Uncasville, CT (January 27, 2016) – Join Mohegan Sun for the Sun WhiskeyFest on April 1, 2016 and enjoy the finest whiskey, great food, live entertainment and more. Tickets for Sun Whiskey Fest go on sale Friday, January 29th through Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office.

Beginning at 7:00pm and going through 11:00pm on Friday, April 1st and taking place inside the Uncas Ballroom, Sun Whiskey Fest promises to be a special festival for Whiskey lovers. Guests will be able to try new and old favorites of whiskey, scotch, bourbon and rye. Craft batch cocktails for those looking for something a little different will be available as well. Experts from many of the distilleries will be on hand to discuss their style of whiskey and other libations!
Delicious small plates will also be featured from some of the region’s top restaurants and The Shiny Lapel Trio with provide entertainment for the evening.
Tickets to this event are $75.00 and go on sale Friday, January 29th at 10:00am. The event runs from 8:00pm – 11:00pm on April 1st and includes unlimited tastings and food samples and a cigar for your enjoyment.
Sun WineFest Ticket Offer: Show your ticket to any Sun WineFest 2016 event and you will receive $5.00 off your $75.00 Whiskey Fest ticket at either Mohegan Sun’s Box Office or at the Bourbon event on January 29th (discount will only be offered January 29th through January 31st).

There will also be special hotel packages available as part of Sun Whiskey Fest. Mohegan Sun regrets to announce that the Charles Esten show in the Wolf Den that was scheduled for this Saturday night has been postponed. A new rescheduled date is to be announced.
Additionally, the Live Discussion portion of this Saturday’s Winning Authors event featuring Beatriz Williams, Karen White and Lauren Willig has been cancelled. The authors will still be holding a 3:00pm signing in The Shops concourse.

Meet the brothers as they share their recently-released debut album, Pawn Shop, with fans during this free autograph session in The Shops concourse.
Participation is on a first-come first-served basis. Due to time restrictions, Brothers Osborne will only be signing copies of their debut album, Pawn Shop. There will be no personal photos or photo personalization. This event is bracelet-only. Bracelets will be distributed upon purchase of Pawn Shop at Spin Street in The Shops concourse. IN DETAIL: Star of The Walking Dead, Michael Cudlitz, makes a special appearance in The Shops concourse as part of Mohegan Sun’s Reality Check. The acclaimed actor who plays Sergeant Abraham Ford in the hit horror series The Walking Dead greets fans on January 16th with a live Q&A at 7:00pm followed by a signing at 7:30pm.
Participation is one a first-come first-served basis. Due to time restrictions, Michael Cudlitz will only be signing one piece of memorabilia or the headshot given out at the event per person. There will be no personal photos or photo personalization. This event is bracelet-only. Bracelets will be distributed at 5:00pm at the signing area in The Shops concourse.
