Start off the morning with a special brunch menu in addition to the regular offerings at Hash House A Go Go, one of Mohegan Sun’s newest restaurants. This special menu, served Mother’s Day from 7:30am to 5:00pm, features “Roast Chicken Betsy” served with Griddled Mashed Potatoes and Fresh Fruit, a Strawberry Frosted Flake Pancake, HHAGG Sausage Waffle and Hash House Steak O’ Day. Todd English’s Tuscany will also be offering special menus for both brunch and dinner. Brunch will run from 10:00am-2:00pm and will be $38.00 per adult and $14.00 for children ages six to twelve (tax and gratuity not included). Mom and her family can enjoy a plethora of dishes including Omelets and Eggs made-to-order, chilled offerings, both a pasta and carving station, a variety of hot offerings including Chocolate, Hazelnut & Banana French Toast with Vanilla Sauce, a dessert station and a complimentary glass of champagne or Mimosa beginning at 11:00am. The special dinner offerings will be available from 4:00pm-10:00pm and will include an Insalata of Watermelon, Heirloom Tomatoes, Arugula, Feta Cheese, Spiced Macadamia Nuts and Creamy Red Wine Vinaigrette for $9.00 and Butter Poached Maine Lobster, Petite Asparagus and Roasted Lemon Risotto for $60.00.

The Doobie Brother’s last album, World Gone Crazy, may be the band’s most remarkable for the extent to which it stands completely on its own. Yes, World Gone Crazy is another chapter in one of the great American music stories, but it’s neither comeback nor nostalgia. An exhibition of aggressive and emotional performances, evocative storytelling, unapologetic attitude and world-class musicianship, the collection is its own justification.
In a sense, World Gone Crazy is an analogy for the Doobie Brothers as a whole. With founding members Tom Johnston and Pat Simmons, and 30 year-plus veteran John McFee, the Doobies have perfectly honored the band’s legacy with an offering that grows in unexpected new directions.
The songs on World Gone Crazy all feature Johnston and Simmons as writers and lead vocalists. Adding dimension to the project, in some cases there were co-writers involved, as well as some notable contributions or “guest appearances” by other vocalists.
Aside from a few years of inactivity in the mid-eighties, the Doobie Brothers have continued to perform, create and record for over 21 consecutive years. “The Doobies have always been about playing live,” Johnston says. “We’re not a studio hot house group and we’re not a concept album. That’s the way it’s been from the very first album and that’s still the way it’s being done.”

Popular comedian will perform his standup comedy in The Cabaret Theatre
Talented actor, stand-up comedian and star of the hit CBS television series Mike and Molly, Billy Gardell, is set to take the stage at The Cabaret Theatre on Wednesday, July 17th for two shows at 8:00pm and 10:00pm.

Gardell took the long road to Hollywood, stopping at every small town lounge, military base and comedy club along the way. His comedy act took him to Los Angeles where his dedication to acting, along with touring as a stand-up comedian, allowed him to grow consistently in both arenas. His stand-up show is a powerhouse. His grounded, down-to-earth point of view strikes a strong chord with American audiences. Stories about his rough childhood, wild adolescence and new family life are executed with the skill of a master craftsman.
As a stand-up comic, his comedy specials, Billy Gardell: Halftime, premiered on Comedy Central and Billy Gardell Presents Road Dogs premiered on Showtime. In addition he makes regular appearances on NFL Today on CBS Sports.
Gardell has had numerous television and motion picture roles. Before Mike and Molly he co-starred in the critically acclaimed series Lucky.
