One of the hottest bands will take the stage in the Arena to kick off their tour on May 22nd

One Direction made history when their debut album Up All Night entered the US Billboard 200 chart at #1 with over 176,000 copies sold. This makes chart history as the first British group ever to debut at #1 in the US with their debut album release. Up All Night went straight to #1 on the digital chart within minutes of its official release on March 13th.
One Direction gained notoriety in 2010 after appearing on The U.K.’s The X-Factor. UNCASVILLE, CT – This May, Mohegan Sun is getting ready to unveil one of the largest changeovers to an existing casino floor in the history of the gaming industry. Memorial Day weekend, the Northeast’s premier entertainment and gaming destination will roll out Mohegan Sun’s PowerPlay Bonusing – a collaboration with Bally Technologies, Inc. featuring their new iVIEW™ and iVIEW Display Manager™ (DM) with Elite Bonusing Suite™.
This new programming, with preview days beginning May 5th, will be installed on nearly 6,000 machines property-wide and provides a one-of-a-kind gaming environment with real-time, point-of-play rewards and promotions. Easy-to-play progressives, slot tournaments, virtual racing and wheel promotions provide more ways for guests to win instantly as they play their favorite slot machines, while at the same time having instant access to property information, entertainment, restaurants and retailers, as well as Player’s Club point balances.
“It became clear to us that the best way to grow in this increasingly competitive market is to have the most innovative tools available and provide the best gaming experience for our guests,” said Mohegan Sun’s President and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Hartmann. “Not only is Mohegan Sun part of an elite group of casinos worldwide offering this technology, but it is the only casino in the Northeast and the largest in the country to offer this unique bonusing product for our guests.”
Part of the new bonusing program is Mohegan Sun’s Virtual Racing Circuit. Slot players will have the opportunity to participate in a free bonusing event where they can pick one of eight horses such as ShineMaker and Sky High. If their horse wins, they automatically get rewarded.

Customized offers and bonus rewards are also offered. Bally’s Elite Bonusing Suite adds dramatic new levels of excitement and anticipation to the slot play experience. The Elite Bonusing Suite applications deliver floor-wide, personalized promotions, second-chance-to-win events, and the ability for players to earn valuable rewards − all without interrupting their play experience.

Performing live in the Arena on June 26th
Connecticut, the wait is over. Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band will perform at Mohegan Sun Arena for one night only on Tuesday, June 26th at 7:30pm, as part of Jimmy Buffett’s “Lounging at the Lagoon” Tour 2012. Local Parrotheads won’t want to miss their chance to soak in the full Margaritaville experience.
Tickets are $185.00 and $135.00 and go
on sale Friday, April 27th through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster customers may log on to ticketmaster.com; call Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge By Phone number 1.800.745.3000; or visit any Ticketmaster outlet. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Saturday, April 28th, subject to availability. There is a six-ticket limit per customer.
Jimmy will have a new live CD/DVD this summer, which was recorded in Las Vegas last October. It will be released on Jimmy’s own Mailboat Records. And Jimmy’s first digital album release, Volcano – Live 2011, is now available for download through iTunes and contains new live versions of the songs from this classic album.
Additionally, the game, Margaritaville, is now available online – it’s an island virtual world filled with music, adventure and the Margaritaville lifestyle.
