurri and a loaded potato. A Bourbon Bread Pudding rounds out this delicious Father’s Day special.
Across the way at Michael Jordan’s Steak House, a Wagyu Tartare with Mishima Ranch wagyu, cornichon, shallots, fried capers and crostini will be featured on Father’s Day. Also on the menu will be a Jumbo Surf & Turf, served with an 18oz Prime bone-in filet with jumbo prawn, Jonah crab claw and lemon garlic butter.
Father’s Day specials at Hash House a Go Go will include a Corned Beef & Swiss Burger, a Pot Roast Hash (slow cooked pot roast with sliced mushrooms and yellow onions served on crispy potatoes) and the crowd pleaser, Bacon, Bacon Bacon! Which is house candied bacon with brown sugar and Hash House seasoning.
SolToro joins the Father’s Day’s fun as well, starting with a special that offers Ceviche Crab Tostadas; fried corn tortilla, avocado cream, hearts of palm, jalapeño and cilantro. A dish of Chipotle BBQ Ribs will also be featured, served with roasted sweet potatoes and corn on the cob.
In The Shops at Mohegan Sun, kitchen and cookware outlet, Le Creuset, will have a perfect gift for Dad. They are currently offering a limited edition @MLB Signature Series 7.25 quart Dutch oven. A great gift for cooking short ribs, various stews, chicken curry and more.
