25th Anniversary weekend wrapped up on Saturday, October 23rd. Harry Styles put on an incredible performances in the award-winning 10,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena on both October 21st and October 23rd, and Blake Shelton also brought the house down on Friday, October 22nd. Run DMC played an epic first-time performance in the legendary 325-seat Wolf Den as well, which was Mohegan Sun’s very first music venue that opened in 1996. A late night VIP 25th Anniversary After-party occurred in the new TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge following the Harry Styles concert on Saturday, which saw the likes of Mario Lopez, Serena & Joe from ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise, Melissa & Joe Gorga, recording artist Teyana Taylor and many more walk a special Red Carpet before entering the TAO After-party.

The 25th Anniversary celebration inside TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge also hosted a special

UNCASVILLE, CT (October 14, 2021) – The Miss America Organization is thrilled to announce tickets to the 100th Anniversary Competition are now available for purchase! This year’s competition will be held Sunday, December 12th through Thursday, December 16th at Mohegan Sun. Preliminaries take place at Mohegan Sun’s Earth Expo Center and the finals will take place in the award-winning 10,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena.
Tickets to the preliminaries are $100 and $50. Tickets to the final competition are $250, $150 and $100. Guests can purchase tickets to these events via ticketmaster.com and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability.
The 51 outstanding young women vying for the job of Miss America will begin their competition week on Sunday, December 12th with the first evening of preliminary competition followed by round two on Monday, December 13th. Doors will open at 6:00pm with the shows beginning at 7:00pm.
The final competition on Thursday, December 16th will begin with the Forever Miss Americas pre-show at 7:00pm, followed by the live competition show at 8:00pm. Mohegan Sun excited to announce 
expanded shuttle service for guests traveling to New London, Connecticut by AMTRAK, Cross Sound Ferry and Shore Line East / CTrail. Passengers who are looking to visit Mohegan Sun simply have to show their qualifying ticket to the Mohegan Sun shuttle driver for access. This Mohegan Sun Shuttle serves the Transportation Center in New London, CT, which is roughly 20 minutes from Mohegan Sun. The shuttle will run on a two-hour loop, starting at 8:40am out of New London.
“Guests in and around New York City, and certainly from Long Island, will now have an easier way to visit Mohegan Sun,” –said Jeff Hamilton, President & General Manager of Mohegan Sun. “This reimagined shuttle service will provide seven daily opportunities to visit Mohegan Sun for guests traveling by train, ferry or bus into New London, just as our destination ramps up with summer festivities and the return of high-profile sports & entertainment inside Mohegan Sun Arena.”
Shuttle schedules are currently available through the Getting Here section of mohegansun.com. Mohegan Sun offers multiple departures back to the New London Transportation Center every day, departing from Sunrise Square in Casino of the Earth. Guests with a train, bus or ferry ticket dated for that day out of New London can take advantage of these shuttle departures. The Cross Sound Ferry from Orient Point in Long Island, NY travels to and from the New London Transportation Center seven days a week.
Mohegan Sun is also equidistant between New York City and Boston, MA, and easily accessible through all major regional airports, including Bradley International Airport in Hartford, CT and T.F. A Mother’s Day meal at BALLO Italian Restaurant starts with the choice of a classic caprese salad topped with aged balsamico and paired with focaccia bread, or a mista salad with marinated shrimp, eggplant caponata, roasted red pepper, grilled corn, marinated & slow roasted tomatoes and arugula topped with a lemon basil vinaigrette. The entrée is veal saltimbocca with prosciutto, spinach, mozzarella, fried sage and slow roasted tomatoes. The main course is surf & turf with a 7 oz. filet mignon, stuffed lobster tail, asparagus and roasted tomato hollandaise. Dessert is refreshing mixed berries topped with granola crumble, whipped cream and mint.
Over at MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill, Mom can enjoy tomato bruschetta with beefsteak tomato, red onion, garlic, pesto, parmesan and a balsamic reduction. Dinner is seafood stuffed salmon made with Black Pearl salmon topped with hollandaise and a side of pesto mashed potatoes. Mohegan Sun Golf Club is a 72-par course and one of the premier golf destinations in the Northeast. The 156-acre course is kept in top-shape by a dedicated grounds team and upgrades to various holes have been made since Mohegan Sun took ownership in 2007. Mohegan Sun Golf Club has also become known for hosting high-profile tournaments and events, some of which that have brought the likes of Michael Jordan, Aaron Rodgers, Charles Barkley, Chris Paul, Joe Pesci, Ahmad Rashad, Larry Fitzgerald and Ray Allen to the championship course.
MSGC’s clubhouse, stretching 20,000 square feet, has also been significantly updated in recent years, including enhancements to the Pautipaug Pub and lounge areas.
The clubhouse also features a second floor banquet room, which can be customized for private parties, receptions & group events.
