The 36-city tour, promoted exclusively by Live Nation, will start on July 11th in Hershey, Pennsylvania and culminate on September 20th in Camden, New Jersey. Mohegan Sun Arena is excited to welcome the megastar performer for a Thursday, July 23rd concert, starting at 7:00pm. Joining Kelly on the tour will be recent GRAMMY® winners Pentatonix and singer-songwriter Eric Hutchinson. Superstar siblings plan all-new tour due to fan demand; Mohegan Sun Arena welcomes the dance pair back for two shows on July 12th

The pair stopped by Good Morning America to announce MOVE LIVE ON TOUR 2015 which will kick off on June 12th in Phoenix, AZ and hit over 40 cities including stops at the famed Radio City Music Hall in NYC, Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville and Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT for two shows on Sunday, July 12th, set for 3:00pm and 8:00pm.

The Houghs are promising MOVE LIVE ON TOUR 2015 will be bigger and better than ever. “We had such a fun and high energy show last year. Our goal then, and our goal now is to have it feel like a Rock concert for dance and I think we have and certainly will accomplish that again,” said Julianne Hough.

JULIANNE HOUGH is known to audiences around the world for her success in film, television and music. Bobby Soper will take over at President of MTGA effective March 30th
UNCASVILLE, CT – After a comprehensive process, the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority (MTGA) announced today their succession plan for retiring casino veteran Mitchell Grossinger Etess. Effective March 30th, Robert J. Soper (“Bobby”) will assume the position of President of MTGA and will oversee all day-to-day operations of The Authority.
Additionally, Ray Pineault will transition to President & General Manager of the flagship property, Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and Thomas P. Burke, who has over 35 years of experience in gaming operations throughout the United States and is currently the acting President of Mohegan Gaming Advisors (MGA), will now serve as Chief Operating Officer of MTGA. In this newly created position, he will oversee operations of all MTGA owned and managed properties.
“The Tribal Council and the Mohegan people are extremely proud of the announcements we are making today for several reasons,” said Kevin “Red Eagle” Brown, Chairman of the Mohegan Tribe. “Not only are we proud to present the best executive management team in the business, one that will ensure that we remain best in class as we continue to grow our business, we are doubly proud to say that the new team positions Tribal members in two critical roles.”
“Having served as General Manager of both our Connecticut and Pennsylvania properties, Bobby has continuously proven his progressive leadership style, combined with his energetic spirit and dedication to our employees and guest service – ultimately making him the natural choice for this position,” said Mitchell Etess, Chief Executive Officer for MTGA. “I could not be prouder or feel better about having him in line to succeed me.”
Etess will retain the role of Chief Executive Officer of MTGA through the transition until fall 2015.

With regard to the new President & General Manager of Mohegan Sun, Etess said, “When you combine Ray’s previous professional experience, along with the nearly 10 years of performance in gaming operations here, he is more than prepared for this role.”
He added that, “Tom’s three decades of experience in the industry throughout the country provides a unique dimension for current and future properties.”
Chairman Brown went on to add that, “Consistent with the goal of the Indian Gaming Act, our mission when we opened in 1996 was to have Tribal members gain the education and experience to run the family business one day. Today is a perfect demonstration of those goals being achieved.”
Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell, who in addition to serving as U.S. Senator, was a three-term U.S. Representative, Olympic athlete and is a member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe, praised the announcement stating, “I am gratified that the Mohegan Tribe is placing individual tribal members at the top of its gaming management structures. This is an important achievement for Indian self-determination and tribal self-governance, and fulfills one of the goals I, along with the late Dan Inouye and others shared when Congress enacted the 1988 Indian Gaming Regulatory Act and the 1994 Mohegan land settlement act.”

Concert set for August 19th; Tickets on sale this Friday at 10:00am
UNCASVILLE, CT (February 23, 2015) – Santana is touring his latest studio album, Corazón, and Mohegan Sun Arena is slated to once again host the legendary guitarist in concert beginning at 7:30pm on Wednesday, August 19th.
Tickets are $59.50 and $39.50 and go on sale Friday, February 27th through Ticketmaster at 10:00am. For forty years and as many albums later, Santana has sold more than 100 million records and reached more than 100 million fans at concerts worldwide. To date, Santana has won ten GRAMMY ® Awards and three Latin GRAMMY ® Awards. Mohegan Sun Celebrates the Year of the Goat on March 1st
Uncasville, CT – Mohegan Sun is getting ready to celebrate the year of the Goat on Sunday, March 1st. Following the tradition, Mohegan Sun is ringing in the Lunar New Year with a variety of events including a highly anticipated concert in the Mohegan Sun Arena, a traditional Lion Dance, the Fortune God, an appearance by the winners of the 2014 Miss NY Chinese Beauty Pageant, special menu items at Sunrise Square and bus giveaways.
The celebration begins with a performance in Mohegan Sun Arena by famous pop singer G.E.M. from Hong Kong. The two concerts will take place at 1:00am and 2:00pm on March 1st. Red Envelopes will be distributed for Asian bus line runs. This giveaway starts on February 19th, the first day of Lunar New Year, and lasts through February 27th. During this period, guests who ride the Asian buses can receive a red envelop with cash varying from $5 to $100 inside. The Fortune God will also visit Mohegan Sun concourse from Noon – 1pm on March 1st for another special Red Envelope giveaway and photo opportunity. The Chairman of the Mohegan Tribe, Kevin Brown, Mohegan Sun’s President and CEO, Bobby Soper, and Vice President of Asian and Far East Marketing, Kelly Leung, will be present, in addition to the Money God and the top two winners from the 2014 Miss NY Chinese Beauty Pageant. From February 11th to March 5th, Mohegan Sun will be decked with festive decorations. Starting on February 19th, the Chinese New Year festive dishes will be served over in Sunrise Square. These include 2 lb. Ginger and Scallion Lobster for $48, Braised Pig Feet for $18, Crispy Red Snapper for $28, Crispy Half Chicken for $22, and Sautéed Vegetable Medley for $16.
