Adams will be performing a set that will honor not only the 30th anniversary of Reckless — a deluxe version of which was released in November 2014 featuring exclusive expanded bonus material — but also his endless catalogue of Rock classics. Originally released in 1984, Reckless produced a record six huge hits: “Run to You,” “Kids Wanna Rock,” “Somebody,” “Summer of ’69,” “One Night Love Affair” and “It’s Only Love,” a duet with the incomparable Tina Turner. Reckless also gave Adams his first U.S. #1 on Billboard with “Heaven,” as well as a Diamond Award for over a million copies sold in Canada. The album was the turning point in Adams’ career, resulting in his hugely successful World Wide in ’85 Tour.

Mohegan Sun Celebrates the Year of the Goat on March 1st
Uncasville, CT – Mohegan Sun is getting ready to celebrate the year of the Goat on Sunday, March 1st. Following the tradition, Mohegan Sun is ringing in the Lunar New Year with a variety of events including a highly anticipated concert in the Mohegan Sun Arena, a traditional Lion Dance, the Fortune God, an appearance by the winners of the 2014 Miss NY Chinese Beauty Pageant, special menu items at Sunrise Square and bus giveaways.
The celebration begins with a performance in Mohegan Sun Arena by famous pop singer G.E.M. from Hong Kong. The two concerts will take place at 1:00am and 2:00pm on March 1st. The tour announcement comes on the heels of the acclaimed singer-songwriter’s triumphant night at the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards, where Sheeran was nominated for 3 awards, including the prestigious “Album of the Year” for his RIAA platinum-certified album X (pronounced multiply). Sheeran’s other nominations came in the categories for “Best
Pop Vocal Album” and “Best Song Written For Visual Media” for his song “I See Fire” from the feature film The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Already proving to be one of the biggest songs of the year, Sheeran’s latest single “Thinking Out Loud” has skyrocketed to #1 on the Hot AC radio chart and #2 at Top 40. Likewise, “Thinking Out Loud” stands tall at #2 on Billboard Hot 100, earning the acclaimed singer-songwriter the highest charting U.S. single of his career so far. “Thinking Out Loud” is the third single from X following back-to-back RIAA-certified platinum singles “Sing” and “Don’t.” Already a global smash, “Thinking Out Loud” has already gone to #1 in 9 countries around the world, including his native United Kingdom. Sheeran debuted the single in the U.S. with high profile performances of the song on CBS’ Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and the season finale of NBC’s The Voice in December.
